Alex walks into grocery store. He walks down isle three grabs a bag of doritos, then walks to the back to buy a liter bottle of pepsee. On his way to the cash register, he finds himself grabbing a box of tissues. He sighs and continues toward the registers.

Hello, did you find everything well?
Alex
Yeah, yeah, can I just get this over with. I wanna go home.
Madden
Sure, credit or debit.
Madden
Sorry, your card was declined.
He starts to mumble swear words under his breath. He buries his head in the palm of his hand, takes a deep breath, then removes his hand to see Madden.
Alex
I’ve had a long day, can I pay for it with cash.
Alex pulls out of his pocket seven dollars, two nickels, Lindt, and a small spring

Sorry this is all I have
Madden takes five dollars, hands the rest back plus his stuff he bought.
Madden
Consider it a tip, or a coupon, for being cute.
Alex starts blushing and covering his face

On Alex’s way out a piece of paper falls out of his other pocket and onto the floor.
Madden leaves the counter, looks around, and stuffed the paper into his pocket

Madden is sitting at home on his couch, texting his best friend Fynn.

On his way out he dropped a piece of paper from his pocket, annnnnddd I may or may not’ve grabbed it
Madden scrounges his pocket and pulls out the small crumbled piece of paper. Opens it and reads it out loud

Madden grabs his phone again and continues to text Fynn
