Valerie: 7:45 AM

“Asteria, the goddess of the stars, lived long ago; one day, she and the other goddesses of the planets created the zodiac system, each of them having their distinct personalities and ways of handling things. There are 12 zodiacs, and each person has things in their chart that are based on their day, the time, where they were born, and the planets' positions at birth. You may wonder what this has to do with today or why this is so important. Not everyone is fortunate enough to possess the goddesses' spirits. However, there are twelve girls who possess the goddesses' souls. Who could they be?" A woman who happens to be my grandmother tells me, "Grandma, have you taken your medicine today?" I ask wonderstruck, "What is with talking about planets?" As if I care... "Valerie, dear, I know you possess a goddess spirit.” she exclaimed excitedly. “Uh, which one of these magical things am I supposed to have?” I ask her, “Valerie, you possess the spirit of Hestia, the goddess of fire. As you get older your power will awaken. It’s a gift, you are one of the chosen ones.” I look at her very concerned, like how am I, a 16-year-old girl supposed to be some goddess possessed whatever she said it was? I quickly look at the time: 8:15 AM, Crap! I’m late, I shout “Bye Grandma! I’m late for school! Felicity, who I call Fefe, is my beautiful best friend, and she's 5'6 with dark red hair and freckles across her nose. She's usually seen in ripped jeans and crop tops and is always invited to all the cool parties. I hear her say "You're late loser." as she drags me to her 2009 BMW. I am jealous. Then she drives to Amber's house, my other best friend. The Platinum blonde and pink highlights in her hair, her green eyes, and her flawless skin make Amber absolutely gorgeous. Amber doesn't care what people think of her, and she knows she is a queen, having won homecoming princess three years in a row. Several people think she's too egoistic, and to be fair, she can be. However, it's tolerable for me. Upon pulling up to her house, she's wearing an embroidered floral skirt and a matching top, and her hair is styled into pigtail braids.

As she gets in the car she says "What the hell, have you guys been so busy! I have a student council meeting to attend right? I got to be there soon!" Felicity chuckles and says “It’s not my fault your highness Blame it on Ms.I’m going to take my sweet time.” Amber stares at me with a displeased look and says “Next time if you’re going to be a slow ***, make sure you tell people.” I then turn to her and say “you act like you were ready ages ago, we all know you just got out here.” she looks caught off guard before turning a little red and stammers “W-w-what? No” I just laugh and then tell them about what my grandmother said. Felicity laughs and mocks it a little, meanwhile Amber says Her dad told her the same exact thing, said “My dad said that I was possessed by Flaunta, the goddess of confidence and went on and on about her intelligence and beauty, and how she was a goddess to be reckoned with. I thought it was Bullshit until I randomly started knowing answers to things I haven’t even heard of before. It’s quite strange.” we all look at her like she’s crazy and before we know it we arrive at Oakwood High school, the school that I go to, unfortunately when I walk to my locker the most annoying person I just so happen to know is Arua Jackson… She's 4’11 and is way too energetic and loud for me, she also tends to lie about a lot of things. “Hey, Val! My birthday’s coming up, and I wanted to give you and your friends an invitation to my birthday party,” she says as she hands me 3 purple and green invitations. I turn and look at felicity who’s trying not to laugh, and amber who’s rolling her eyes as she struts off towards the office for her meeting. I head to my gym class, unlike other people, it tends to help me with calming down, running is my escape, that’s why I do track.

Felicity: 9:12 AM

While walking to class, I am pulled to the side by an office person, and I am led to the office where there is an old woman, and I see Valerie and Arua. I see 9 other girls I know and some I don't. She then explains that "you may wonder why I am here, well you girls will be living at an academy you girls and some authorities know about." We follow her into a van as she continues to tell us about the academy. After we all get in, I'm seated next to a nerd who's still doing homework. When I look closer at her, I'm amazed at her beauty... She has long, curly brown hair with fair skin, hazel eyes, and a perfect figure. My gaze continued to wander until she asked "Um, can I help you?" Realizing my mistake, I just replied "Oh, you're really pretty" but she blushed and said "Shush, I'm doing my job." She returned to her work. I tap her on the shoulder and ask, "By the way, what is your name?" She looks at me puzzled, "My name is Sylvia, what is yours?" "Mine is Felicity, you can call me FeFe for short". "Felicity!" She exclaims to me as she stares at me up and down, writing down what was going on the whole time... She says "You have Artemis' spirit in you, or I should say that you are a Sagittarius. I have Laetitia or Capricorn in me.” I look at her and ask about the other zodiac signs, she tells me everyone’s name, “there is Valerie, who is Aries, Arua who is Gemini, Amber who is Leo, Estelle who is Libra, me who is Capricorn, Luna who is Cancer, Serena who is Taurus, Marcia as Scorpio, Azure as Virgo, Arlyn as Aquarius, Kristen as Pisces.”  It’s a lot of information to take in, but i think i’m starting to understand.

But I can’t help but keep looking at her. When we arrived at the school, I was impressed with our dorm rooms, and since I was roommates with Sylvia, I plan to begin dating her soon, since she’s a lovely girl.

Sylvia: 1:26 PM

Since we left our old school four hours ago, I have only known what is happening because my grandmother is taking us. Ever since I was little, she told me this day would come. I have been trained to use a sword since I was young. another universe out there, that us 12 need to defend.

 Everybody, except Marcia, had a reaction to entering the academy, which was a bit unusual. Although Marcia is meant to be a Scorpio, she has long dark hair and fair skin. She has a seductive, sexy look, but when she talks to you, it will be the utter opposite. As we enter the central hall, a lady announces "Hello young ladies, I am Mrs. Harper and I will be your headmistress." She speaks in a way that nearly sounds British. Very elegant as well, hell this place looks like a castle for goodness sake. As I walk towards Felicity, I can't shake her calm presence, everyone else seems either frightened or infuriated while she's so calm. Not felicity. She is still being herself - making jokes, laughing, flirting. Just being so calm, as if she doesn't care. I am also calm, but only because I know what's happening and that we're not in any danger, or so I believe.

Sylvia:

The people took us girls here because we are members of the zodiac, but they have not explained that they are using us to defeat Eris, an ancient goddess of chaos. Because of Eris' disagreeable nature she was the only goddess not to be invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. When she turned up nonetheless and was denied entry, she became enraged and threw an apple to the goddesses inscribed, "To the fairest." Three people claimed it, Hera, Aphrodite and Athena, which resulted in the Trojan War. It is our duty to suppress Eris as the selected zodiacs with the goddess spirits, because she is stubborn and is determined to raise hell on earth.

My roommate that I share with is felicity and I can't help but smile when I see her. She notices me smiling "So how are you, smiley?" she asks me. I immediately blush and reply, "I'm just happy to be here," which is a lie since I'm really pleased to see her. Afterwards, she gets up and asks me if I want to go for a walk with her, to which I agree. During our walk, I notice a girl crying on the stairs. When Felicity asks the girl, "Umm... Are you alright? "

the girl then describes how she is alone and doesn’t know anyone here, Felicity sounds insecure and says, "If you want, you can walk with us, Sylvia can explain." I then ask, "What is your name?" and she answers, "Oh! My name is Luna. What about you?" I say “My name is Sylvia, and this is Felicity.” When I get a better look at her, She has dark, shoulder-length black hair. She is adorable and is wearing a hoodie and jeans.  I then explain everything I explained earlier.

The three of us head to the dining hall for dinner. As we all sit at the table, a girl approaches us and asks "May I sit with you guys?” Felicity looks confused and then says “Uh, sure?” the girl sits next to Luna. the girl introduces herself as Kirsten.

On our way back to my dorm room, felicity is interested in knowing more about me. Unsure of what to say to her, I decide to trust her. “It all began when my parents died in a house fire when I was very young, and I was raised by my grandmother, who studied with me about the zodiac signs when I was young, as well as teaching me how to use a sword and grimoires. She taught me this because she knew what my purpose was in this world.” "She said Eris was a threat and how we needed to stop her." I told her. Felicity stares at me weirdly and nods her head before saying, "Well, at least I still have my mom."

She shares that, "My parents never separated, my father floated around until I was about 11 before killing himself. Other than that, things were great." I just want to hug her so much, but it's impossible to do because that would be weird.

 Incredibly, she grabs my waist and pulls me into a tight embrace. At first, I thought, "What are you doing?" but then I realized how good she smells and how warm she feels. For some reason, I want to kiss her so badly. Then of course we are interrupted by someone knocking on the door, it’s our handmaid Penlope, telling us to sleep. We both get in bed and go to sleep.
