Yajna was on her way home in her scooter around 7:00 PM. A car came on that way and hit her.

10 hours later, Yajna opened her eyes. She woke up and looked around the hospital room and mumbled "Where am I?"

She came outside of her room "I am in hospital, I should call my parents to let them know I will be coming soon" she looked for her phone in her Jean packet. "Where is my phone?" She went back inside to look for her phone and her handbag. Her jaw dropped and eyes widened in shock after she saw herself in the bed.

"Who am I seeing right now? It can't be true"

Yajna went next to unconscious Yajna and tried to touch her. But she can't feel the touch of anything. She sat on the unconscious Yajna and leaned back in bed to get into her body. When she sits up, her body doesn't move an inch from the bed.

She went outside and tried to contact others "Doctor, What happened to me?" She walks along with the doctor but he can't hear her nor see her "Doctor,.. Doctor…" she turned and called "Sister…"

Soon she saw her mother talking to the doctor "Maa.."

Yajna's Mother Nandita "What happened to my daughter?"

"She injured her head and fell unconscious. We can't guarantee you she will get consciousness"

Doctor said "I need to check other patients"

Nandhita cried in Yajna's stepfather's arms. "Maa.. I am here, right here." She saw her half-brother Utkarsh visit Yajna inside the ward. He is 15 years old. He held her sister's hand "Everything will be alright. I am here with you. Always support you."

Nandhita entered the room with stepfather Rahul. Rahul said "Utkarsh, can you stay outside for a moment. I need to talk to your mother?"

Utkarsh left the room. Rahul said "Doctor, won't say exactly if she gets consciousness or not. We used her father's insurance money to pay for her studies. We have another son, need to take care of. We should let her go."

Yajna heard everything and her eyes filled with tears in a blink; it traced down her cheeks and thought "As expected, you have never treated me a single day as your daughter. What I could expect from you?"

Nandita said "We can shift her to our home. I will take care of her. I will wait for her to get consciousness"

Rahul said "Her brain is dead. She can't wake up again. Her heart only beats if you keep in the ventilator. I can't afford anything for her. She is legally dead. You should let her go."

Rahul showed her file. She read the file while her mom is reading the file.

Yajna thinks "It's over. I am dead. I will disappear from here. When my heart stopped beating" she sits on the bench alone crying.

On the other side, Nikhil scolds his friend Ankur "What have you done? You met with the accident. What about the girl? Is she alright? I came directly from the station without going home. You welcomed me with great pleasure"

Ankur said "She was admitted in the same hospital. She is severely injured as well. You should go home"

Nikhil said "Worry about yourself" Nikhil's phone started ringing "Hello Maa.. I will be coming soon. I will come back in the evening. Take care of yourself"

Nikhil walked down to the ground floor. He saw the girl sitting and crying on the bench.

Nikhil took a walk towards the taxi, but he stopped and turned and walked towards the girl and thought "Why are you so concerned about the girl? When no one wants to console her."

Nikhil sat next to her and called the girl "Hey.."

She lifted her head and looked at him. They looked at each other.

Nikhil sat next to Yajna "Why are you crying?"

Yajna said "I am gonna die soon. I am a brain dead person"

Nikhil scratched his head and mumbled "Looks like your brain is dead"

"Haaan?"

"Nothing, you continue… I am leaving" Nikhil got up from the bench to leave.

Yajna asked "Why are you here?"

"Me, I came to meet my friend"

"I am asking What happened to you?" She scanned him from top to bottom "You are soldier"

He looked at his military pant "Yes, I am"

"You should be so proud. You gave your life to this country."

Nikhil smiled and said "I need to go. You are alright now" Yajna nods her head. Nikhil took a few steps and turned back to look at her.

A 5 year old kid came to Yajna and said "Sister, only you can see me or hear me. Doctors are doing an operation on me. I felt so scared. I feel like I am gonna die"

Yajna said "I will come with you. I saw your report, very small surgery, no need to be afraid. There is one more uncle like us."

Nikhil saw Yajna talking to the wind and thinks "Definitely she should be admitted to mental hospital"

A moment ago, Other people in the hospital thought "Poor boy (Nikhil), should be admitted to a mental hospital. He is talking to himself"

Yajna turned to Nikhil but he left already and thinks "He is too young. Poor like me"

Yajna stayed with the kid in the surgery room after doctors performed the operation. The kid's soul disappeared. Doctors came out of the operation room and said "Operation is successful"

After an hour later, the kid opened his eyes. But he couldn't see the Yajna nor remember about her.

Yajna is happy for the kid and leaves that place and goes to her room where her body is placed.

Nikhil went to his house. Nikhil's mom asked "Where did you go? Get ready, we should go to see the girl's family for matchmaking."

Nikhil's mother Archana rushed Nikhil to get ready and visited the girl's family. The girl came with coffee. She looks beautiful. Girl's father said "Nikhil might want to talk to my daughter Ishita"

Ishita takes Nikhil to the garden. Nikhil asked "What are you doing?"

Ishita said "I am a Fashion designer. I like to design clothes. "

Nikhil smiled. Ishita asked "So, how was the weather in Kashmir?"

Nikhil replied "It will be around 7- 9 degree"

Ishita asked "You have a girlfriend. I mean like ex"

Nikhil said "I love only my country apart from my parents. I never thought of marrying. Because of my mom's compulsion. I came here. I really don't want to marry you. Anything can happen when I am on duty. I don't want you to take responsibility for me"

Ishita replied "I have patriotism. That's why I asked my father to look for soldier"

Nikhil smiled. Ishita asked "Don't you ask me about my past?"

Nikhil said "I don't want to know about it"

Ishita said "I had a boyfriend in my college days"

A little girl came and interrupted them. "Sister, Your Dad called you both"

Nikhil and Ishita liked each other. They fixed the matchmaking for each other. On the way home, Nikhil asked his father Surya to drop him in the Apollo hospital.

Surya asked "What happened?"

"Ankur is admitted to the hospital. I need to visit him"

Archana asked "What happened to Ankur?"

"He met with an accident last night. His leg is broken. He can't walk for 2 months and should be in bedrest for at least month"

Surya dropped Nikhil at the hospital. Nikhil got down from the car and said "I may not come tonight"

Archana said "No problem, stay here with your friend and take care of him"

Nikhil nodded his head "Okay Mom, Dad bye"

Nikhil enquired about the girl who met with an accident with Ankur. Nikhil walked to Yajna's room. Yajna came out for a moment and smiled after seeing Nikhil.

Yajna rushed to him "Are you looking for me?"

Nikhil said "No, I came to see the patient"

"Exactly, what I am saying? You don't find anyone to talk to. So, you looking for me"

"Are you crazy? I came to see the patient inside the 506" Nikhil replied

"That patient is me. Wait, how did you change your clothes? I wanted to change mine too. Do you know some kind of magic to change clothes?"

Nikhil looked confused "I am struck with this crazy girl" and he opened the door

Yajna was too surprised "How are you able to touch the door?"

Nikhil saw Yajna's body in the room. Nikhil asked "Who is she? Is she your twin?"

Yajna said "It's me"

Nikhil got a phone call from Ankur. He picked up the call and said "I will call you later"

Yajna asked "Whom did you talk to? You change your clothes and you can touch objects and you can talk to people" Her eyes widened "Are you a grim reaper? You came here to take my life"

Nikhil chuckled "Grim Reaper? Me? What are you talking about?"

Yajna said "Earlier, I saw when the patient died, the grim reaper took the soul from the body. You came here to pursuing me to go with you"

Nikhil asked "What rubbish are you talking about?"

Nurse entered the room and asked Nikhil "What is your relationship with the patient?"

"I don't know her. We don't have any relationship"

Nurse asked "Why are you here?"

"My friend caused the accident. I wanted to know if she is doing well?"

Yajna's eyes widened in anger "You caused me to die. I am here like this because of you"

Nikhil said "Will you please stop talking for a moment, miss?"

Nurse asked, "Whom are you talking to?"

"The patient's twin sister"

Yajna started smiling. Nurse said "There is no one here and the patient has one younger brother. I never heard she is having a twin sister"

Nikhil pointed out Yajna's soul "Don't you see her?"

Nurse looked at the window "Who is there? I think you are hallucinating. I will call the doctor"

Yajna laughed out loud. Nikhil came to her and tried to touch her cheeks. He didn't feel the touch. Yajna said "Nurse thinks You are a mad guy"

Nikhil said "You thought of me as a spirit like you."

"I thought you are grim reaper"

"Sorry, Grim Reaper. But why I see you while others can't"

Yajna turned to him and said "I don't know"

Yajna said  "So, You have special eyes to see the spirits or we have special connection to see only me"

Nikhil looked at Yajna's soul. Yajna's Grandma entered the room. Yajna's eyes widened "Grandma…"

Nikhil stood up from the chair and said "Grandma.."

Grandma asked "Who are you?"

Nikhil was a little confused and looked at Yajna's soul "I am.."

Yajna said "Tell my grandma, you are my friend.."

Nikhil nods his head "I am her friend"

Grandma smiled "Thank you for visiting her. Doctor is saying her brain is dead. She won't wake up again. I lost my husband, then son and now my granddaughter. I don't have any connections to this world now. God would have taken my life instead of my granddaughter." Her eyes filled with tears

Nikhil hugged grandma and consoled her "It's alright. She is just next to you. She will be hurt by seeing you crying right now"

An hour later, Nikhil came outside with Yajna's soul. Yajna said "Thank you for consoling my grandma. "

Nikhil asked "What happened to your father?"

"My father too died in an accident when I was 2 year old. My mom got remarried later. I am only related to my grandma. "

Yajna stopped at room number 503. She stared into the open door of 503. Nikhil went to Yajna "What are you looking at?"

She pointed out the grandma lying in the bed. Nikhil entered the room with Yajna soul. "Grim Reaper.." Suddenly the flatline appeared in the cardiac monitor showing the person was dead.

Grim reaper looked at her and disappeared with grandma's soul. Nikhil asked "Did you see the grim reaper?"

Yajna walked out of the room and said "I saw the grim reaper earlier. This time, it sees me. It was really scary. At that moment, I felt like it's gonna take my soul as well"

Nikhil said "I am sorry…"

Yajna said "It's not your fault" and turned to Nikhil "Can you do me a favour?"

"I wanted to visit my mother. She might have broken down because of me. Don't tell anyone your friend caused this accident. "

Nikhil mocked "Why do I have to do this for you?"

Yajna said "because of your friend, I am wandering like a ghost. You have to fulfill my few requests on behalf of your friend. Otherwise, I will hang around your neck like a ghost in shutter movie"

Nikhil and Yajna laughed "Just now you were scared to death by seeing the grim reaper"

"Am I? I was just kidding with you. And you believed"

She came to her house with Nikhil "Just wait outside, I will check my mom if she is okay to see outsiders"

When her soul came through the door. She saw her mom discussing insurance money for Yajna after her death over the phone. Her stepfather said "I was planning to file a case against the person who caused the accident. So, we could get some money from him"

Yajna looking at her mother and stepfather. She came out of her house angrily. Nikhil asked "No need to say anything to them"

Nikhil asked "What happened?"

Yajna tears flow from her eyes. Nikhil said "They are worried about you. I will convey the message whatever you wanted to say"

Yajna said in anger "Tell them to go to hell"

Nikhil doesn't understand her behaviour. He went to his house and introduced himself as her friend.

Yajna's stepfather showed the fake tears. Nikhil saw the insurance paper on the table. Yajna's mother explained "we need to settle the hospital bill and her education loan with this amount. So, we are looking for the possibilities"

Nikhil said "Your daughter is lying in death bed. You are just worried about her insurance money. She is really disappointed in you"

Nikhil left the house and looked around for her. He didn't find Yajna. He went to the hospital and found her sitting on the bench where he saw her.

Nikhil got a call from his fiancee. He picked up the call "My friend is admitted in the hospital. If you don't mind. I will talk to you later" and he disconnected the call

Nikhil mumbled to himself "Why are you so concerned about her? You don't have no connection with her"

Nikhil went to Yajna and said "Hey.."

Yajna looked at Nikhil and smiled "Call me Yajna.."

Nikhil said "Yajna…"

Yajna asked "Why are you here? I have set you free from me"

Nikhil said "Well...I should take responsibility on behalf of my friend"

Yajna looked at the ground in guilt "It is not your friend's fault. It was mine. When I was riding the scooty, a peacock came from nowhere in the middle of the road. To stop hitting the peacock, I accidentally hit your friend's car."

Nikhil jaw dropped "You were using me by saying I have to take responsibility for you"

Yajna said "Sorry. Only you can see me. I don't have any reason to disturb you again"

Nikhil laughed "I was kidding"

Yajna said "Don't laugh and talk to me. All of them looking at you and thinks that you are mad guy"

Nikhil looks around and takes the phone from his packet and said "Now people thinks, I am talking over the phone"

Yajna smiled. "My birth is a mistake from the beginning. I lost my father after my birth. My mother show no interest in me"

Nikhil asked "Are you gonna spend your last moments with your negative thoughts?"

Yajna shakes her head. Nikhil asked "If you wanna go somewhere, I will take you"

Yajna said "I can go by myself"

Nikhil said "You don't anyone to talk to you"

"Who told you that? I can see spirits and ghost now"

"Okay then, you don't need my help anymore. I am leaving"

Nikhil started to leave. Yajna walked with Nikhil and asked "Can I come with you?"

"I am going to my home"

"I don't know, I feel alive when I am with you. I swear, I won't disturb you. Is that ok?"

Nikhil said "Your wish"

Nikhil takes Yajna to his home. Nikhil's mom asked "How is your friend? You said you will be staying with him tonight"

Nikhil said "he can take care of himself"

"You went to hospital. Go and fresh up. I will get you dinner"

Nikhil nods his head. Yajna followed Nikhil to his room. He said "I will take shower and come. You can wait here"

Yajna nods her head and lies on Nikhil's bed. Nikhil's phone started ringing. Yajna called Nikhil "you are getting a call from Ishita"  Nikhil didn't respond to her. After 10 mins, Nikhil came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his bottom.

Yajna's jaw dropped "You have great body and so many injuries as well"

Nikhil put on some clothes and looked at Yajna. Her eyes are fixed on him "Why are you staring at me?"

"I always dreamt of having boyfriend like you"

Nikhil said "I have fiancee"

"I didn't ask you to be my boyfriend. I just wanted boyfriend like you"

"Well, it's same"

"There is a huge difference"

Nikhil's mom opened the door "Whom you are talking to?"

"I am talking over my phone"

Nikhil's mom said "Okay come down have dinner and sleep"
