Although all of the continent's citizens know the truth about the malicious and indirect ways that the organization uses to fully control its citizens, they aren't able to do anything about it. Though it is true that everyone knows about the exploitation of the people on the continent, the fact that most of the continent's inhabitants come from third world countries or low socioeconomic status makes them easy to exploit. To the extent that the organization was able to continue its criminal activities such as kidnapping and inhumane experiments on the people of the continent without any kind of meaningful resistance.

This is the world of humans in the year 2117 (imaginary) , or rather the new world whose fate has not yet been determined.
