Perfection a curse that many want but never knew the consequences of it My name is Yuki Fuyuhiko born on the day the first snowfall came as soon as I learn to talk my mother manage to talk me to play the piano, the day I was supposed to meet my teacher instead of talking to her I saw the piano. Being the curious child that I am I played with it not knowing the melody I played was composed by a great musician

My mother and teacher became amazed I was just a beginner but I successfully played one of the hardest pieces in the music history I was happy to make my mother happy

M I S T A K E S

As I continue with life I didn't realize that the hole of depression has swallowed me and I can't get out, deeper and deeper until darkness has consume me

but the light has woken me up and instead of my old bedroom I woke up in the streets with only rags as my clothes "Help them" was the only thing i heard before I woke up at the street

I look around the place and saw rows of people malnourished from lack of eating I was hungry too

So i embark my first ever mission I was determined to feed the people in the the lower district

I was determined to make the lower district more Prosperous than the empire itself

But first I'm Hungry

Yuki's POV

My new mission in life make the people of the lower district prosperous

Thanks to the gods who put me in this world I won't disappoint you

I stood up from my spot and began walking around the place not knowing where to go

I saw a shop from the middle district that was familiar without any second thoughts I went in the shop it was a small bakery the owner was nice enough to give me a few breads even though the shop was declining of customers because of the competition

The lady behind the counter saw me and smiled she motion for me to come closer and I went near her

"Are you hungry again?" she asked and I nod she sighs and bent down to take one of the breads from the display case and gave it to me

"Child you keep coming back here," she sighs as she continues to talk

"you remind me of my daughter sadly she died because an unresponsible noble chose to cross the streets of the market the guards already told them it was full of bustling customers and merchant and yet they didn't listen

They only got away with paying hundreds of gold and they kept going without looking bad" she told the story trying to hold her tears

I felt pain from her story I saw a glimmer of light in her eyes I knew I was destined to help her

"Do you know that this shop was built after a month of her death I needed a distraction from not following my daughter, to at least remind me of her I named it after her that's where the name Eclise's sweet shop came in"

After finishing the bun that she gave me I smiled another reason her shop was declining of customers is because the pastries were a bit bland

"You haven't told me your name after all the times I gave you food for free at least this time you didn't run away" she jokingly said

I smiled "I need to repay you somehow how about I start working for you and help you get customers the payment will be giving me a new home and all the bread I ate from you"

she was surprised from what I said that surprise slowly turn into a sad smile "If only things are easy as what you said" she sighs I frown and look at the pastries then to her "you have been feeding me the pastries so I can live on, I want to repay you from all the things you have done to me the least I can do is help you in the shop"

she began to think about it until she gave in "fine I accept your offer" she sighs I was delighted and began working but before that, I told her about my talent in baking "I can bake the pastries while you man the counter how about that?" she was skeptical who wouldn't a child from the street said she can bake I'll just have to show her what I can do 

I went to the kitchen and look at the remaining ingredients the only thing I can do is brownies determined I wash my face then my hands each part 20 seconds after that I begin to prepare the ingredients 

I preheated the oven as I started with the dry ingredients all these are coming back to me I frown and stoped I sigh there is no time to reminiscence the past I started mixing the dry ingredients then started the wet ingredients I began mixing them both after all the mixing I poured the mixture in a large pan of course I poured the oil first before putting the mixture with everything ready I put the mixture in the oven 

I smiled at my work as I began cleaning up everything, I was so busy I didn't notice a boy looking by the door "who are you" I was surprised good thing I wasn't holding anything I looked by the door and saw the boy "uh I'm Miss Agatha's new baker"  he looks at the table where the brownies were

I look at him then at the brownies I smiled knowing a child everything sweet to them is like a gift from heaven after cleaning everything I took one and gave it to him then took the rest and went out the kitchen and gave it to Agatha she looks at the brownies eyebrows furrowing she was curious about the brownies I was confused this is a bakery don't they have brownies then something click I looked at the displays it was all bread no flavor just plain bread what kind of bakery is this there isn't even a speck of any flavor 

this is why a few people would buy here I sigh I nudge her to take a bite and tell me if it's delicious or not she slowly took one and was careful eating one thinking it wasn't tasty I smirked I wasn't called the ultimate prodigy for nothing 

I looked at her the right time she already took a bite then something happened 'did I make the wrong measurements' I dreaded I frown ready to throw the brownies away until I heard a squeal I look back at Agatha I saw her blushing face I was confused then look at her hand of course the brownies I know I didn't make a rookie mistake such as measurements while Agatha was talking about the taste both of us heard a scream from the kitchen 

she was about to reconsider putting down the brownies to go check on the scream I chuckled lightly and patted her hand telling it was okay "I'll go check on it" i said she smiled with stars on her eyes as she begins to munch on the brownies I remember the smiles of the people who eats my baked goods that was the only thing keeping me happy until my mother told me to stop since i was already good enough on baking and consider other things 

this time in this life I won't regret anything
