...Allison's POV...

My name's Allison Romirez. I just moved here yesterday, with my family, because my dad have to work here. I have an older brother, 1 year above me, his name's Wilson

Today the school orientation starts. I'm a first grade student in high school, so I have to attend it, while Wils, he don't have to. But since I don't know the way to reach there so I force him to take me there 😅

I knock his room, and enter

A : "Wils, get ready to take me to school"

W : "Huh? What for?"

A : "Do you want me to get lost on the way there?"

W : "Okay, okay..." 😧

I walk out of his room and enter my room, which is across his room. I put my uniforms on

I walk downstairs and found Wils is sitting in the living room, waiting for me. I walk out of the house, he's catching up, and we walk together.

A : "Do you already know the way there?"

W : "Kinda, not too complicated, and only takes 10 minutes to get there"

A : "Nice, the easier the route, the faster I remember"

W : "Oh, really? Do you think 2 weeks is a short time?"

A : "Still better than a month"

W : "That's the time you need to remember the whole district"

A : 😂😅😅

Wils left me alone as soon as we see the school gate. As soon as I enter the school, there's a flag field, surrounded by a building, uhmm, not really though. the building make an L later, surrounds the right and the front side, while on the right side there's a tree and a bench below it. It seems that in that building there are classes. I can see another building behind, a little taller than it

Since the orientation haven't started yet, I decided to walk around the school. I just want to know what's behind this building and what's that building.

There is another field behind it, but this one is used for soccer. And beside the field, there's a building, it's a gymnasium.

I found a garden where there are many flowering trees. There's no bench there, so I sit on the grass and enjoying the view for a moment

The bell is ringing, I have to go back there, to the flag field. But, where am I? Gosh why am I always wander aimlessly? 😖

There's no one around here. I tried to get back there, turning my head to the right and left, hope someone passes

*Bump

I bump into someone and we both are falling down

"Sorry, are you okay?" He said while stand up, then offering his hand

"Uhmm, yeah.. I guess" I take his hand and stand up, then I feel hurt on my knee

"Tsk" 💭 Am I that unlucky? Even I bleed when I just fall 😧

"Gosh, I'm really sorry, I don't even see you in front of me" He apologize with a guilty face

"Eh, no, please, don't be really sorry like that, it's nothing much, just a scratch"

"But still, it's bleeding"

"It's nothing, really. Uhmm, could you tell me where the flag field is?"

"Sure, why? Are you a 1st grader?"

"Uhh, yeah, I am"

"Oh, so you're, no wonder your face didn't looks familiar. They went to the auditorium, which is located there-" He point to a building, the building I thought contained classrooms

"I'm going to take you there after I take you to the nursery" He continue

"Eh, you don't have to-"

"I insist"

"Okay.."

Without saying anything he carry me with his hand, on bridal style and start walking. I'm blushing

"W-what are you doing? Put me down!"

"But if you walk like that, you'll feel hurt, right?"

"Eh- maybe? But don't carry me like this"

"Then how?"

"J-just put me down!"

"If you're suggest me to do that, then I won't do it. Give me suggestion that make you don't have to walk"

*Sigh "On your back" I give up, it's almost impossible to win against him

"Ok"

He carry me on his back, walking to the nursery in silent. After a while he break the silence

"Btw, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Evan William, you?"

"Allison"

We arrive at the nursery, but there's no teacher. So he put me on the bed and prepare the first aid

"You're way far enough for someone who's coming to this place for the first time" He try to start a conversation again

"I just like to wander around in a new place"

"But then you ask for direction, did you got lost by any chance?"

"Uhh, yeah, kinda normal thing for a direction blind person like me"

"If you act like that, you'll make the people around you worry. And I'm sorry if you didn't comfortable with my act"

"Don't be sorry. Usually there's no one beside me. Since I have a hard time to start to speak with someone, even though I open up easily"

"Just like now?"

"Hmm, I guess. But, senior, don't you have something to do? You look like in a rush a few minutes ago"

"Nah, I already told my friends to take care of things until I get there"

"Is it okay for you to say like that?" I feel a little guilty

"Absolutely okay. It's done, let's go"

This time I walk on my own, since I insist to. But still, he glances at me every now and then, making sure I'm fine by walking

"Are you going to glance at me like that until my knee heal perfectly?" I'm asking because I feel very disturbed by his act

"Maybe, at least until you don't feel any pain with the wound"

*Sigh "Please don't be bothered by this wound, I've gotten used to this kind of thing because of my carelessness"

"You even used to get hurt ..."

"You even used to get hurt, ... "

"Hmm? What you just said? I didn't really heard that"

"No, nothing" He scratch his head hardly

We arrive at the auditorium, he's going to enter it, but I'm standing still. He turn his face towards me with a confuse face and ask

"Why? Is there any problem?"

"Uhh, no? It's just..."

"You don't want to go in?"

"That... Will attract a lot of attention"

"Ooh, you don't like much attention"

I just reply him with a little nod, then he continue

"Since it's almost a break time, why don't we wait outside?"

"Huh? Senior, don't you have something to do?"

"Well, they didn't call me, so there should be no problem"

"Huh? If they didn't call you, that doesn't mean there's no problem. It's better for you to go inside"

"Ok ok. Are you okay alone?"

"Of course"

"Then, I'll go first"

He walk to the next door, a backstage door, I guess. I'm standing outside, leaning against the wall, enjoying the silent, and try to listening to the voices inside

...15 minutes passed...

The voice inside is getting louder and soon after that, the students inside are getting out. I'm waiting for them, and after that I'm entering the room

I sit in the corner, the farthest place from the stage and the entrance. There are still many people inside, but I think most of them are 2nd graders. I'm looking at them, they seem busy, thank goodness I've told him to go in firstly. I stop looking around, I take a novel out of my bag and start to read it

...15 minutes passed...

The bell is ringing. I still sit there with my focus on my novel. Gradually, the 1st graders are entering the auditorium and filling the seats

Not long after that, a teacher comes to the stage, and continue explain the school rules. There are some points that I missed because I was late to come here

School's over, the 1st graders are walking out, making a crowd at the door. While I sit in my chair, call for Wils to pick me up, and wait for the crowd to disappear

After walking out of that building I sit on a bench below a tree, which located some distance in front of the auditorium. I continue reading the novel while waiting for Wils to arrive

My phone's ringing and shown 'Wils' on the screen. I pick up the call and ask him

"Have you arrive yet?" 💢

"Yup, I'm in front of the school gate, come here quick"

"Okk"

The call ended. I put the novel and the phone on my bag, then I stand up and walking to the school gate. Soon as I saw him, I run and slap his back, don't worry, I didn't slap him as hard as I could, but it still took him by surprise. He complain while I walk ahead of him

W : "Ouch, what was that for?"

A : "For make me wait for a long time 😑 What took you so long?"

W : "Fight laziness in me"

A : 😑😑😑

W : "But you brought a novel in your bag, right?"

A : "But still, it was too long 💢 I called you as soon as school was over, I waited in auditorium for about 10 mins, then sit there and read novel for about 30 mins, while the way to school only takes 10 minutes" 💢

W : 😂😂😂

W : "Anyway, tomorrow I don't have to pick you up, right?"

A : "Yep, pick me up on the next day, after I call you. Don't make me wait for more than half hour" 💢

W : "Okay, okay"

The first day of school orientation is held by teachers. The activities explain things about the school, such as history, vision, mission, rules, etc. Which, to be honest, make me very sleepy

While the second and third days are held by seniors in the student organization. At that night we will stay at school. I don't know what we're going to do tomorrow, but since it's held by the seniors and meant for fun, so it might be fun

...Next day...

...At 11.00 pm...

This morning, we were divided into several groups which consists of 15 people each. That group is used until the orientation ends

There are some funny members on my groups, I don't really remember their names, but today I got a lot of fun

Today activities were finished a few minutes ago. We sleep on classroom, the boys are on the 1st floor while the girls are on the 2nd one

The lamp in the class were all turned off, but there's still some light from the corridor. It's neither too dark nor too bright, but still I can't sleep, while the people in the same class as me have all fallen asleep

I walk out of the classroom, through the corridor, then down to the lobby, which was below the auditorium. I sit there and enjoying the night breeze

"Hey, what are you doing there?"

A guy's voice startled me, I turned to the source of the sound and stood up immediately

Allison : "Senior, what brings you here?"

Evan : "I ask first, you answer first"

Allison : "Uhmm, nothing, just enjoying the night breeze"

He goes beside me and sit there, then I sit down immediately

Evan : "But it's already late, why don't you sleep?"

Allison : "I can't, maybe I didn't use much energy today"

Evan : "So that's why you didn't seems to have fun"

Allison : "Does it seem that way to you? But I got a lot of fun, though"

We chat for a while, after I feel a bit sleepy I left him in the lobby and go to class to sleep

...Next day...

...At 02.30 pm...

We all gathered in the auditorium. Except for the announcement of winners, the other activities have been completed

My group won a few games, the leader of my group go to the stage to get the present, she'll share it after the orientation ends, I guess

Now is the time for that votes. After we had lunch, the senior told us to pick the students and the seniors that match the given categories
