The great Hall of Zamling was packed with people from all around the world to witness the great works of the great artist Tsering Tashi.

He was considered as one of the great painters of the Zamling city, people were so mesmerised by his works that was displayed in the great Hall.

Tsering entered the Hall in his whole glory looking so glad and proud on his own works he found his every painting to be a masterpiece and the crowd was agreeing with him.

The applause of all the people present there were filling him with pride and immense joy.

finally he is getting the recognition that he always wanted. he sighed and thought to himself finally I achieved everything. I became what I always wanted.

Finally I have all the fame.

After the grand success of his party he became arrogant and declared himself to be the best painter in the world alive.

He further declared that he can paint anything nothing is impossible for him to paint.

Everyday people will come and ask him to paint something and he will do with perfection.

His pride and his arrogance was inflating day by day.

With more fame came more recognition and with more recognition came more envy.

Not only other painters were envious of him , even his own friends and family were getting more and more anxious of his success .

The people surrounding him were always looking for ways to look down on him.

They will always asked him to paint something hard and he will always paint it with perfection.

After some months his pride became so evident that he started to claim that he was born to be a painter and people supported his claims singing praises of him.

His arrogance rubbed many people the wrong way so some people plotted against him. they wanted to strip him of his pride by ruining his claim of being born to be the greatest painter.

His friends arranged a small get together for him and asked him to be the guest of honor after hearing all this from his friends his pride knew no bounds.

The day of the get together came and they all sat around a round table and started betting and gambling but Tsering couldn't understand the Cunningness of his friends.

They all were praising him saying how proud they were to have him as their friend.

After getting little drunk Tsering started to sing his own praises the friends seeing an opportunity here said I bet you that what I request you cannot paint in your whole life. Tsering said I can and I will just tell me the subject. His friend said if you are so confident in yourself then we should bet on it.

The condition of the bet was only one and it was that whoever lose will have to give up their respective fields of work for ever.

Tsering being blinded by pride said I Tsering take an oath that if I cannot paint what my friend ask of me I will never paint in my life.

The friends exchanged a satisfied smile and shouts together it's a bet you can't back out later.
