In a world of the supernatural, everyone is classified by their class. This is called the Class of Mystics.

At the very bottom of the classes are the Humans. They are the least important class in our world. The Humans are-well, the humans of the world. They are the ones that have no abilities. It is very rare to see them around in this world because most of them are killed off by the other supernatural mystics.

The next in the class, above the humans are the Inferiors. The Inferiors are the class that has very weak powers.

The next class above the Inferiors are the Minez. The Minez rank is the most common class. More than half of the population in our world are in the Minez class. The Minez class has powers that aren't too powerful, but not too weak. You could say that they have average powers.

The next class is the High Class. They have powerful abilities, and can beat anyone below them. Lastly, we have the Legendary Class. There's very few of them in this world, but unfortunately there are two people with this rank in this school.

Forgot to mention, there's one more class in the Class of Mystics, but it is believed that this class has been extinct and no longer exists in this world. It is the mysterious, yet powerful class, the Divine Mystic Class.

Yes, the entire class of Mystics were named after this class. They are the superiors. They are the most powerful of all, and they even have the power to destroy the world if they are strong enough.

No one knows how the Divine Mystic Class became extinct, but some had said it was because everyone in the Divine Mystics were greedy and wanted more power, so they had a war. In the end, because everyone was so powerful, all of the abilities combined together and created a huge supernova explosion. It is believed that because of how powerful the explosion was, everyone inside or near the explosion had died. Because after the war there weren't any more people from the Divine Mystic class to be found, it is believed that the Divine Mystics were extinct from the powerful explosion.

Anyways you may be wondering how you can tell how strong you are right?

Well, when you get your powers, you'll know what your class is. You will also know what your power is. Now, once you get your powers and class, you will also know your power score. Your power score determines how powerful you are. The higher, the more powerful. Your power score also determines what class you're in.

People with the power score of 0-0.9 are in the Class of the Humans. People with the power score of 1.0-3.9 are the Inferiors. People with the power score of 4.0-6.9 are the High Rank Class. Lastly, people with the power score of 7.0-9.9 are the Legendary Class. If a person has a power score of 10 then they are partly Legendary Class and Divine Mystic Class. It's complicated, but to anyone from the Divine Mystic Class, that person would be from the Legendary Class. To anyone from the Legendary Class or below, that person would be from the Divine Mystic Class. Lastly, anyone above the power score of 10 are in the Divine Mystic class.

Anyways welcome to the Class of Mystics!

It was the first day of school at Mystic High. This school is one of the best schools in the world. The school has consisted of people from every class. The low ranks of this school are very unfortunate though. They are usually beaten up by the higher ranks. 

Here I am, my first day of school as a human of Mystic High. I'm sure a lot of people are going to try to mess with me, but I'll try to deal with it. After all, I'm not fully human. 

You might wonder why I say I'm not fully human right? Well I have a power score of 0.9. Well I'm not really sure if my power score is actually 0.9, but that's what my adoptive mother had told me. 

Although I'm a human, I still hold some powers. My mother told me that my power would be enhanced intelligence if I was an Inferior, so I have small powers of enhanced intelligence. Because I'm smarter than almost everyone in my home town, I also believe that I have enhanced intelligence.

As I walk deeper into the hallway of Mystic High, I see many students. I also saw many higher rank students either bullying or beating another student lower rank than them up. It terrifies me seeing this. 

I just don't get why we are not all equal, and needs to be treated differently depending on our class.

I was known for being unlucky, and I could totally see why now. At my first arrival at Mystic High, I met a student from the High Rank Class. 

She had short black hair that faded into a dark emerald green. Her eyes were also dark emerald green. She wore a light blue hoodie and white denim shorts. 

"Hey loser, you're new here?" The girl asked. 

"Are you talking to me?" I asked. 

"Of course I'm talking to you. Who else would I be talking to?" She replied.

 "Yes, indeed I am new to here" I replied back. 

"What's your class?" She asked.

 "Human." I said. 

She laughed. "What is a human doing in Mystic High? You don't belong here."

 I honestly didn't know why I was put into this school, but it was probably because I'm a special human, since rarely any humans actually had powers. 

"I'm not fully human. My power score is 0.9" I said. 

She laughed again "So you're a special human? You're basically the same as those disgusting Inferiors." 

I could feel a fire lit up within me from the humiliation. Because I was starting to get angry from this, I said something that should've never come out of a human's or a low rank's mouth. 

"Is that it? Is your main goal to humiliate me? If so, you've done it. Please get out of my way, so I can get to class." 

Although it may not seem so serious about what I've said, saying something like that to a High Rank Class when you're a human or a low ranked Class, is classified as disrespectful. 

"How dare a lowly human like you tell me to get out of your way." Said the girl with rage. 

"I'll teach you how to obey your superiors." Just as she used her abilities on me, a boy from behind blocked her abilities with his.

 The boy had short black hair that had some dark blue highlights. His eyes were shiny and it was deep blood red. He was wearing a black shirt and shorts with white outline. The girl seemed to be afraid of him. "Stop bullying the new girl, Stacy." Commanded the boy. "Yes, King Rei." Said Stacy.

 I'm not sure if I'm lucky or not. I met a high class student and the King of the school, a Legendary Class student. 

If you don't understand, no, he is not a real king. It's just that in Mystic High, a girl and a boy with the highest power scores are the King and Queen of the school. In this school, both the King and Queens are in the Legendary Class. The 4 strongest below the King and Queen, are the Prince and Princesses.

 I don't understand why the school decided to do that, but it's probably to make it easier to classify our superiors and who we need to respect. 

"Hey, you alright?" Asked Rei. 

"Yes I'm alright. Thank you for helping me out." I said.

 "It's alright, I'm Rei." Said Rei. "Since you're new here, do you need any help finding your classes?" 

To me, Rei was being awfully kind to a low rank human like me. It's very rare to meet these types of people especially in the Legendary Class. 

"Yes, I do. My first hour is ADV History." I said. 

"What a coincidence! My first hour is also ADV History." Said Rei. 

"Follow me." 

I followed him until we stopped at a tall white door. On the side of the door, it said "ADV History." Rei opened the door and we went inside.

As I entered the room, I walked toward the teacher, and Rei went to his seat. The teacher then introduced me to the class.

"This is Nova Solestria. She is a special human with a power score of 0.9." Said the teacher. "Is there anything else you would like to add, Nova?"

"Yes. I just wanted to say that I may be a human, but I still would love to be friends with all of you. Thank you." I said.

"Wonderful! I am Mrs. Castro. You may now go to your seat. Your seat is in front of Rei. He is the boy that walked into the room with you just now." Said Mrs. Castro.

I went to my seat and we listened to the history of the Class of Mystics.

"Good Morning students! Since today is the first day of school, we will be talking about the basic history of all of the classes in the Class of Mystics. Something that all of you should already know. Starting at the bottom we have the humans. Humans have been in this world longer than anyone else, and most of us have evolved into something much more powerful than humans. Humans in this world are people who haven't evolved yet, and that's why they don't have any abilities."

Someone then raised their hand, and Mrs. Castro stopped. "Yes, Jewel?"

"Miss, I have a question. Can people from the huaman class evolve now, or do you have to be born with abilities?" Asked Jewel.

"That's a very good question. No human had ever evolved in their lifetime, so scientifically, no, humans cannot evolve if they're born human, but there is an exception. This exception is the Ability Burst Theory. The Ability Burst Theory is where a human has internal spirit ability, but it could remain within the human for as long as their entire lifetime and never come out. If their internal spirit ability awakens, then it could bring out very high class powers. Basically if a human's internal spirit ability awakens, they are no longer a human and will be in one of the higher classes. No human has ever had that happen before, so that's why it's a theory." Mrs. Castro explained.

"How can a human awaken their internal spirit ability?" Asked Jewel.

"According to the Internal Spirit Ability Theory, a human can awaken their internal spirit ability by having a great sense of protection, sorrow, and madness at once, but they also have to stay pure and loyal to their original intention. Another essential thing, the intention has to be for a good cause." Mrs. Castro explained.

"How can someone have a great sense of protection, sorrow, and madness at once, but also have good intentions? Especially stay pure and loyal to it? That's impossible because when you feel sorrow and madness themselves, you ought to want to get revenge. Also the sense of protection only comes in when you are getting hurt. I'm not sure if it is just me but when someone hurts me, I want to get revenge on them. I just don't get how you can still have good intentions with those three senses together at the same time." Jewel asked.

"That may just be the reason why no human has yet awakened their internal spirit ability yet. Another thing that makes it hard for humans to awaken their ability is because not every human has an internal spirit ability. A random human gets an internal spirit ability every 100 years.'' Mrs. Castro explained.

"That makes it even more impossible for a human to awaken their ability." Stated Jewel.

"Yes, it does make it even harder for a human to awaken their ability, but it is just a theory, so it may be false and may never happen." Mrs. Castro replied.

15 minutes had passed, and I'm sure Mrs. Castro had realized that too.

"We've been discussing about the Ability Burst Theory for longer than I had expected. We need to move on to the next class." Said Mrs. Castro.

"The next class we'll talk about are the Inferiors. The Inferiors are very weak and most of the time are beaten up by higher classes. Most of them try to avoid being in the center of attention. This class was named the Inferiors because people want the members of this class to know that their existence is useless and inferior to everyone else. Although it is a little cruel, that is how the world is.  They have very little power and can't do too much."

Mrs. Castro paused for a second to get a breath.

"Next upon the classes are the Minez. The majority of us are in this class. This class has great abilities that aren't too weak and aren't too powerful. This is the most common class."

Mrs. Castro paused and took another breath.

"Sorry, the next class is the High Rank Class. We have a few people in Mystic High with this class. The High Rank Class has strong abilities that can beat every class below it. It's powers are above average."

 A boy then raised his hands. 

"Yes, Cody?"Mrs. Castro asked. 

"Who is in the High Rank Class in this school?" Asked Cody.

"Our school has the most High Rank Class students. We have 20 out of the 50 High Rank Class students in the world. The most popular students that you guys all should already know are Carson Lane, Brian Wardmen, Flora Gistien, and Vallorie Welles. They are also the prince and princess of the school." Replied Mrs. Castro. 

"Anyways, next up in the class are the Legendary Class. They are extremely strong. Their abilities are very unique and powerful. They of course can easily beat anyone below their class. We are lucky enough to have two people in this class in Mystic High. We also have one person from the Legendary class here which is Rei Galorial." 

Everyone stared at Rei, and I could tell that it was getting pretty awkward for him.

 There was a long silence that filled the room until the silence was broken. Mrs. Castro clapped three times to get our attention. 

She then continued talking. 

"Sorry to disrupt you guys, but it is over yet. There's one more class in the Class of Mystics. This is the class that not a lot of us know of. It is the Divine Mystic Class." 

Everyone gasped. Probably because they didn't know about the Divine Mystic Class. I mean it's natural that they don't know about it because from Pre-school to High School, they've never mentioned anything about the Divine Mystic Class.

 I knew about the Divine Mystic Class because I often read books about types of abilities and many types of powers, and accidentally found information about the class. 

There were so many people raising their hands now. Seeing this, Mrs. Castro told us to put our hands down. 

"I know what all of you are thinking. No, the Legendary Class isn't the strongest class. The reason why most of you have no knowledge of this class is because they were predicted to be extinct a long time ago. Why I am mentioning the class today is because scientists had found out that there might still be one person in the Divine Mystic class. 18 years ago there was a strange vibration that startled the machine that detects how strong the powers are in this world. The scientists went to check on the machine, and unexpectedly found out that the machine had exploded. This had never happened before. The machine can only explode if the powers are too high and it cannot be processed, which is why they predicted that there is someone that's from the Divine Mystic Class." 

Mrs. Castro paused and took a sip of water from the cup on her desk. 

She then continued.

"The Divine Mystics are the most powerful beings in the universe. They can destroy this world if their power score is strong enough. By that their power score must be above 12. Because they went extinct a few thousand years ago, we haven't got any information on their abilities and powers. If there is still a person from the Divine Mystic Class then-" 

Mrs. Castro was then cut off by the bell. 

Hearing the bell, everyone ran out the door. Only I stayed to hear Mrs. Castro  finish her sentence. 

"Mrs. Castro, could you finish what you were saying?" I asked.

Mrs. Castro was a little surprised. 

"Of course, if there is still a person from the Divine Mystic Class then that means any one that's 17-18 years old is possible to be from the class." 

She then stared at me. 

"You seem to be very interested in the Divine Mystics." Said Mrs. Castro.

"Yes, I've read a lot of books about it, but none of them had talked about how there may still be a person from the Divine Mystic Class." I replied. 

She smiled. 

"Interesting, if you have any more questions you can ask me in the future. I'll be happy to help you." Said Mrs. Castro. 

I agreed and left for my next class.
