Raining Piano
Episode 0 - Introduction
In my last life I was the son of an extremely wealthy, yet loving, businessman
My Father bore the name James Winchester
And came from British American origins
I certainly loved the guy, but the parent who I was closest to is my late mother
Of Japanese and Korean origins
Just as I do, my mother loved the piano
As I grew older she fell ill and we could no longer play together
But even then I never stopped playing because my mother loved to hear my melody more than her own
I later became known across the world as a piano prodigy given the title
Something I will always dislike
After being completely bedridden for months
My mother passed away when I was fourteen
My father and I both handled her death very differently
He filled his time with work
And I moved into my own home
Forever shutting myself off from the world
But I could never completely shut the world out
My passion for the piano kept me sharing my compositions to the world
On my twenty-fifth birthday was when I finally finished my greatest work
Something that put every other to shame
As soon as I hit the last note, my body began to turn into a golden dust that started to flow away in the wind
Oddly enough I didn’t panic
But now that I think back own that moment
I do believe it was because I no longer had anything left for the world
I may have disappeared from that world, but my soul never died
I was reborn into a new world
And my first memory is of crying while on someone’s doorstep
It has been seven years since that day and I have once again become a prodigy
Only this time it wasn’t only for piano
And on a much smaller scale
I currently reside in a small orphanage on the poorer and darker side of the capital
Just like in my last life I was given the name of Tal
The three biggest differences from my last world are
1. Each continent (a total of nine) are each ruled by a king or a queen
2. Magic, monsters, elves, mermaids, dragons, familiars, fae, dwarves, etc... all exist in this world
3. Gays, lesbians, transgender, poly, etc... is all very legal and common
I possess multiple types of magic:
And yes ice and healing are lost
The only other type of healing magic is the rare magic called light, but even the strongest light magic healing spells cannot compare to the magic named healing
I am currently seven and today is the day I am supposedly going to be adopted
Oh did I forget to mention that I still possess the same hair and eye color as in my previous life
But while I looked handsome in my last life, in this one my looks are godly
Though you could argue godly cute or godly handsome
Maybe even goddessly pretty
Which I’m not completely sure about how I feel with the fact that I look unbelievably pretty
