Dear readers, before you read on, allow me to explain the story.

Our two characters live in a world run mostly by AIs (Artificial Intelligence). When God made the world, he promised two ends: The Old End and the New End. Both would bring destruction to the world. Our not so innocent cinnamon roll, Haruto Hinata had got the worse out of the Old End. His parents died in an earthquake. Now, the government has prepared a mechanism to protect people from the New End. Haruto is studying hard so he can work with the government. Riku Haru, our typical bad boy (with a hidden side?!) is the only person in Haruto's way.

That day, the world crashed. Everything was in slow motion. My mother, she threw herself off the building. My father was trapped under thousands of tonnes of metal. It was a global crisis. Then, the government released their experiment. But they didn't save everyone. They couldn't. It was like the world was ending.

And the world was ending.

And a new world was born.

(Present day)

It's pretty funny how an orphan like me can actually study at New TechWorld. The prestigious academy for boys is, after all, for rich kids. But I'm not complaining. I worked so hard for a scholarship here because if you study here, you have a shot at working for the government.

I want to work for the government for two reasons: the salary, and development. The government is developing, and preparing itself for the New End. I want to contribute to that development, so that if one day, I find someone that I love again, I'll be able to save them.

I guess working for the government has it's perks.

Everyone at New TechWorld are pretty laidback. They're all rich, and have their support. I get bullied everyday, being called loser and nonsense like that. Well, at least my grades are better than theirs. At least I have goals in life.

I think I'm the one person who is ALWAYS taking up the medical supplies at N.TW(New TechWorld), haha.

Even the nurse is fed up with me. She always asks me: "Why won't you fight back?" Well, poor kids like me have no backing. If I injure those rich kid bullies back, I'll get into trouble. So I have no choice but to deal with the pain. I'm sixteen now, I only have two more years to go.

But the one guy I really hate is Riku Haru, because he's my most prominent bully. If you ignore the fact that he's bullying me, you could almost say that he hangs around me so much to the extent of a religious following.

And, he's rich, snobbish, and gets away with everything because of his good looks. Sure, I'll admit, with his raven black hair and his piercing green eyes, who wouldn't fall for him?

I, on the other hand, have white, almost silver hair and blue eyes. Due to this, people get the impression that I'm soft.

And that's really annoying, because I'm not.

I hate when people assume that I'm soft. That makes me the target of literally every bully at N.TW.

Ah, look who's coming over now. Riku Haru, world's No 1 man bitch.

"Hey, kid. I need money."

"I'm not a child. We're the same age."

"Whatever. I've finished my allowance. Give me yours."

"As an orphan, I have no allowance. Why don't you ask your mom for more the next time you drop by her house to breast feed?"

That really got on his nerves. He lives with his dad, since his parents got a divorce. But he loves his mom more, a typical mommy's boy.
