As my eyes are closed, I can hear the sound of my favorite music playing.

"Just some final touches in the eyes and, there! You look so perfect. Looking at you makes me so emotional right now." Uttered by my close friend, Devon Menesis, a renowned make-up artist in our country.

"Does make-up really suit me? You know I don't use make-up that much. I'm not confident enough." I said.

"Oh come on! Who do you think I am? I'm not a famous make-up artist for nothing! Trust me. You will rock this look. Just smile and be yourself." She replied.

I smiled at her awkwardly.

"You know, I've always wanted to ask. Why do you love this music so much? Don't tell me it reminds you of that guy?!" asked Devon.

"Huh? Why would I love a music that would remind me of him? I just love the artist. Nothing more. Besides, I'm already happy. This is a big day for me and I shouldn't be talking about that guy anymore." I answered.

"That's good to hear. I'm happy how far you've come from all the things you have been through. It wasn't easy, but you managed to get through it all. Now, be happy my dear." She said.

Without saying any other word, I nodded and hugged her.

"Let's go." Devon said.

As we went out of the room and arrived at the lobby. I noticed people were staring at me.

"Ahh. They're staring at me. Maybe I look funny." I said in my mind.

"She's here! Tell everybody to get ready." Told Ms. Smith to her employee, who were both waiting for me in the lobby. She is an event coordinator I hired.

"Hello, Ms. Smith! Thank you for waiting. " I said.

"Oh my gahd! Ma'am! You look so stunning! I can't believe it's you!" Ms. Smith exclaimed.

"Hah! Thanks to me. And, well, her naturally beautiful face." said Devon while shrugging.

"Oh come on! Stop it you two. I'm getting embarassed!" I told them.

"Okay, enough with the chit-chat! Let's go now to the garden. Ma'am, this is it. Once we arrive at the starting point, you will be by yourself. But, I'll still be guiding you from afar. There is no turning back, okay?" Ms. Smith told me.

"Dear, I'll be there watching you. Remember, just be yourself. Enjoy every moment and be confident!" Devon said.

"Ma'am, we will go ahead now. Just like the rehearsal, once the music starts you know what to do." Ms. Smith said.

"Yes. Thank you so much! Im ready." I told them both.

They both went ahead and I was left standing. Waiting for the music to play.

*piano starts playing*

I closed my eyes and said to myself, "This is it!".

I hear the creaking sound of the grand door opening. I opened my eyes, and I started walking.

My heart is in pain, it is beating so fast. It's a kind of pain I have longed to feel. A pain I never thought I would ever experience.

While walking on the red carpet with scattered white rose petals, listening to the beautiful music. I suddenly remembered everything I have been through.

I woke up early in the morning, getting a whiff of the boxy smell lingering in my room. While squinting my eyes, I looked at my phone to check the time. It was 6:30 am.

"Ahhh, today's Monday, first day of school. How could I forget?!" I said.

"Xavi! Wake up! I thought you were going to school early?!" mom shouted at the intercom.

[[My mom is a very beautiful lady with long straight blonde hair. She's a mysterious woman. Really mysterious. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) She loves to be hands-on when it comes to us.

But, don't get tricked by her adorable demeanor. She's secretly clever and cunning. DAD CAN ATTEST TO THAT.]]

I told mom yesterday that I'll be going to school early because I want to roam around the campus and familiarize the buildings before the first period starts.

Why do I need to familiarize my school? Of course, since I just moved in this place yesterday. There are still loads of stuff I need to unbox and arrange but my friends named "Lazy" and "Tired" kept bugging me not to do so. (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻

It's exhausting. I never thought moving from one house to another was tiring. Maybe bacause I was just used to living in the countryside with a humble small old house but now I get to live in this mansion.

My dad decided to let us move here in the capital city called Liamond City with him because he felt so lonely without us. He was living in this big mansion all by himself. He would usually visit us during weekends or when he is not busy.

*I went downstairs after I finished preparing *

"Xavi! Look at your uniform, your skirt and necktie is facing the wrong side. You don't need to be in a hurry, you know. It's still early." she said.

"Mom, I told you already. I need to familiarize the school campus by myself. I don't want to be toured around the school with a total stranger. I prefer being all by myself." I replied while fixing my uniform.

"Okay! Whatever you say! Now, eat your breakfast and be sure to get home early. You still have a lot of things to unbox."

"Sure, mom! Don't worry. I'll just take this toasted bread. Bye mom! And thanks!" *walks out the door*

"Geeez! Kids these days are always in a hurry." my mom murmured.

As I was close to the gate of the house, someone approached me.

"Miss Xavi, your father ordered me to take you to school." he said.

"Waaah! Benjamin, please don't! Tell my dad I can take care of myself. Plus, didn't we agree that we should still stay lowkey even if I already agreed to move here in Liamond City? I don't want anyone to know my family's background. That would cause too much trouble and attention for all of us." I told Benjamin.

"If you say so, Miss Xavi."

"Don't worry. I know how to commute and it's not that far! Bye, Benjamin! Tell dad I love him and he should keep his promise!"

*I hurriedly run and went to the bus station*

Oh, right! You're wondering who Benjamin is. Benjamin is our chauffer and my father's loyal assistant for so many years. He's like part of our family now. He's a really good-looking middle-aged man. He is tall with a well-defined body. Benjamin has a dark brown hair and always goes for the classic pomapdour hairstyle. His serious demeanor makes him look so cool. *winks*

As I was walking towards the gate of my new school, I inhaled deeply and whispered to myself, "This is it, Xavi! New city. New home. New school. New life. Let's enjoy this!"

Guard: You're very early, Miss. May I see your ID?

*shows the ID*

"Yeah! I wanted to roam around the campus." I said.

"Hmm. So you're a new student. Okay, it's good that you're early. You have all the time to enjoy and familiarize the school. Have fun and welcome to Liamond City High School!" the guard said.

"Thank you, Guard!" I replied.

"Oh! There is another student who is always early too. You might bump into him but it's best not to mind him." the guard informed me.

"Hmm. O--kay! Bye, guard! Thanks again!"

I didn't really mind the last thing that the guard said because I was in awe when I walk passed the gate and saw the school. It exceeded my expectation. It's just a public school but it gives off a very powerful aura as you enter and the view looks like a setting from a shoujo-fantasy fiction manga.

This school is called Liamond City High School (LCHS). It's a public high school but it's notable for being able to have students who can compete and shaken the prominent and top leading school of the whole country, Black Cross University (BCU).

My dad actually wanted me to go to BCU but I told him it would contradict to what we have agreed about staying lowkey.

I was searching for an ideal public school that I can go to in the internet and Liamond City High School caught my attention. It gives off a countryside vibes with the very nice scenic view and that's mainly the reason why I chose it.

As I was strolling around, I'm sketching and taking down notes of all the parts of the campus. Also, I'm trying to find the best hide spot in this school. Why?

As a person who loves staying lowkey, I love being alone most of the time, but I still do have friends since I'm an outgoing introvert. ¯(ツ)/¯

I passed by the big gymnasium, the cafeteria, the wide green field, the school's mini park, the wonderful garden, and the school building.

"Hmmm. I think it's time to familiarize the different rooms inside the school building." i told myself

As I was walking towards the school building's entrance door, I noticed there was still an area at the back of the building I haven't gone to. I walked towards it and was surprised.

It looked like an abandoned small old building. The big trees are almost covering the old building and the weeds are of knee-length. Under one of the tree is a small stone bench and table. It can hardly be seen because of all the weeds and trees covering it.

"JACKPOT! NEW HIDEOUT ACQUIRED! I'll just stay here before first period starts, and I don't really want to attend the school opening ceremony anyway. Also, I bet no one has discovered this place since it looks haunted." I mumbled to myself.

I hurriedly sat down on the stone bench and placed my bag on the table. I grabbed my phone and wireless earphone, played a mellow music and started reading the new chapter of my favorite comic called, "I Suddenly Became a King One Night."

I was giggling and smiling when suddenly I noticed a shadow. I turned my back and saw a very tall guy. I couldn't manage to see his face clearly since it was against the light.

"Uhmmm. Excuse me? Do you need something?" I asked.

"Yeah! I need something." he replied.

"Uhhh what is it?" I asked again.

"*I want your butt to *------"

"WHAT?! YOU WANT MY BUTT?! YOU PERVERTED GUY!FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, AND I GET HARASSED LIKE THIS! MAMA MIAAAAA!" I exclaimed.

I pointed my finger at him and said, "You! If you ever do something to my butt, I swear I'm going to let you wish you never had a butt. "

I grabbed my stuff and hurriedly went to the school building. "I will let you off this time! Don't come near me again! AND THAT IS MY PLACE, YOU HEAR?!" I shouted while walking hurriedly and looking at the guy whose face I can't see clearly.
