The End of this Life
Screams echoes through the lands.
Sound of metal scraping each other can be heard
Soon the smell of blood fills the air.
The Demons and Humans we're engaged in a fierce battle at a plains down south.
At a camp near the battlefield

SAM! The west flank has been breached!

Swiftly, Ren gathered men and went to reinforce a flank, while Sam with his Elite Guards went to the frontlines.
The frontlines wasn't faring any better than the west flank, and was just about to fall when Sam arrived.

(The soldiers are losing mana way to quickly, if things get worse, we'll have to retreat!)
Sam then ordered his Elites to get in position for a charge, this would be the one that will decide victory or defeat.
He shouted loudly, that followed with the roar of the soldiers.
The chaos from the middle, inspired the other flanks and followed.
The charge that seemed successful further enhanced their moral.

Continue! Hold on and we'll win!
From the hundreds of thousands of soldiers and demons, only ten thousand on each side remained.
Victory was right within their grasps, until...
A demon general under the control of the demon king came.
From the shouts of hope and valour, became screams of agony and despair.

Just as they were arguing the demon general has annihilated the soldiers behind them.

As soon as he threw Ren, the demon general caught up to him.
The demon general pulled back his club, for a wide swing, and hits his back.
Sam was sent flying, landing a few meters infront.

(...I managed to block it with mana last second. If not, I would have died immediately!)

(There's still quite a few soldiers retreating...)

(Everyone's dying because of me...D@nm it.)
Sam grits his teeth and shouts.
Sam Lux (26)
YOU D@MN MONSTER! COME AT ME!
Sam taunted the general in hopes that it'll only target him.
The demon general enraged, rushed towards Sam and fought him to the death.
Miraculously, after a battle that lasted for hours he slew the demon general, but with serious wounds and depleted mana, there was nothing he could do than wait for his death.

After a short while, he closed his eyes and had perished.
