...Yvonne's POV......

I was looking at myself at the body size mirror... my hair is nicely tied... you can also see my perfect body because of the fitted long gown I'm wearing...

*knock... knock... knock...*

three knocks I heard on the door and I left in front of the mirror...

"My dear, are you ready? The party will start soon..." my mom ask after she open the door of my room

"Yeah, i was just waiting..." i look at my phone waiting if there's any message or call but there's none "---nothing, let's go?" i ask my mom and walk away from the suite first

It hurts to think that he don't care about me anymore... to think that I'm just a stranger to him, is like i wish i die already

I wipe the tears that runs in my cheek and sigh... i open the door and see the vast venue where the party was being held, There are many people here who I think are fellow business tycoons as well

I greet them with a smile on my face ... I'm used to this ... because my parents raised me to be perfect, they hold my life so I have no choice but to follow them... for them they don't think of me as a child ... because I'm just a puppet to them, puppet that will do everything they command ... I am appreciated because I have an advantage... but sooner or later they will just abandon me, just like toy which is of no use

"Hello beautiful lady" someone greet's me... he's handsome with his black tux, his hair is also fixed and he is also taller than me

"Hello too..." i answer

"You're The Heiress of the Legaspi, am I right?" he ask

"Yes, and you're--?"

"Ohh where my manner.... by the way, I'm Adiel Jasper --- Adi for short" he said

"Which family are you in?" I ask again

"None" he answer that made me confused

"What, none?"

"I'm not from the rich family... I'm just here because my dad is a secretary of Chairman Lewis, he invited me" he explain

"Ohh..." i said

We even talked about things, different and I was happy to talk to him... i feel like i don't need to lie... that i can be true to him...

"By the way... Why are you alone? I've been looking at you for a while and the sadness in your eyes ... it seems like your problem is too big ..." he ask... I Don't know why but i feel comfortable with him

"It's just nothing... I'm just bored" i said

"Ohhh~ Want to sneak out?" he said with a playful tone

"How? maybe later my parents will suddenly find me and then I'm gone..." I answer with hesitation

"Don't worry, you have me... what? game? he assured

"Tsk... fine" i said and then he reached my hand and hold it...

I don't know why but i don't feel scared but i feel assured, it's kinda weird for me because never in my life I break a rule or sneak in a event before, it's my first time doing this and i feel happy and excited

I don't care if later mom and dad will nag at me, i just want to be free, just for this day...

...YVONNE'S POV......

"Meeting you is so nice... i hope that we can meet again next time" i said while smiling at Adi

"So... what now? it's a goodbye?" he ask with a bit sadness in his eyes

"Maybe?" i answer

"Dear, you're just here? we're looking for you, you make us worry" my mother suddenly approache us with a worrying eyes

"Mom... I'm sorry, i was....... in the balcony, i was bit bored... ohh by the way he's A-- huhh? where is he?"

"Who, Yvone?" my mom ask. I look around to see if he's just around me but he's gone

"Nothing Mom, i was tired... can i go to my suit?" i ask

"Sure honey, rest well" she said then leave me

I look around once again hoping that he would show up but he didn't. I was walking toward my Suit, i was looking at my shoe remembering what we-- Adi, do

It was so fun, we go to garden and at the rooftop

I was walking when i bump into a guy, i just say sorry without looking the guy then walk again

"I remember that i didn't bid my farewell" an a familiar voice speak that made my head up and turn the guy

"Adi!?" i surprisingly said, co'z i didn't know that i would see Adi here, i thought he already leave

"Don't look at me like that, I'm not a ghost you know" he sarcastically said

"Haha.... it's nice to see that you didn't leave without saying goodbye to me" i said while looking at his face, i feel somehow to remember 'him'... until now he still don't--- whatever... Move on Yvone, Move on... forget about him...

"Heyy, you ok?" Adi ask

"Huhh? did you say something? I'm sorry i was spacing out" i apologize

"No it's fine... i was just saying that---"

"Adi! Faster, we're leaving!" someone said that made Adi stop from what's he going to say

"I guess i need to say my goodbye here... bye, Yvone... 'We will meet again, I'm sure of it... Bye...' " he said then leave without waiting for my respond

It's been a while since the event happened, and until now i still don't have news about Adi,

"He said that we will meet again, how can he be so sure of it?" i ask myself, my thoughts were cut when my secretary open the door

"Madam, the board member were in the meeting room now, you're the only one whose not" my secretary---

Shianna, remind me

"Yeah... tell them I'm on my way" i said while fixing my hair

I was walking in the hallway, all the employee i passing were bowing to me to give respect

Holding the knob, i have a deep sigh before opening it, i just walk with my usual poker face then sit to my chair, before i sit all the board members were standing then when i sit they sat too

The meeting start, and they present their different agenda's and proposal, i just sit on my chair and listen to their proposal and ask if i don't understand something and ask a question to evaluate or to test if their proposal are good

The meeting last for 6 hours, and it's already evening, i was so hungry, i didn't eat anything, from breakfast to lunch. I stretch my arm infront of the glass wall ot the meeting room where you can see the good view of the city

"Hey beautiful lady" a familiar voice speak that made me turn my head

"Adi?" i speak like almost a whisper

"Don't happy to see me?" he said with a playful tone... It really Adi, the guy I'm always waiting...
