Iwaizumi's pov

*beep beep*

This annoying sound again? I opened my eyes after hearing the alarm, and turned it off. I'm already buzzing with that alarm, it just pops up for me every morning.

After I turned off the alarm, I looked at the time and.. shit I'm late again. Suddenly I got up and ran to the bathroom to take a shower. I took a short shower and dressed myself immediately.

After getting dressed, I grabbed my bag and grabbed an apple from the refrigerator and then got out of the house and ran to school. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my mom.

When I got to school, I immediately ran to the classroom and opened the door. All my classmates suddenly looked at me and I realized that the class had already started.

"Good morning, Iwaizumi-kun.", Said the teacher and approached me. "You're late."

I bowed and apologized. "I'm sorr-" "Again.". The teacher cut me off, making me bite my tongue out of embarrassment. "Be late one more time and I'll put you in detention.". I nodded.

After hearing the word 'detention', my classmates made an 'oooh' sound and I was feeling like I was on top of a mountain and all people's attention was on me. How embarrassing. "Go to your seat.". I immediately went to my seat and the teacher continued to discuss the lesson.

After the lesson, the teacher left the room and.. here we go. "What's up, sir late again!" Hanamaki approached me and put his arm around me. "I know. It's embarrassing." He laughed and I rolled my eyes. I didn't say a word. "What? Aren't you gonna say anything?" "Shut up" I replied and looked outside the window.

"Damn bro, you're being this emo boy again." He said and pulled his chair closer to me and sat down. "Do you want a girlfriend?" He asked. "No." "Why not?" "Because no?". I glared at him and he laughed. "How about a boyfriend.".

I stood up and left Hanamaki sitting next to my desk. "You didn't answer me!" He said and ran towards me. "Matsun and I are going to take a look behind the school building, wanna join us?" I looked at him and nodded. "Sure.".

We left the classroom and walked to the back of the school, where there are many trees. Many people say that there are mysterious things going on there, but I don't believe it. It's just a small normal forest for me, no big deal.

"Is this your first time going there?" Matsun asked me. "Yeah, is this your first time also?" I asked them. They nodded and opened the fence to the forest. We entered the yard and walked through the many trees.

"The size of this forest is big, it looks small when you look at it from a distance." Makki said. "I heard that there are ghosts in here." Matsun spoke. "Dude, don't scare us like that." Makki replied and I just kept walking with them. "I'm not scaring you, jeez".

"Come on, let's go back to school, we might get lost here" Makki said. "Are you scared?" I asked him. "No- why would I be scared.". We just kept walking and walking until we saw a tree that looked strange. It's big and looks old.

"Iwaizumi." Makki called me. "What?" "I dare you to climb that tree" he said, smirking. "Wha- no way, that tree is like 35 to 40 meters tall. That would be impossible." I replied, not wanting to climb the tree. "Oh come on, don't be so boring" Makki said. "Fine. But we're going back to school after I climb the tree" "okay sir!".

I walked closer to the tree and looked around. "It's so huge" I whispered to myself and I hold on to the parts of the tree and slowly climbed it. "Be careful!" Matsun said and walked over to the tree. "I'm gonna catch you if you fall!" "Okay-"

After a few minutes, I looked up, and I realized I was close to the top of it. I climbed faster and I was already on the top. With the oversized tree, there is a large space in the middle. I climbed all the way to the top and stepped into space. "I made it!" I said and looked below. This tree was so tall that I was stunned when I saw Makki and Matsun below.

"What does it look like there!?" Makki shouted. "It's amazing!" I replied back. I looked at the hole in the middle and I went there, and peeked. I saw a light at the very bottom and I got curious on what's in there. "Okay, you can go down now!!" Makki shouted. "Hold on, I'm gonna check on something!!" I shouted back and climbed down on the hole.

The hole was pretty small, but I still fit in. Minutes have passed and im still climbing down on that hole. I looked up at the hole, and saw that I was far from the top.

"Hey, Iwaizumi! Are you still there!?" Makki shouted But I didn't heard it because I was inside the hole.. in the tree. I looked down and saw that I was close to the light.

What if this is a shortcut for people who climbs this tree. I'll probably meet Makki and Matsun when I get down.

After a few minutes, I notice that I was too close to the ground so, I let go of the wood and I fell outside, where the light is.

When I fell, I lay down on the floor and closed my eyes because I was dazzled by the sunlight. "Guys?" I asked if Makki and Matsun was here but I got no response.

Suddenly I stood up and opened my eyes. I look around and notice that the big tree is not here and Makki and Matsun are not here either.

If the tree is not here, where did I come from?

Where is the hole in the tree?

I'm still in the forest, but the tree really isn't here. This is so strange..

As I looked around, I noticed that there was a pathway here to ... To where?

Since I'm here, I just followed the pathway and hopefully take me to a place where someone can take me back to school.

As I walked down the pathway, I noticed that someone seemed to be looking at me. So I looked around and I saw a.. a soldier? There was a soldier behind a tree, watching me.

"S-sir?-" "Stay right where you are and don't move a muscle!" He shouted. I was shocked and just obeyed his command.. I'm quite nervous too..

"Where did you come from?" He asked. "I'm- I came from the- the tree?-" He cut me off and whistled loudly. After he whistled, other soldiers suddenly appeared and two came behind me. They handcuffed my hand and blindfolded me, and then dragged me to.. I don't know.

"Wait! What's happening? Where are you taking me!?" I managed to ask but they ignored me and kept dragging me to I don't know!

Then a few minutes later, they stopped walking and removed my blindfold. I looked around and this place was dark. And this place looks like.. a prison.

"Sir, what is really going on?? Can you still tell me why you are imprisoning me?" I asked, almost screaming. "Don't act dumb here. We know you're a human and We will detain you so that you will not tell anyone that you have been here."

"Anyways, lock him up already.". They removed the handcuffs from my hand and pushed me inside the cell. They closed and locked the gate and even before I could react, they left and I was here, confused as f*ck.

I observed the place first and rested for a while.

What did the guard mean when he said 'we know you are a human', Isn't he human too?

I have to escape here .. no matter how long I can escape, I will really run away..
