I said all that to him without a second breath. I mean literally without letting him speak. And he was listening to me with all the patience in the world! He was just staring at me and muttering something. I stopped for a minute. And gave a him 'whats that's look. He laughed a little and said again," you sure are complaining girl. I mean you don't even know me!" He raised his eyebrows and continued," still you complain much more than my girlfriend. This thing suddenly hits me and I laughed. And I'm sorry about that,but you haven't told me why are you saying this much to me?" He asked

With mischievous looking eyes.

I got little worried after he asked me this question. I mean I was barely know this person. I felt very embarrassed somehow. But still I looked straight in to his eyes and asked him,"will you please be my boyfriend? A fake boyfriend I mean. I want to buy some time for getting out of this situation and I desperately need some help! Will ya?"

"Whoov! Whoov! Take it easy girl! You can't just make someone your boyfriend, even if it's for fake! You understand? It's dangerous!

You can handle it very well. Just trynna talk with your parents. And things will get sorted!" He looked somehow little panicked.

" No. I can't. They have already fixed my blind dates with some guy which I don't like. And I know it's dangerous, but that's why I'm asking you." I said.

"Okay! Let me get that straight! Perhaps You have crush on me?" He asked.

" Oh please no, don't do that. It's only because I know you, and more than that I trust you, and last but not the least you have a girlfriend! So there's no threat for me! And I have already checked on your background. Sorry for that! You are 'not a stranger but a stranger to me'." I said.

"What the.. you have done background check on me? And you are simply saying it with your face straight?" He angered!

"See I know I'm wrong.. I apologize for what I did, but just listen to me first. "

" I'm all ears! Explain it. By the way even if you did background check still you can't predict if the person is good. And I must tell you that even you trust me, I don't trust you, nor I know you. So be aware with your words. Whats you going to tell me decides , what I'll do. Now start it!" He said so firmly.

"Mom, Dad this is my boyfriend!" I said when I took him to visit my parents. He's been smiling like idiot. I know he's afraid right now! He's quite cute guy actually! Obviously no falling for him! But you know, i can buy some time because of him!

My mother was shocked and dad was furious. My sister was been watching this with having some popcorn in her hand like,'lol! Finally this moment!'

It took three minutes to them to accept this. As I know their reaction would be, it's exactly the same! Even my sister's! I mean she's been waiting for this so long! Do you think she wants me to get married? Nope! Not at all! But previously she's always seems to putting me with extra "" blind dates! Cause? She just wanted know how I'll avoid it and she can get to see the fun.

And how I managed to get an approval from "him" for this?

That day ..............

" See I know made some kinda mistake,but can you relax first? See, don't be agitated and listen to me calmly!" I said.

" Yup! I'm ! But please be fast with words! I don't have whole night to spend with you!" He said grumpily.

"Not like I want to, but this is just important phase of my life!

And I seriously don't want to involve you in this mess. But I don't have any other choice.

I first noticed you one week ago at cafe codechoco ,when you helped that girl anonymously that day! I know at that very moment, you are perfect candidate for my problem. Ever since, I started observing you! But you can't recognize it until today. I'm sorry for that but if you don't help me I've to marry someone with whom I don't want to spend my life! "But can't you ask your any friends for this?" He.

"They know every of my friends very well. So they don't stand a chance. But I promise that I'll keep this thing secret. No one will know except my parents!" I said.

" Once you said you would listen to me, you should have agreed in your mind already! So I dare to guess that." I said.

"You guarantee that no one will be known?" He.

"Yes! Don't worry! And you will not do it for free. I'll help you with your channel at my level. I mean I don't want to take your favor for free. I will compensate you for this."

" I don't know what to say! I'm totally exhausted and feeling like idiot. I don't know what to do either. May be this is just a dream. When I'll woke up next morning, nothing will be happened. May be I'll help you or may be not. I want some time to decide. After listening to you something I realize that you need my help, and as you said I can't just ignore you. Bye for tonight."

He left after that. He had my number saved in his mobile. And as expected after two days after he called me to say yes! And afterwards I eagarly called my parents to set up this meet.

We were eating the dinner silently. There was no sound, no laugh nothing but chewing voice from our gums!? Don't know what was I thinking! But still I want to hear something form my father and mother.

So I decided to break the ice. That's what he also thought at the same time. We both acted on impulse at the same time.

"Er....... You go first" he.

"Th- thanks! Mom, do you want some roti?" I asked what I wasn't gonna ask.

Mom,"since when did you started caring about me,huh?"

Got hurt by this, I shushed.

After dinner, we sat in our common room. Silence! A huge silence. I can't accept this and turned to him. Fortunatly he got signal and turned to dad.

" Uncle, I want to thank you for inviting me to dinner."

" No need! It wasn't me who invited you in first place."

"Stop it! Do you want to only guy frightened?"

"Just saying the facts! Not like I'm disapproving him right away!"

"You just don't have to talk anything.Let me handle this one."

" How many choices do you think we have according to our daughter's behaviour?"

"That's the only reason I'm shutting ya off ya bullhead!"

Mother and father dearly conversing about,, how I can be not marriage material and still have to marry me to someone at the same time, not knowing we could hear them clearly.

"Uh-hu" I made little noise. Coming to the posture straight, mom smiled at him and said enthusiastically, " what exactly you do beta? And when will you take her away from us?"

"What? This was not the one decided!"

"Don't intervene. I want her to marry before she changes her decision."

"Oh yes!"

"Aunt, actually we decided not to get married yet. She wants to pursue her job and I want to support her for that. I actually want all of us to support her" he said it like in one breathe.

" He just betrayed you with one sentence." My dear sister adding oil to the fire.

And this was the beginning of the war which going on until I said, " oh man! See what is the time? Don't you think you should leave now?"

"Yes babe! Thank you for reminding me.

"uncle, aunt I should totally leave now!"

he exclaimed.

"Ok! ya can. but don't you dare to ditch my daughter." my father said in raged voice.

"oh don't worry beta! just go now" mom.

"I will go to drop him out of the door" I spoke in Indian hospitality.

"I was afraid there of your father of course! It was awkward, but your mom handled it" Deva said.

"moms are always the best to save situations!" I replied.

"yah! but I should leave now! I'm going to meet Gauri ri8 now. b-bye!! and thanks for the meet. It's going to help when I meet Gauri's parents."he said.

"Totally! see I said I'll compensate you!" I winked. and then he went to Gauri. and me to my home.
