"Sheriff ,my sister has gone missing for two days."

I looked at the young woman in front of me  with  doubt and surprise at the same time. The girl was breathtakingly  beautiful.

"Your name miss?"

"Julian.Julian Rickman."

"May i ask Julian , why after 2 days? Why didn’t you come earlier? "

she gave me cold look.

"Can i have a glass of water?"She asked dryly not answering my question.

"Sure!have a sit please"

Then I ordered my subordinates to fetch water for her. I began to observe the girl's appearance.

pale skin,as if she had not been out in the sun for a long time.

A look full of innocence.She was wearing V neck full sleeve sweater & Light wash jeans.

Then the locket she was wearing immediately stole my attention.Beautifully written her name

Inlaid with small stones.2/3 stones were missing, still it managed to look wonderful.These are not commonly found here.

"Miss Your locket is so pretty.  Where can i get it if i want one for my daughter? "

The girl looked up a little startled.

"From cairo—

" From cairo?!" My voice raised.  Genuinely surprised.

Our conversation interrupted as Someone brought water for her.The girl started drinking water very anxiously.

Little by little her hands were shaking. Why? Out of fear? Fear of what?

Julien finished drinking water and started talking with her head down.

"I went to Cairo to study architecture.few years back I ordered 2 lockets for me & my twin sister Rayan & gifted her.In this semester break i wanted to surprise my sister.So i flew home from cairo without letting my sister know.But when I came home, I could not find her anywhere. I didn’t realise she actually left home until today."

" Sir i really need to find her.She is my family & i Don't have anyone other than her.Our parents abandoned us at a very early age."

I felt pretty sorry for Julian.

" I will do everything to find your sister.I promise you that my child "

                        ~2 days later~

I managed to find Rayan.Unfortunately DEAD,2 km away from her own house.That poor girl  was strangled, stabbed furiously  numerous time & then buried.

At the police station Julian was sitting in front of  me glumly.She was very upset after seeing the postmortem report.

The sleeves of the shirt were rolled up to the elbows,lots of mosquito bite marks on hands.

"Do you have any suspects, miss julian? " I asked her softly.

Her eyes lit up.Tears welled up in her eyes.

"Miles. Her ex boyfriend.Miles  used to tease her a lot & mentally tortured her after the breakup.He forced her to do things. You should arrest him."

" Thank you miss julian.I'll remember that. I have almost solved this case. I just need few more evidence. Till then take care of yourself julian."

                        ~ 1.5 days later~

" Why did you arrest me?"Julian asked violently.

"For the crime of killing your own twin sister" I replied coldly.

"And Where is your evidence? " she hissed.

"I have few actually.first & very important point. Your sister's locket disappeared  with your sister.Did you notice miss?"

"And this is your evidence? " Julian chuckled." Rayan could have lost it anywhere, anytime!"

"No dear, I  got the news Rayan used to wear it all the time.Before answering that question,  tell me one thing  child.Why didn’t you bother to inform your friend that you had flew to home safely?  Why you didn’t pick up their phone calls? Why you didn’t reply to Their messages? They even Don't know that your sister went missing.Why?"

"I was so tired to do all those work. Plus,how do you even expect me to do those? I was mentally devastated! " she startled.

"Well,Thats bullshit.Let me answer that for you.Rayan was never killed because SHE  STANDING IN FRONT OF ME! You are Rayan. You killed julian & now you are pretending to be her. You are the one who stole her locket & wearing it now. So that no one knows you are Rayan.You are Drug addicted. you have marks of injection all over your hands.You had fell in serious  money crisis because of your drug addiction. You needed money.But you knew that your sister wouldn’t allow you money for your such ornery  work.So you murdered her."

Julian aka Rayan collapsed on the ground.

"And lastly we rescued your last conversation with you. She confirmed you that she was going to visit home.But you lied & completely hide that part too.case closed.
