In the year 2060, in the 21st century, the world was so peaceful that we could hear people's laughter, children running all around the park, couples dating and kissing, celebrating, and working. We really thought that there was nothing gonna happen.

                                   Red roses too"]

Not so long, the dark clouds suddenly covered the bright sky, the wind blew strongly, thunder rumbling in the middle of the day. A boy chasing his ball that had blown away by the strong wind. The ball got stuck at the railing of the bridge. When he tried to pick it up, he heard the sound of a beast growling under the bridge. He's curious where that sound came from. He climbs the railings and looks down. Suddenly, something grabs him down—he falls—he screams aloud, but no one hears him because of the loud music at the park. And it was a song of Louis Armstrong - "What a Wonderful World" remixed with loud bass.

["I see them bloom

For me and you"]

Not quite long, the boy's scream stops, and the water turned red with blood. And suddenly, a big hand grabs the railings and a creature jumps.

["And I think to myself

What a wonderful world"]

The music is still playing. The people started screaming and running. Monsters chasing and eating them. Blood spits around, cars crashing the street and exploding, stores and buildings destroyed.

["I see skies of blue

And clouds of white

The bright blessed day

The dark, sacred night

And I think to myself"]

A woman running and trying to hide at the corner between the two buildings, she sits down behind the large trash bin. She's panting and exhausted. She looked scared and cried. A monster who chased her stops by—looking for her, and she covers her mouth. After a few seconds, the sounds of a guns' shots from the distance make the monster distract.

The music is still on, playing.

["What a wonderful world"]

The news has become viral on the internet and on TV. People try reaching their relatives out there on the phone, worrying, and crying while contacting them. The buildings and the streets are all destroyed, and the whole city has fallen. The scout and armies were aiming and shooting the monsters.

["The colors of the rainbow"]

"As you can see, the city is destroyed, many people died and some of them were saved." The news broadcast live on TV, and on the internet, everywhere.

["So pretty in the sky"]

"The buildings were collapsed by explosions." broadcasted by the reporter on TV.

["Are also on the faces"]

"There are creatures, a monsters eating people." The screams of terror are loud and clear on broadcast.

["Of people going by"]

"The armies and scouts still aiming the monsters." The broadcasting continues.

People were panicking and chatting and texting on their phones. The governments were declaring and gave a speech on live on screen.

"We will lock down the whole city or this country to make everyone save, and people will evacuate immediately," the president declared on the screen. " We will declare to lock down!"

"[I see friends shaking hands

Saying how do you do

They're really saying

I love you

I hear babies cry

I watch them grow

They'll learn much more

Then I'll ever know

And I think to myself

What a wonderful world

Ooh, yes. " ]

The music speaker crashed down by the monster's horrifying large hand, and the music stops.

It growls, shows its sharp teeth—drooling of blood. So ugly and a horrible shape with sharp spikes on its back, disfigured creature with long arms and sharp nails. Head like human but no eyes, nor hair—has pointed ears. Suddenly, not far from this monster's spot, a man down on the floor trembling in horror when he saw the monster. He got panicked, and he stumbled a can—making sound that got its attention quickly. It rapidly approaches to where the man is and jumps to the air to crash him with its claw. The man screams, closing his eyes in terror, but in a sudden nothing happen to him—he opens his eyes—the monster was stuck dead by a blade. An unusual blade that someone stabs the monster to death from behind. As the monster knocked down, a weird–looking stranger behind it appears holding the blade. The man was shocked he couldn't move, he just stared at his savior standing in front of him—he just couldn't believe what he saw.

Chapter 1

Thunder rumbling, cold wind blew so strong and heavy rain, lightning strikes the ground.

A stormy night, bad weather makes people awake. A beautiful house becomes creepy because of the typhoon, destroying the houses' yards.

There was a house farther from neighborhoods. The only house of gossip, the Montellano family. They called the house of "crazy-genuises."

"...tonight we have a heavy rain and strong wind... Typhoon strikes on the northern part of Cebu...", a broadcast continues on TV and a sound of flipping paper.

At the living room. There's a child, a little girl, sitting on the floor sketching on her drawing pad. A little boy at the other room played his toy car. A mother on the sofa focuses on reading and writing documents. Papers are all over the center table. The TV continues to broadcast.

" Mom, can I have these papers?" the little girl asked.

"No, Kaina, I need these papers. Go ask your twin brother, Kaino, he has a lot of it, "the mother said and continued her writings.

The girl, Kaina, remains silent, looking at her mother's work.

" What is it, Kaina?" she asked and glanced at her. "I can't give you these papers, I told you. I'm using it right now, understand?" she continued. "Mommy is busy," she added.

Kaina sits back on her current spot. Meanwhile, she stands up and walks into her brother's room.

The mother continues concentrating on her work. There's someone who passes through at her back and thought it was Kaina. She looks back, and no one's there. Suddenly, a loud noise rumbling at the hallway into the room makes her startle.

"Children, stop playing around, I'm working here. Please be quiet!"she said at loud. They're all become silent in a minute.

And again, a loud sound rumbled at the children's room. The kids laugh at loud. Kaina screams.

" No! Stop!..."Kaina shouted and made a loud foot step.

"Children, be quiet, I said!", she look back and yelled. " I'm working here, have respect for me, ok?!"

The children quite a bit. She continues. A man's voice murmuring at the room that you can't barely hear it. She noticed it but she ignored it, she thought they were watching a movie. She continued reading and flipping the papers. Suddenly, she found a document about the record of her ex-husband's murder case three years ago.

And again, the children scream at loud. A loud rumbling sound everywhere in the room, big foot steps, and a sound of running. Something strange this time.

"No, stop...sto...!!" Kaina shouted. "MOoom...Mo...!" she screamed.

The mother got annoyed and lost her temper. She stands up so mad and walks into the room. She madly opened the door and an unexpected thing happened.

When she open the door, Kaina and Kaino hide at the corner of their bed, hugging each other and crying. A man standing at the front of the children holding a flipping knife and a rope. Wearing a black coat and a mask all over his head and face. Grabbing Kaino's left arm and Kaina trying to hold her twin brother tightly. The mother was shocked when she saw her children and suddenly grabbed the man. She twists the man's arm, the knife he's holding drops to the floor, and releases Kaino's arm. She put his arm to his back and pushed his head down to the floor.

"Kaina, get your brother out of here. Go to your 'hachide achout' (a code means 'hide out') and lock the door!" she said at loud. "Go hurry!"

The children run out to the hallway. The man is trying to struggle and fight against her. And she strikes her on his neck, and he passes out. The lightning strikes and thunder rumblings.

The children scream again in the living room. She runs quickly to them. And when she saw Kaino was already captured by another man while Kaina was holding Kaino's arm.

The mother picks up the gun at the top of the emergency bell and pushes the bell. The signal started to make a loud sound. She loads the bullet , points to the man, and prepares her finger to pull the trigger.

"Put my son down, release my children!" she said, angry and gritting her teeth. "Or I'll shoot your head!"
