Inspector's Pov

Inspector Guzman: You see miss Santos, we are trying to find the culprit of this murder so that Justice should be rightfully serve, and this is not just anyone whose been killed, this is your fiance!

Ari: I know and I told you, I'm telling the truth

Inspector Guzman: Your statement is constantly changing and that isn't helping at all, if you want to prove your innocence then tell me the truth!, Where were you on May 15 in between 4pm until 12am??

Ari: I already told you I was at home, I stayed because I'm not feeling well and besides where else I might be at those late night

Inspector Guzman: Are you sure?

Ari: Yes it is and since I already answered your questions I'm assuming this interview is done!

Inspector Guzman: *deep breath* okay, thank you for your cooperation

Ari: Thank you inspector

It's been 5 weeks since the discovery of the murder of Ander Torres and I'm still struggling to find the missing pieces of my investigation that might help point out the real suspect of this crime. I already interviewed all the person's of interest including his girlfriend. I know I'm almost near in revealing the truth

*Phone ring

Guzman: Hello?

Officer 1: Hello sir, we already got the cctv footage of the abandoned building near the beach where the victim was found and also another cctv footage that will point out the real responsible of this crime.

Guzman: Great, I'm on my way

*End call

Before anything else, I'd like to apologize to everyone who supported my last story and up until now I haven't finished writing it due to some personal reasons, I am promising you that after I finished writing this story I will as well continue writing the work that I haven't finish yet. Third person's Pov

Ari came back to her senses with an aching head and blurry vision that soon become clearer and clearer, She then realised that her hands are covered in cold blood as well as her clothes. Her hands were trembling in fear but she managed to stand up and with horror, she saw her fiance beneath covered in blood and seems like it wasn't breathing anymore. Ari shouted and keeps calling his fiance's name while shaking it's cold body hoping it will wake up, but minutes later still no response. Her mind then refreshed and recall what happened earlier and on how they ended up there that instantly made her decide to fled the scene right away.

*Flashback 1 year earlier*

Ari's Pov

While staring outside by the window, I admire how great the weather today is, The sun is up and everyone is as happy as the clouds. It then made me realise how lucky I am to have this kind of life, I already graduated in college and together with my boyfriend we own a business that is really growing. I am an only child and my parents already passed away when I was still in my College years though I miss them so much Ander is always by my side through my ups and downs that's why I'm still lucky. We were high school sweethearts and I can still recall how we met and that the feelings I have before is still the same as today.

I came back to reality when I felt a warmth embrace from behind

Ander: Hey baby, what are you looking up?

:Nothing babe it's just the weather today is so nice

Ander:Yes it really is, wanna go for a walk?

:As much as Id love to, Rebeka and Ramo are almost here and we need to prepare the lunch *light pinch the nose*

Ander: Oh shoot I forgot haha

:see haha so come on help me instead in the kitchen

after We put the cake that me and Ander baked, we heard the bell rang at the front door. I immediately do almost half run going to the door with excitement, Rebe is my best friend in highschool and she's like a sister to me. We haven't seen each other a while because after we graduated, Rebe and Ramo fled to Australia to be with their parents for a while. Ander and Ramo as well became friends since me and Ander became official as because ramo's sister is Rebe and he's like also hanging out with us together with Ander's cousin Luke. We then made a fun and great circle of friends

Rebe: OH MY GOSH ARIIIII I MISS YOU SO MUCH SISSY!!!

Ari: I MISS YOU TOO SO MUCH REBEEEE!! I AM SO GLAD TO SEE YOU AGAIN AFTER A VERY LONG TIMEE!!

Rebe: lol it's just almost a year Ari hahah it's not that long did you miss me that much?? hahahaha

Ari: of coursee I do hahah silly, let's get inside!

We then proceed to the dining table to eat and to chat more about us. I'm just glad my bestie is now back, I miss her so much. She's literally been there for me too and almost all of my most memorable days including how Ander courted me back then.

While at the dining table

Ari: So Rebe how's Australia so far? did you two had a great time over there?

Rebe: Yes sissy but we'd still prefer to be here, right Ramo?

Ramo: Ah yeah I-Its kinda boring in there but still we had a great time with our parents

Rebe: We didn't go out to party there since we don't have a lot of friends unlike here, which Is I really love because I have you guys

Ari: that's so cheesy Rebe hahah I didn't know going to Australia makes a person more sweeter hahah

Rebe: silly hahah, you know Ari when we were there I still recall all the great times we had specially when we were at the beach back then in summer right Ramo?

Ramo: yeap that was so fun

Ari: it really was hahah that was the first time I learned how to swim because of Ramo haha

Rebe: yeah and the time when Ander came with me at the lake, right Ander?

Ari: The lake? I didn't know there was a lake at that resort

Rebe: Yes they do and we had a great time there

Ramo: Uhm Btw why aren't Luke here Ander?

Ander: ah he said he'll gonna catch up to us later, he's still doing some paper works at his work

Ramo: wow that guy now knows the word "hardwork" haha

Ander: I guess he now does hahaha

The kitchen then was filled with laughter with Ramo and Ander's jokes and reminiscing the great time we had. Although I don't know why, but what Rebe told us about the lake made me curious.
