A brunette boy was speedily running down the streets. He was running after the bus that left just merely seconds ago , and the bus just still keeps going on, oblivious of the panting boy trailing behind

He shouts out of breath

He can't believe it he was so early to arrive at the bus stop and just went away to find the comfort room and pee. But when he came back, the bus was already slowing to go. He collided with a guy as he rushed, his eye glasses fell on the process. He helped him stand up and frantically patted the ground in search for his glasses causing for the bus to go further away

He reached the edge of the bus and pounded on it, praying that the driver would notice him. His legs are slowing down now and would give up any minute

He desperately shouts as he gathers his last bit of strength

At last he notices that the bus slowing down and gradually came to a stop. His legs were shaking but he continues to hurry up and entered the bus

He was mostly greeted with annoying looks from the passengers, but he just smiled, his glasses fogged, still panting and sweating from the run. He scanned his eyes around to look for a seat but it was all occupied and no one bothered to offer or share a seat so he just stood there and held for the handle

Minutes passed and his stop came. He still hurriedly speed walked through the school because you see, he was already running late. That's why he was desperately running for the bus a while ago

He then reached his classroom mid-lecture, bows down and quickly apologizes for his tardiness

Says the teacher, causing for his classmates to laugh and snicker

He slowing went to his seat back near the window. He chose this seat because he likes to daydream and stares up the sky

He was middle of finding out shapes of the clouds as he was interpreted by a crumpled paper hitting his forehead

He picked up the paper, thinking to throw it away when he heard a voice behind him whisper

He immediately uncrumple the paper and was surprised to see a split bubble gum inside it. It got sticky that some of it stuck to his hands so he threw it to the trash can near him

He heard a snort and breathly laughter beside him and he already knows who it is

Says the teacher loudly, causing the students look to their way

After reasoning the teacher Jungkook whispered again to his ear

The brunette replied back, a small blush crept to his face

The bell rang signalling the end of the first subject, so the brunette boy who desperately wants to wash his hands, quickly stood up to rush to the comfort room.

But as he neared the door, he didn't notice a foot was sticking out causing for him to trip over it and land face down on the floor with a soft 'oof'. His glasses surely dropped to the floor for the second time around

Laughter immediately erupted around and he felt his flush from embarrassment. He slowly turned to the owner of the foot and he wasn't surprised anymore. Of course it was Yugyeom, Jungkook's boyfriend

Yugyeom smirked, looking proud of himself that he made his friends laugh. After a while, Jungkook went out the room and approached his boyfriend . He stared at the commotion with a confused face, but let it go when he sees Taehyung

And that's how Kim Taehyung's day starts

Lunch time came and Taehyung already felt his stomach growling from being empty since last night. He stayed in his seat at their classroom, not even bothering to go to the cafeteria since he doesn't have money to buy himself food. He just got out three fish dumplings from his bag and devour the food like lighting. It was a simple lunch that even one won't be satisfied with it but in his case, he was thankful to have even just three pieces of dumplings. Those leftovers from diner that Taehyung work at, those were cooked foods but never had the chance to be served.

And he was very thankful to have a kind-hearted boss to lend him some food before going home at night, to giver dinner to his grandmother at night who was waiting for him at home, and some of it to pack for the next day. He would be very lucky if he would get more than just dumplings.

As he gulped last bit of dumpling, he opens his bag to find an empty water bottle. He must have forgotten to refill it since he was running late this morning, so he stood up from his seat sighing, and headed out from the classroom to the cafeteria. He actually didn't want to go there since he avoids meeting people abd getting into trouble. But since he's thirsty , he doesn't have a choice. He entered the cafeteria with his head hung low.

Few years ago was a bit different. He entered the school with a wide and friendly smile , showing everyone his slightly crooked teeth, he was happy student who finally had the opportunity to continue his studies.

Taehyung stopped going to school for two years since he can't afford it. But then, his grandmother persuaded him to continue and he entered the school with a scholarship. He really loves his grandma, so he decided not to disappoint her and do his best to not waste such opportunity

Whereas teachers admire him . The brunette is an intelligent student. He is good in math and science, while students feared this two subjects, he is confident with it, to the point he was always sent as representative at interschool quizzes and take home either gold or silver medal

But actually , it's not in these subjects that he has great passion, but his real genius brain works when he is in music or art class. It's in this that Taehyung really excels and pours his heart into. He doesn't own any musical instrument or either a paint brush in art classclass, but he diligently learned playing the piano and saxophone with the help of his friend YoongiYoongi, who's already a college student majoring in music, and just borrows art materials from their art teacher Namjoon.

Taehyung is a friendly person, but maybe the students weren't as friendly as he thought. He would try to smile at them and start up a conversation but ended up receiving raised eyebrows and back turned. Still, he was nice to everybody and is easily being the target laughingstock. Sometimes students laughed at him and he would also join to laugh thinking that they will like him, and not knowing that he is the one being laughed at. Students would always think;He is a genius at the same time weird.

Being weird to be hated by his schoolmates was one reason, another is of his social status. Everyone thinks of him as a poor kid and they were afraid to befriend him for it will ruin their reputation and would make them less cool. Who would hangout with an awkward kid who doesn't even own a damn phone.

After months and months of trying to earn a friend , Taehyung gradually gave up and accepted his fate of being a 'geek' as everyone called him. He's still nice and polite because that's what his grandma taught him, but stopped making eye contact to people, too fed up of rejection already. He would quickly fix his things after class and hurry to the diner where he works, go home after his shift at night and study, and would go to sleep very late. This is his daily routine and he's kinda contented

Back at the moment, Kim taehyung now walks hurriedly to the cafeteria's water dispenser to have a free drink with his head hung low, students occasionally bump his shoulder just to bother him. They would mockingly say 'oh sorry! ', and Taehyung would just smile and say it's okay.

As he neared the dispenser he adjusted his eyeglasses up his nose and slightly crouched down to refill his water bottle. He aligned the bottle's opening to the dispenser and waited for the water to fill his container. But even refilling his bottle could not be done in peace, when he felt another bump on his shoulder, causing for his grip on the bottle to tilt and water run down his tattered shoes.

Oh that reminds me! I have to buy super glue. He thought as he look down at his poor wet shoe, with his socked toe slightly poking out. Another fake sorry was heard and he turns back at the owner of the voice and mumbles 'it's okay'. It was actually just Yugyeom.

Yugyeom rolls his eyes in disgust and Taehyung returned to concentrate at his water bottle. the brunette was capping his water bottle when he heard a familiar voice.

He turned to face the owner of the voice. His eyes went wide when he sees Jungkook walking to his direction and cannot believe his eyes when the younger smiled. His face blushed and his mouth hung open while looking at the raven haired boy approaching and waving his hand.

He may or may not admire the raven haired beauty, but somehow, his face flushed and felt butterflies in his stomach.

he stuttered and waved back smiling and was about to say more when he saw Jungkook walk past him.

Confused, he look over his shoulder to see who Jungkook went and he realized it wasn't him that the younger had called out. Jungkook walked straight to his boyfriend Yugyeom and kissed him on the cheek and Taehyung stood there with his hand hanging mid air and face flushed not because of butterflies anymore but because of embarrassment.

Yugyeom saw it and smirked at the poor geek , muttering to him,

So Taehyung hurriedly capped his water bottle and speed walk back to their classroom with his head again hung low.
