Hi! I am Sophie. I am right now in my room laying on my bed. Everyone says that I have everything a girl can ever dream of and I never accepted that in public but I know that is kinda true. You must be thinking that I would have a perfect life and all the best things ever. Well, I used to have one but not anymore.

I guess you don't know anything about me at all. So, let me tell you something about myself. I am 20 years old. I am still studying in xxxx university. I don't have much friends but I have many admirers.

I am quite a friendly and am always to be happy person. I have three friends which are my closest people.

Till yesterday my life was perfect. But because of my parents everything ruined.

I was so happy with my bestfriend, with my life and they just broke everything.

I can't forgive them for what they did.

This is my friend Amy. She is also 20 years old. She also study in xxxx university. She is a fun and loving person. She really likes studying.

He is my friend (my childhood sweetie). I really love him. I spend all my time with him. He studies in a different college and is in last year of his course. He is 21 years old.

These are all my favourite people. I don't know what to do or what to think. I think taht you should also get to know my parents. But before you think anything bad about them, let me just tell you taht they are the best parents ever. Whatever is happening they would never let this happen but because of the situation they are helpless.

This is my dad. Trust me he is the best dad ever. He loves me a lot. He owns zzz company. It's not a very very big company but it's also not a small company.

This is my mom. She is a wonderful mom and cook. She is a housewife.

I am the only child on my parents. They love me a lot. When I was in university this morning, dad called me called me home urgently. When I came home, I got to know something that shook my whole world. I didn't knew what to do, what to think or what to feel.

My mom was comforting me. I was looking at my mom and dad faces don't knowing what to say. I can't say no to their faces. I am their daughter and I need to support them.

I said yes. I said yes to them. I said yes to ruining my life. I said yes to my worst dream. I said yes to marrying the cold and ruthless CEO. I said yes to be Mrs. CEO.

I was sleeping when that loud noise struck me up and I woke up and turn the alarm off and slept again for a while. After getting some energy and convincing myself to wake up, I get up from my bed and saw the time. I need to be in the university at 9 am and right now it's 8 am.

I know I will get late if I don't hurry up. And this will also give me a excuse to avoid my parents who are downstairs. I went to the washroom, got ready, and did a little work on my face, packed my bag and I was all ready to go.

I went downstairs. It was already 8:30 am. I just remembered that I forgot to tell you guys my parents name😅. So, my mom name is Karen and my dad name is Daniel.

I wished my parents good morning and they wished me back too.

'Come sit, Sophie. Breakfast is ready. Have some.' my mom said.

'Yeah..come child' my dad supported her.

'Mom, I would love to. But would you look at the time, I am getting late for my university' I said.

'But grab something to eat on the way. Bye' my mom said.

'Bye' my dad said.

'Okay. I will' I said

I am in my university waiting for my two stupid friends. They are late today also. I will tech them a lesson once they come. Suddenly—

Ring📞ring📞

I wondered who it might be. I picked up the call to see mom flashing on my phone screen. I quickly picked it up.

"What's wrong mom?" I asked.

"Nothing, we just wanted to tell you something" mom said

I could sense something, I understand that it was related to my marriage but I didn't showed my nervousness.

"What is it mom? Tell me clearly" I said

"Day after tommorow is your wedding" my mom said in a breath

I was shocked to hear this. All this was too much for me to take it.I couldn't take it anymore. I cut the call. My mom was calling for my name but I didn't care now. I don't know and I even wanna know what was gonna happen.

I am still a student. I can't let this news spread that I am married. I just wanted everything to go back to normal, I wanted that our company was working well and not going in any kind of loss so that we didn't had to ask any other company for help. But it was the opposite. Our company was in a great loss and we had to ask other companies for their help and there was only one company which agreed but in return they asked for my hand in marriage with their son. I don't wanna this news to spread that I am married. I just really don't want it.

Sophie POV

I just know what to do. I know that I had to save myself. I will tell my friends about this whole marriage thing. I just can't think that how can my parents put the marriage date so quickly. I hasn't even healed from one shock when I got another. I am trying to meet that man with whom my parents are planning my marriage.

First things first, I need to get that man number so that I can contact him. But the problem is from where will I get his number? I think I should go to his office. But will he even recognize me? I don't know anything but the only thing I can think now is doing myself a favor.

I am standing in front of this Mr. Whoever office. I don't know how will I meet him but I have to meet him. So, let's go.

The office is really beautiful. But first I need to find the reception. Oh, there it is.

Sophie went to the reception. A beautiful woman in her mid-30s was standing there. She greeted her with a smile.

"What can I do for you mam?" she said.

"I want to meet the CEO." Rose said.

"Oh, do you have any appointment mam?"

the receptionist said.

Rose shook her head as a sign of no.

"Then, I am really sorry. Our CEO is really busy and I am don't think you can meet him today" she said in a sweet tone.

Rose was in a dilemma. She didn't knew what to do. She was leaving the building when an idea struck her head. She thought that maybe he knew her name or something about her 'cause their marriage was fixed. She went back to the receptionist.

"Can you tell him that Rose is here to meet him" she asked hopefully.

The receptionist thought for a while and said "Maybe I can do that!"

She then called and informed him. She cut the call and said "Boss is waiting for you in his office. He also said that you can use his private elevator. His office is on the 2nd floor 3rd room to the left."

She said all that in a breath and Rose was surprised to see that she was still smiling and was not even short of breath. She must be a pro at it.

Rose went in the private elevator. Her heart was beating really fast. She was trying to cool down. She knocked the office door. A husky voice came from inside "Come in".

She went inside to find a man sitting on his chair facing the window. His back was facing Rose. Rose started to feel nervous. But she had to manage it. She needs to talk to him. so, she tried to cool down.

This is the male lead of this story. His name is Shawn. He is 23 years old. He is the CEO of yyy company. He is cold and ruthless but respects women.
