Chapter 1 - Recognize me?

I'm Rosie, I don't want to look at the past.. I only want to look forward to the outcomes of the future. But maybe everyone was right, all those people who said I was ugly, hopeless and only had GOOD GRADES...  just for once I want to prove them wrong! Because darling I am back!

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

It's 6 o'clock in the morning, and it's the first day of University... and I am meeting up with Jin Oppa and Emma. Us two except Oppa are starting our first year in University, and the eldest of us 3 is Jin Oppa who is 1 year older than me.  And he is from the Kim family, one of the top 9 prestigious families in Korea...

Emma in the other hand is from Yang family, which is also one of the top 9 prestigious families. And there is me. I don't know how I meet the two crackheads, but we are the smartest trio in highschool. And I never seen them the whole summer break as I was working out to lose weight. Before I was 71 kgs, and because of that I got quite bullied so then I decided to lose weight... now I am gorgeously 50 kgs!

I shut off the alarm, and do my daily morning prayers. I just don't understand why I do that! After doing my prayers I get dressed nicely in a autumn aesthetic attire ... And finally I can wear the clothes I like!

Then I make my breakfast because I live alone, since Eomma and Appa my adoptive parents brought me a apartment near the University, since they live far. But even though they aren't my real parents, they treat like their own and I am their only child so ever since they adopted me I was spoilt day and night... they even said that they will get me a car of my choice for when I need one, but I don't for now.

For breakfast I made a tomato and cheese omelette. Which was surprisingly delicious!

Then after eating breakfast it was the for me to meet up with Jin Oppa and Emma at one of Jin Mom's Cafe which near the University. So I grabbed my handbag and phone and walk to the door.

Squeak!

I slammed the door shut and take my keys to lock the apartment door. Then I heard a ring on my phone...

Ding!

I took out my phone and see that Emma had sent a message...

📲 Emma : Where are you, I am waiting!

📲 Me ( Rosie ) : I am coming I just got out of my apartment!

📲 Emma : Well your lucky that Jin Oppa isn't here yet!

📲 Me ( Rosie ) : Then why are you making me making me hurry, crackhead!

📲 Emma : I don't know, maybe because I have not seen you the whole summer!

📲 Me ( Rosie ) : Fine! but I have a surprise for you later! I have to go!

📲 Emma : OKAY! HURRY I WANT TO KNOW OR SEE THE SURPRISE!

I close my phone, and put it in my handbag. Then I start walking to the cafe, but as I was walking I started talking to myself.

" Will they recognize me?” My appearance had changed immaculately! I don't even look near as close as before? " I whispered to myself.

"Will I get bullied again?"

I talked and talked to myself... and people stared at me but I didn't care, as I taught myself to not care about what people think, but to only care what I think about myself. And soon enough I arrived at the cafe. I went closer to the front door and took a deep breath. Then open it!

Just as soon as I opened the door, a group University boys looked at me, I don't know if they are discussed by me or what. So I searched for Emma but I couldn't seem to see her since the cafe looked more like a restaurant than a cafe, it even had a third floor. But I had another idea.

📲 Me ( Rosie ) : I am here, where are you! I am standing at the front desk!

📲Emma : I am coming!

Few seconds later Emma appeared but she couldn't recognize me, she was wearing beige autumn coat with looks so nice on her, so I stood there... pretending as if I don't know her... she looked around to see if I was here, but really I was just in front of her.

Then suddenly she came up to me and shows a picture of me on her phone.

"Hello miss! I am looking for my friend! She looks like this!" Emma worriedly said.

"I think I have seen that girl before, it was in themirror!"

"What do you mean miss?" Emma said in a confused face.

"Let me introduce myself, I am Rosie a first year university student and I am starting University today!" 

"ROSIE! you have the same name as my friend and you two have a similar voice!"

OH! My how could she not still know! I am giving her clues! Did she get more dumb or what! Never mind she is already dumb!

"Can't you understand! It's me Rosie, Your BEST Friend!" 

"Rosie!" Emma replied with shock on her face

"Rosie!" Emma cried out loud as she hugged me tight.

"You! look so different!" Emma cried.

"Even those boys over there are falling for you" Emma said as she was pointing at a group go boys who are staring at me as if I am an angel from Heaven.

I let go of the hug in disbelief, so I look at the boys to who she is pointing to... she was right! The crack headed girl is right! But it feels a bit awkward because before I was being stared at for being ugly and fat, now it's because of how pretty I am, people really do act differently depending on the way you look.

"YOU LOOK SOO beautiful!" Emma squealed.

"I know" I said sarcastically.

We hug again, and that was when I was Jin Oppa... He went up to us, and looked at me in a surprised and shocked face...

"Rosie?" Jin said.

"Yeah!" I responded while I let of the hug between Emma and I.

"You lost some weight!"

"Yeah! can't you see! But how did you recognize me?"

"Your eyes gave it away!"

My eyes, true! My best face feature is my eyes...

But talking about eyes, Jin Oppa is staring at Emma, and since I am so smart, I know the two of like each other but because of them being an heir of one of the prestigious families. They can't date! Anyone! But maybe they soon might confess... But I also wonder when will I ever also find my true love!

Chapter 2 : The Heirs Of The 8 Prestigious Families

"Well don't you think it's time for us to go? All the other heirs are coming soon! The car is already outside waiting for us!" Jin blurted.

Emma and I didn't reply, but we followed Jin Oppa to his car. I don't understand why we aren't taking, but we just are not. We get in his car, and sit by each other. Jin was in the window seat as well as Emma, then there was me in the middle. I felt like I was the third wheel, since the two stared at me intensely and then to each other... which gave me chills and made me feel very tensed.

And soon enough we reached United Saints University... the hardest University to get into, and if your lucky enough... you can get a scholarship, which I did get. But the thing about this University is that all the rich kids are here, because they can afford it. But in my case, I applied for it... and I was one and only lucky person to get excepted for my smarts.

The car stopped in front of the University Gate... where six other cars where parked. Emma opened the car door and took my hand leading me to the Gate, then suddenly a group of girls and boys started crowding me, which made Emma drop my hand. I was in shock, I have never experienced many people crowding me..

But the thing that shocked me more was that they were asking me what my name is.

"What is your name?" A random boy said.

"Rosie." I said in a shy voice.

"How are you so beautiful! Can we call you the University Goddess!" A random girl said.

“Sure I guess! I don’t have a problem with that!”

Then just suddenly, Emma took my hand again and shouted…

“I the Heir of the Yang family, will take you Goddess!” Emma shouted as loud as she can.

“You may take her Princess!” All the boys and girls said in unison.

NOTE: All the heirs of the 9 prestigious families are all called… either Prince or Princess.

“Thank you!” Emma said in a bow.

Them right after her bow… she immediately dragged me to the girls bathroom. And poor me, my wrist got red from how tight she grabbed it. So as soon as we’ll got to the girls bathroom I immediately pretended to get mad, and cross my arms.

“Do have anything to say to me!” I said in a cold and stern voice.

“ Could you…. Ummmm.. help me confess to Jin… please” Emma said in a soft shy voice.

Ha! She finally admitted that she likes him… I might become an auntie soon! Just kidding!

“What can I do for you?”

“Just think of a plan! Isn’t your IQ 198?”

“ What will i get in return?” I said as I planted a smirk on my face.

“I will get you one thing from your three favourite clothing brands!”

“Gucci, Dior, and Channel!” My eyes sparkled in excitement.

“Yes, but as long as you think of something!”

“And by the way.. you outfit today look amazing!”

“Thank you!” I happily said due to her compliment.

Rosie’s Outfit:

Ding!

It was my phone… I reached for my phone in my handbag and take it out. The time was already 8:25, I had have a business class to go to in 10 minutes. But then the University Speaker start talking…

“Can all the Princes, Princess and Goddess come to the Principle’s office”

“Awwwww! You have to go!” I pouted.

“You’re the Goddess remember?”

“Yeah, right!”

“I sometimes really doubt that your IQ is 198!” Emma sighed.

We walk to the Principle’s office front door, and Emma opens it, to see 6 handsome boys and Jin Oppa standing around the Principle’s desk. Then we walk up closer to the desk, to see Appa.

“Appa?!” I said in disbelief.

“Who’s your Appa?! I only have one child and that is Rosie!” Appa said in a confused face.

“It’s me Rosie! Your daughter!” I said in a shocked face.

“Rosie?! You lost weight!” Appa looked at me up and down.

“Don’t talk about that in front of other people Appa!”

“Well it’s not my fault you didn’t come to me and your Eomma house for at least one day!” Appa said in a pout..

“Well anyway, I would just like to talk to you all about your security when you are here… because for example, my daughter and all of you were being crowded by a big amount of people! So I would like to ask how you are all feeling about that!”

Appa! I think they are fine with it! And about them they look handsome, my favourite from them is Jimin… he rumoured to be the nicest of the 9 heirs. But the thing that makes me wonder the most is that there is one family that doesn’t have a heir… they do, but the heir is missing.

“I think we are fine with it, since we are used to it everyday, and as for some of my hyung’s they said it’s fine as it their second year here!” Jimin said in a polite yet serious voice.

“Well if you need anything, let me know!” Appa said in a stern voice.

“You can all go, except for Rosie!” Appa said in a cold tone.

They all leave… leaving me and Appa alone! I need saving! Dad is going to scold me for not going to their house in the summer.

“Appa! Do you have to say anything to me!” I mumbled.

“Yes! I do!”

“Is it about how I didn’t go home!”

“No!”

“Then what is it about then, Appa?”

“ I was just worried that you are going to get bullied here! But you didn’t!”

“I was shocked too!”

“Well if anyone starts being mean to you tell me okay!”

“ I will be fine! They basically call me Goddess now!”

“Well that is good dear!”

“But could you care to explain how to you are the principal of this university”

“I wanted it to be a surprise!”

“Really?!” I said unconvinced.

“Well I have to go! And I promise you that I will go to your house tonight!” Shouted as I was walking to the door…

Bang!

I slam the door shut, and I know that Appa will get irritated. I walk to the business class, and on my way I saw Jimin… He approached me.

“Oh! You are the Principal’s daughter! And the one and only Goddess” Jimin said in a calm voice.

“Yes! I am! I today I just found out that the Principal of this University is my Appa!”

“Well could we be friends! I really want to be friends with others!”

“Sure!”

“But be ready to sit with the 8 heirs!”

“I don’t think I am worth sitting with you guys!”

“You are because your the daughter of the Principal and the Goddess of the school! And anyway you do deserve that title! Because you look like one”

I blush due to what Jimin had said… because nobody has ever told me that! I am glad that people are not bullying me! Just like when I was in HighSchool! But luckily Jin Oppa and Emma were by my side, they didn’t care about what I looked and what my appearance was like! So that is why I trust them a lot.

“I guess I can’t say no to you Jimin Oppa!”

“Wait! What class are you going to? I am going to business!”

“Me too!”

“What’s your birthday, Rosie?”

“December 31st”

“You’re one day after Taehyung’s birthday! “

“I know!”

“We should go!” Jimin said in a rush.

We run fast to the Class and then a group of girl and boys gather up around us… they kept chanting our names

Goddess and Prince can we please have a picture with you!

“Later, but you all have to go to your classes!” I shouted.

They all left, and started walking their seperate ways. Then Jimin and I started running again till we arrived,,, I opened the class door no one was here, except the Professor..

“You two are 5 minutes early! “ The professor stated.
