Dwight: Its always that dream, was that suppose to have a meaning? I dont know...

A rainy morning in Swainmorge. Monday, 4:53am, i cooked instant noodle with egg and onion leaves as garnish. The noodle soup is a perfect partner for this cold rain. Its tasty and quite delicious and i think i can finish this one bowl alone. Well, im alone...so i will obviously eat this meal by myself.

I was thinking if i should go to school today, its been raining since Saturday and it gives coldness like its winter season. Well, the school might consider my absence since its raining. But, i should go.

After Dwight prepared his all black uniform and white snickers, he locked his tiny apartment of him and watered the plants in front of his apartment door althrough the stairs. The plants seems like its about to die.

Dwight: you better be happy plants, stay hydrated.

Mrs.Teko: Your plants wont talk to you back, you should have a girlfriend Dwight, by the way have you eaten yet? Your so skinny. I cooked lunch here do you want some?

Dwight: Mrs. Teko, im just 16...love is not my forte. Thanks for the meal but i had to go

Mrs. Teko: well bring this as your afternoon food or just eat this whenever you get hungry. I put bottled water there.

Dwight: Awe! Thank you mrs. Teko! I appreciate this much. Godbless mrs. Teko! Byeee!

Mrs. Teko: Bye kid! Keep safe!

Mrs Teko prepared a meal for me because she thinks im so skinny. Mrs Teko has been alone by herself since her family is killed by an unknown creature. She testified that it was a demon but no one believes her.

Dwight opened the main gate of their apartment and put his plain red transparent raincoat and his yellow boots. He positioned his bike and proceed to drive. While driving, Dwight feels the rain tapping his face.

Dwight: argh! This rain.

A guy called his name causing him to sudden stop his bike. He looked in the way he heard the voice but its blurry because of the droplets of the heavy rain.

:Hey! Come over here!

I know that voice, a voice of an old man is calling me but all i see is a sign of a convenience store and the glowing letters of the name of the store above it. If thats the case, Mr. Finn is the one who calls me.

Finn: Hey kid! Theres no classes! Havent you heard the news? They cancelled it! Come over here!

Dwight: i cant hear you clearly mr. Finn! But ill come over.

As mr. Finn said, i come over to his convenience store to discuss what he's trying to tell me since the heavy rainfall made our conversation unclear. I put my plain red transparent raincoat and yellow boots in the corner of the store where it says "Drying area".

The store air-conditioning is cold but the outside is much colder than the inside. Mr. Finn pulled me in the counter and dry my hair with his white thick towel.

Finn: Are you trying to catch cold?

Dwight: i was about to go— about to— go to the school mr finn.

Im stuttering since mr. Finn dries my hair hardly. He lives alone too like mrs.Teko and both of their families are dead. They have the same reason, a demon attacked them causing their family to die.

Finn: there you go, youre dry now. Dont you want soup? Ill prepare you some.

Dwight: dont bother mr. Finn im alright, anyways what are you trying to say earlier im sorry? The rain is too loud i couldn't hear it.

Finn: The classes are cancelled since the typhoon is currently in our place. Why the hell are you riding a bike in the middle of the storm?

Dwight: i thought it was just a simple rain.

The typhoon must have started last saturday since the rain started the same day and it never stopped since then.

Dwight: I should go back to my apartment Mr. Finn, since i have a lot of home work.

Finn: Then let me drive you home.

Dwight: Oh no! I dont wanna disturb you here mr Finn!

Finn: You'll disturb me if you die too and i cant accept it.

Mr finn cares for me so much because he believed that i resembles his youngest son Cole that died in the same tragedy along with his family.

Dwight: thanks for driving me home mr.finn, would you like to stay a while? Coffee?

Finn: uh no, i have to serve the customers in the store, stay safe here kid and dont rush in the rain. Call me if theres something wrong.

Dwight: oh sure mr finn. Safe driving!

What am i gonna do now since the classes had been cancelled?. My window in my apartment has a little space so i sat there and drink coffee while watching the rain. Others think that the rain is too loud and so annoying, but i feel calm when its raining. Its like the rain's cold breeze hugs my cheeks and the coffee im drinking turns into a blanket that keeps me warm. Haaa...i wish this wasnt the last time im gonna sit here in the window watching the rain falls.

I noticed that im still wearing my class uniform so i put it in a hanger and leave it hanging beside my cabinet. While completely \*\*\*\*\*, i noticed that im not skinny at all. Well, im judt probably tall so others might think im skinny. I put my pale blue sweater on and yellow and black checkered pants and white socks so i could stay warm.

I should've checked the class groupchat earlier, anyways, i finished my tasks so theres nothing to do. The apartment is clean either so theres nothing to do also. Ill just stay relaxed here in the window until noon. Its currently 6:57am so ill stay here.

Venice: yes, i had a vision of you and i cant tell you what my vision is until you became one of us.

This guy suddenly has a huge black wings, it's so huge to the point that he messed up my ceiling and destroy my table.

Percy: oh sorry about that...

Dwight: strange. Well, are you the one who killed mr Finn and mrs Teko's family?

Venice: no, but they are one of our kind. We must hurry.

Percy: leave your things here.

Dwight: oh umm ok.

We entered their black expensive car and Percy drives it and Venice sits beside the driver's seat and they let me sit at the back.

Dwight: its literally raining...

Venice: Dont bother, just stay calm.

Oh ok, who exactly are they? Well anyways, as i saw earlier, they might be a real sorcerers. Sorcerers? I dont know what to call them and i cant remember what term he used to identify their kind.

Venice: were arriving.

This castle is huge, i mean very huge. Is it a mansion? Or a castle? Because its really huge. How can someone live in here? Its very quiet. Those gates are so huge, the smell when you enter the door is so relaxing! Its so comfortable, the chandeliers is the hallways is fancy. The design of the wall and pillars as so fascinating to look, the ceiling...it has scupltures of an angel? Is it an angel? Nevermind...the red carpet is so beautiful! Very red.

Dmitri: Percillion, who is that kid.

Percy: hes Dwight, son of Erick and Erina.

Dwight: wait you know my parents?

Percy: yes, they served the coven once.

Dwight: coven?

Venice: the Fallenguard, it is a coven of blooddemons that publishes laws according to their beliefs and accusations and also theories.

Dwight: My parents must be bad?

Venice: no they dont. They left the Fallenguard to create a family. But a blooddemon cant produce a child so basucally youre adopted. But the moment they was about to turn you into a blooddemon, Fallenguard killed them and left you where your foster parents lived.

Dwight: if thats true, i shoyld be dead by now?

Percy: No, we guide you until you everyday but you just dont notice it.

Dwight: oh...so what now?

Percy: we have to turn you into like us.

Dmitri: Theres a room, fifth floor 5 rooms to the left. You can stay their until the ritual is about to begin.

*Opens the elevator*

Luke: well im 102 yrs old turning 103 this november.

Luke: Yeah *laughs* we stopped aging if we reached our matured stats

Dwight: when im 15? Oh thats great ill stay young, but i didnt look matured anyways?

I didnt have time to visit my room since he invited me to visit his room. Blooddemons dont sleep so why would he have a bed? Anyways, his collection of clothes are from 1800's but its very catchy.

Dwight: yall dont sleep right?

Luke: ahh yes

Dwight: why would you have a bed?

Luke: for aesthetic purposes hehe, you can sit there in the couch, ill just change clothes.

Dwight: woah! Those clothes are so...1800's but....i know only rich can afford those at that time?

Luke: yeah, its my fathers collection.

Dwight: wheres your father?

Luke: i didnt turn him into a blood demon, so he aged to death.

Dwight: oh sorry.

Luke: oh its ok! Anyways, would you like to wear one?

Dwight: oh yeah SURE!

I chose the colored black one, it gives me warmth and cozy feeling at the same time.

Dwight: this one is good. Anyways, i had to clean my room i should get going.

Luke: oh yeah sure, take the clothes with you.

Dwight: REAALLYY? thank you!!!

I proceed to go to my own room, its nice and cool. And its identically looks like the apartment i lived. How? How will they turn me into a pure blooddemon? What will happen? Well i guess i just need to trust them and trust the process also.

I like mythology, ive read books about blooddemons but i dont know if that source is reliable or not. It says blood demons are naturally attracted to blood like vampires. Blood demon and vampires are almost the same, the only difference is that blood demon has a form of dark demonic creature appearance.

Blooddemons could have tails, wings, claws, and monstrous body, when they turn into their final form, they become unstoppable.

I should sleep now, Percy said that we should go shopping tomorrow for my new things. Ill suggest that we should go visit mr.finn and mrs. Teko for formal goodbye.

*Tomorrow*

Percy: Dwight! Dwight! *Knocks*

Dwight: Umm? Its literally 5:37 am mr. Percy

Percy: Well, we should get going now. We have a lot to buy, ok get dress ill wait downtairs.

Dwight: ok, ill prepare. But wait! Can we visit Mr. Finn and Mrs. Teko? Id like to say goodbye to them.

Percy: sure!

Its now 6:10am and i finished toothbrush and taking a bath. I wore plain white tshirt and black jacket to protect me from coldness since its raining. And ripped jeans and a high cut shoes.

I proceeded to go downstairs and i couldnt find Percy, so i asked dmitri.

Dwight: umm where is percy? He said—

Dmitri: outside, waiting for you

He always talk with no joy, like cold. He has cold personality but he's nice. Anyways, this is my second time walking in this very detailed hallway and detailed gate. "Glovesmith" "Hunchforth" "Wittlock" "Lockhartt" i dont know who they are but their names are carved in the huge walls of the castle. Maybe they are the ones who made the this castle or they are the one manage the Coven?

This castle is part of the coven, Luke says that few of them wants to live a normal life away from the Fallenguard. They are currently practicing to get along with the humans.

Percy: Are you ready Dwight?

Dwight: uh, yeah sure.

Percy: we'll say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Elderlies first before we go shopping.

Dwight: hey thats mean! Mr. Finn and Mrs. Teko are good!

Percy: Well ok, Hop in. Its raining come on.

I know Mr. Finn might worry about me leaving the Swainmorge since the Austinville where the Fallenguard castle is built is kilometers away from Swainmorge. I grew up in Swainmorge so its hard for me to leave the city too.

Finn: Leaving? Why? Theres a storm.

Dwight: well the car is pretty strong *chuckles*

Finn: ...

Dwight: im gonna miss you mr. Finn.

Finn: Me too kid...but, sometimes we left to be better. For the better. And im proud of you for that.

Dwight: *chuckles* *hugs finn* thank you for being there always...

Finn: *hugs back* sure, s-sure. *Cries*

Its hard to leave mr. Finn and mrs. Teko alone since they are both old. After we said goodbye, Percy and i proceeded to go shopping. We bought new clothes and pants and more. After that we proceeded to go to the Colebourne, where the twin blooddemon Seth and Jasper lives.

*Colebourne, Maine*

Jasper: A human?

Seth: why would you bring a human here, percy.

Percy: chill!, Hes about to be one of us.

Jasper: Venice's vision? Is that him?

Seth: well it must be him

Percy: yes, its him. Anyways, we have to talk.

Percy wants me to browse things and let them talk for a minute, theres books,shirts,apparels and souvenirs in this shop.

Percy: The Fallenguard will not agree unless we talk to them directly.

Seth: we cant fight the Fallenguard they have their assets Marcus and Ashe.

Jasper: You belong to the coven, why would you fight them?

Percy: were not asking for a fight, were asking for protection. The Fallenguard wont listen to any explanations unless they see it themselves.

Jasper: well, what do we do?

Percy: Venice and i will talk to te Fallenguard peacefully and you will wait outside the castle with Dwight, if they agreed to perform the ritual, ill call you to send dwight inside.

Seth: Is dwight wholeheartedly wants to be like us?

Percy: he has no choice, Venice had a vision of him becoming like us or— nevermind.

Jasper: Venice's vision are accurate, we'll help you.

Percy: thanks.

The twins has the ability to turn themselves into a huge snake, jasper is the white one and seth is the black one. Percy wants to leave the coven when the ritual is done. We will live normally like luke said.

Percy: dwight...

Dwight: yes?

Percy: lets go home.

After the conversation, the date of visiting the Fallenguard for permission has been set. Percy and Dmitri had a conversation through phone that they are is still worried if the Fallenguard will agree. If they dont, ill become their meal.

Being one of them will definitely change my whole life, maybe this is the first step to know what my parents did before even if im just adopted i would like to know their past.

Humans must not know about blood demons, so that Fallenguard are made to create rules and laws to maintain the secret of the blooddemons. Percy also said that Fallenguard has the most powerful blooddemon assets, Marcus and Ashe.

They call them the starter and the ender, this siblings are unstoppable together and they kill brutally. Marcus has the blessing of sending his target a temporary paralysis except their head while his sister Ashe has the blessing of sending a mental illusion where she tortures her victim. These assets made the Fallenguard more terror

They follow the Fallenguard's commands, percy mentioned that we cant say the names of the founder of the hightables because they might think that we are spreading their information and identity.

7:22pm we arrived at the castle, my room is clean so that i wont do any further cleanings and rest. A lot of things are gonna change when i turn into one of them. Anyways, i didn't know what Venice saw in her vision and why she dont want to say it to me unless i turned into a blooddemon.

Someone is knocking at my room, who is it?

Dwight: luke! Hey umm whats up?

Luke: percy wants me to tell you that you need to wear decent clothes later for the ritual.

Dwight: is it later? I thought it was next week

Luke: umm, The Fallenguard called, they want to perform the ritual now.

Luke: Lockhartt, she has the ability to peek through the past. Well basically, she can see a vision when its done.

Dwight: just like Venice?

Luke: Venice has the ability to peek through future, it gaves her the vision of warnings. Lockhartt has the Vision of Accomplishment, lockhartt will only see a vision if the certain task is done.

Dwight: oh that makes sense.

Hunting, a blood demon must hunt atleast once every 3 months to maintain healthy body. A blooddemon will slowly die if they dont hunt within 3months. Overhunting will result to obvious killings, humans attention will take over then the Fallenguard will step in to punish the one whose over hunting. Fallenguard protects the identity of the blooddemons in the way of threatening their kind, they are so strict. Thats why there is no one overhunts.

I should prepare my clothes now. Id choose all black sleeves and pants and highcut shoes. Its decent anyways.

Percy: did you rest?

Dwight: yeah but i woke up early before 10:45

Percy: ok lets go, you dont need to carry a backpack so leave that. Oh, luke! Please tell dmitri that Dwight and i will leave now.

Luke: sure sir.

Percy: are you ready dwight?

Dwight: yes! Lets go.

We drove again to the main castle of the hightables in Fort Vessichettes, Grandwell. The main castle is so huge and has very detailed design of the walls.

You cant see the sunlight here, fire and chandeliers lights the hallways and the main hall. The main hall is where the ritual will start.

Wittlock: Human, do you swear loyalty to the coven

Dwight: i- i do

Hunchforth: i can clearly see hesitations in his face due to nervous. Theres nothing to be nervous about unless youre—

Lockhartt: proceed!

Wittlock: do you accept the rules of the coven

Dwight: i do accept all the rules and laws.

Glovesmith: then receive immortality! Drink this blood of mine and let me bite you as the ritual begins!

Lockhartt: Dwight Alford, son of Erick and Erina. Accept this immortality as glovesmith gives the bite of change, turning against the living.

Wittlock: A gift will obtain if the bloddemon is lucky.

Glovesmith: *proceeds to bite*

The last time that i will wake up, i cant remember what happened after glovesmith bit me. My eyes, it glows red like blood, pale skin and cold as ice. I guess we succeeded the ritual. I woke up in my room, i guess when i slept percy took me home as the ritual ends. Food, i smell food! The aroma of a festive and tasty food i can smell it.

Person#1: Slowly lift! Slow! Take the out the others!

Person#2: Apply medication! Hurry! Take them in the ambulance car

Person#3: The robber has a gun!

Person#1: the robber escaped, focus on aiding the casualties!

Person#3: Yes sir!

Dwight: blood...

Percy: i bet you can hear it too.

Dwight: yeah, but i cant see it?

Percy: its because that building is blocking it.

Being a blooddemon enhances my hearing skills and also my sight, i can clearly see the other building without any blur.

Percy: lockhartt says that you obtained a gift,

Percy: yeah, she said thay you have the ability to send a mental illusion of penetrating pain. Hunchforth has a theory that you have a multi gift.

Dwight: multi gift?

Percy: an ability to obtain not one but many blessing

Dwight: oh but , what now?

Percy: *Chuckles* hunt, but remember. Dont be obvious.

Luke: ill accompany him, 10pm we'll start ok?

Dwight: sure! Ill just take a walk since i didnt explore this castle that much.

Ill just take a walk, but wait a minute...my feelings, i dont feel anything? Its like im numb for anything? No, i feel two things sadness and thirst. I dont know, but i lived happily so why would i be sad. Maybe i lost my joy and feelings.

The walls are very detailed here in the Fallenguard. There are four branches of Fallenguard in the world to ensure that the worldwide blooddemons will follow the rules. But its being kept secret.

When glovesmith bit me, he transmitted the idea of the rules in me so that i wont have the urge to break it. He also transmitted the members and their roles. The wings, Marcus and Ashe are their powerful assets, without wings the coven wont fly. The tails, Glovesmith, Hunchforth, Wittlock, Lockhartt the main four. said to be the only one that has the right to see the the head, without tails the coven wont balance its flight. And theres the head, unknown, glovesmith doesnt transmitted the appearance of the head. But the head is the one who controls the coven.

Lockhart said that she saw my blessings, but how can i use this blessing or how to trigger the power atleast. I saw the reflection of my eye in the mirror and its glowing red. Maybe my eye are like the trigger of a gun that enables me to use my power. I stopped at the window of the highest tower of the castle, someone caught my attention. Its a girl. A beautiful and alive girl. But i dont want to know her and i dont like to know her.

"Dwight! Help me!"

Wait, what was that? Is it a vision? Its a girl with black dress and braided hair, black shoes....wait...shes the girl that caught my attention! But why did i see her? I dont really know her so ill let her fulfill her destiny. Anyways this castle is huge. I wont further explore anymore. Ill go to percy to tell what i saw.

Dwight: percy!

Dmitri: He left, why?

Dwight: I need to tell him something!

Dmitri: well, im here. You can tell me. Whats the problem?

Dwight: i saw a girl in my h-head like a vision. I saw a girl with blood in her black dress, he also wear black shoes and she has braided hair and she ask for my help.

Dmitri: what happened next?

Dwight: nothing.

Venice: So, you have a vision too. Well, i can see the future by actions. Maybe your vision depends on decisions.

Dmitri: Percy said that youre a multi gift, well. You have the gift of a vision, enabled you to peek a glimpse of the future for a second.

Dwight: that girl might get hurt if we didnt help her

Dmitri: dont Dwight, there are things we shouldn't be part of.

Dwight: like what?

Dmitri: like her death. Tell me where you saw her.

Dwight: street, like infront of a movie theater. No one is there.

Dmitri: thats the territory of the vampires. We cant offer help. The Fallenguard will step in.

Dwight: why?

Dmitri: well, if we help the girl it means we are intruding their territory and huntings as well. It will end in a fight since the vampires are proud of their gifts.

Dwight: but were alot stronger than them, i mean we have our blessings?

Dmitri: they also have blessings dwight-

Dwight: Sure.

Dmitri: umm hello...

I quickly went upstairs to watch the moon glow, it calms me. The moon calms me, the folklore about the full moon that makes the other entity go rampage, i think its not real. I mean, it makes me calm so i dont think full moon will cause me to rage and show myself to others.

I sat in the rooftop of the castle and watch the humans close their gates and windows and turn their lights off leaving the street lights only the one who gives light. I completely forgot what is the feeling of being tired and feel the satisfaction of bed.

I kinda miss my little apartment and my window where i watch the rain falls. The rain stopped the other day because the storm are over. These humans...they are so calmy to watch walking peacefully.

Luke: Dwight? Why are you up here?

Dwight: umm nothing, just watching the moon.

Luke: you say that like youve never been a human before *laugh*

Dwight: *laugh* well, not anymore.

Luke: Well always be like this. Never aging, never moving forward. Frozen.

Dwight: its a good thing though, being like this forever.

Luke: for me its kinda not-good-thing. because. I had a perfect life before, i mean i almost finish my college then an accident happen.

Dwight: what happen?

Luke: im walking home with my family that night, when my father touched the doorknob to open the door, the house suddenly explode. My whole family died and i was the only one whose far away...i thought i died that day, i wish i died.

Dwight: thats sad.

Luke: Wittlock bit me, then i became...this.

Dwight: i thought they dont step in unless its important?

Luke: lockhartt saw me in her visions, she thinks that i may have a future in Fallenguard but i refused it.

Dwight: Didnt she saw that you might refused? But she only saw the past? How come that she can saw the future?

Luke: no, her visions depends on results of an action. But hunchback's gift enhances the gifts around him enabling lockhartt to peek through the future.

Dwight: decisions...Venice said that my vision depends of decision.

Luke: well thats great. And enough talk *chuckles* percy will arrive later you might want to drink some blood in the hallway?

Deight: *laughs* your kidding!

Luke: well *laughs*

Luke, he's a great friend. Maybe he sees me as his brother who died from the accident. I dont think it was an accident, maybe someone put a bomb inside their house or something. The doorknob is like the push button to make the bomb explode.

There are many good blooddemons here in Fallenguard. Many of us lurks here because we control our hunting. Exposing our selves into public will cause attention the Fallenguard will punish us.

Oh thats percy, hes tallking to dmitri about our safety.

Percy: Dmitri, we can do this now. Theres enough of us .

Dmitri: the Fallenguard will come for us! We cant risk any blood demon in this castle. cant you imagine marcus and ashe punishing

Percy: Dwight, Dwight is a multi gift! He can copy gifts we can use him to protect the others and leave this coven.

Dmitri: I disagree, Dwight has no job of protecting us. Its my job. Its my duty to protect this coven.

Percy: thats why we need to leave.

Dmitri: percy...ill think of it. Ill talk to them, maybe theyll give us a chance.
