Vampires

#1

Whenever we hear or read the term Vampier, we always, imagine a tall handsome man or a beautiful woman, blood lust people. Who have superpowers, and also with great physic and everything nice.

They may be the best-known classic monsters of all. Most people associate vampires with Count Dracula, the legendary, blood-sucking subject of Bram Stoker's epic novel, Dracula, which was published in 1897. But the history of vampires began long before Stoker was born. The literary vampire first appeared in 18th-century poetry, before becoming one of the stock figures of gothic fiction with the publication of Polidori's The Vampyre (1819), which was inspired by the life and legend of Lord Byron.

You won't actually find vampires in the Bible. Werewolves, zombies, vampires, and other such fictional beings are creatures originating from medieval folklore and ancient mythology. Legend suggests that vampires are corpses who leave their graves at night to drink the blood of sleeping humans. {According to a survey, 69% of the vampires who responded said that they had been raised in organized religion (Youngson, 2000). An Internet survey undertaken by Gennifer found that 31% of vampires professed religious faith in Christianity, 13% in Wicca, 3% in Islam. and 20% none other than themselves. Still ain't sure about this}

Vampires have two features of interest to memory theorists. First, to the extent that they avoid angry mobs, they are immortal, allowing them to accumulate life experiences indefinitely. Second, they are immune to the effects of aging. Although not traditionally regarded as an apotropaic, mirrors have been used to ward off vampires when placed, facing outwards, on a door (in some cultures, vampires do not have a reflection and sometimes do not cast a shadow, perhaps as a manifestation of the vampire's lack of a soul).

Vampires drink blood to survive and, secondarily, for pleasure. This distinction may seem irrelevant, but not all vampires relish draining blood from living things (mostly humans). Blood can be compared to food and drink for humans; vampires require blood to drink in order to survive.

Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. Jure Grando Alilović or Giure Grando (1579–1656) was a villager from the region of Istria (in modern-day Croatia) who may have been the first real person described as a vampire in historical records.

Rabies can even help explain the supposed aversion of vampires to garlic. Infected people display a hypersensitive response to any pronounced olfactory stimulation, which would naturally include the pungent smell of garlic.”

{At least 5,000 vampires in the US! Atlanta Vampire Alliance, a house for 'real vampires', conducted surveys that found there are at least 5,000 people in the United States who identify as vampires. Browning said about 50 of them live in New Orleans alone.} Just some random thing I found, cant be sure of this info. Vampires are monsters in legends and stories. The first vampire stories were told in Eastern Europe, but much of how modern people see vampires was created by Bram Stoker in the famous novel, Dracula. Few people believe that vampires are real, but they are still very popular in movies, television, and books.

Vampires have no brain waves, no heartbeat, no need to breathe, and no electrical impulses whatsoever in their bodies. Vampires have exceptionally strong hind legs and long sturdy, padded thumbs that are even longer than their feet. When their wings are folded, they use their thumbs like front feet, making it possible for vampires to move like four-footed animals rather than the two-footed animals they really are.

There are three types of real vampires: sanguinarian, psychic, and hybrids. See the next chapter to know about these three and more.

#2

Vampires are exceptional creatures who are capable of great powers. They are polymorphs that have the ability to appear in human, creature, animal, ghost, invisible, or energy forms. Vampires as a race are extremely connected to the astral realm. Their auras are literal extensions of their beings and have a constant, solid connection to the astral realm.

There are two kinds of Vampires... Sanguine and Psy. Sanguine Vampires are the most widely thanks to the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker published in 1897. They go by many names such as the "undead", "Nosferatu", "phantom", "goblin", "incubus", "the eternal", and in some texts are referred to as a form of Faery. Nonetheless, their place in culture has been cemented forever. When you own a Sanguine Vampire they are spirits and no longer need blood. They gain their pleasure by being in your company as you are a warm-blooded creature. I do not suggest vegetarians own Sanguine Vampires, for vegetarians I suggest Psy, because Sanguine Vampire spirits love to feed off the energy when a human consumes meat, especially beef. However, if vegetarian desires to keep a Sanguine, I would suggest having a Custom Conjuration done to ensure the appropriate companion is found. For earlier Vampires (early BC) the source of their powers can be both dark and positive, however, mostly dark... for later bloodlines (late BC & AD) the source of their energy can be dark or positive and should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. They are much more likely to appear to their human Keeper in human form through manifestation.

Sanguine Vampires are a literal force to be reckoned with as their superhuman strength and razor-sharp minds bring a powerful presence to their Keeper's home. They provide protection, guidance, power, magic, and a sight into the dimensions humans cannot see. They also manifest daily as Shades. Shades are an imprint left on a person, place, or thing, being seen out of the corner of the human eye, and sometimes be felt.

Secret to Keeping

These Dark Arts secrets were previously not known outside of family and Creepy Hollows collectors. They are secrets discovered by Ash and he has generously agreed to share them with all collectors because having the right secret and being able to properly handle DA spirits is more important.

Caring for your Sanguine Vampire is the same as caring for any other spirit except being a creature of duality there is a way to keep your Sanguine Vampire under control if you feel it is becoming too energetic, too strong in manifestation, or too "in your face". Place the vessel of the Sanguine Vampire near any of the following: pressed garlic, freshly squeezed acrylic paint, or chamomile tea leaves - any of the aforementioned for at least 2 hours, they become subdued and submissive. Only use this technique if you feel the Sanguine Vampire is becoming too strong for your liking- some collectors like their spirits to be "on the go" all the time so it is your judgment call.

The term "energy vampire" is also used metaphorically to refer to people whose influence leaves a person feeling exhausted, unfocused, and depressed, without ascribing the phenomenon to psychic interference.

Dion Fortune wrote of psychic parasitism in relation to vampirism as early as 1930 in her book, Psychic Self-Defense. Fortune considered psychic vampirism a combination of psychic and psychological pathology and distinguished between what she considered to be true psychic vampirism and mental conditions that produce similar symptoms. For the latter, she named folie à deux and similar phenomena.

The term "psychic vampire" was popularized in the 1960s by Anton LaVey and his Church of Satan. LaVey wrote on the topic in his book, The Satanic Bible, and claimed to have coined the term.[10] LaVey used psychic vampire to mean a spiritually or emotionally weak person who drains vital energy from other people. Adam Parfrey likewise attributed the term to LaVey in an introduction to The Devil's Notebook.

The English singer-songwriter Peter Hammill credits his erstwhile Van der Graaf Generator colleague, violinist Graham Smith, with coining the term "energy vampires" in the 1970s in order to describe intrusive, over-zealous fans. Hammill included a song of the same name on his 1978 album The Future Now.

The terms "energy vampire" and "psychic vampire" have been used as synonyms in Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union as part of an occult revival.

The 2019 American comedy horror television series What We Do in the Shadows includes a character, Colin Robinson, who is an "energy vampire"

Terms used to describe the substance or essence that psychic vampires take or receive from others include energy, qi (or ch'i), life force, prana, and vitality. There is no scientific or medical evidence supporting the existence of the bodily or psychic energy they allegedly drain.

A psychic vampire (or energy vampire) is a fictional and religious creature said to feed off the "life force" of other living creatures. The term can also be used to describe a person who gets increased energy around other people but leaves those other people exhausted or "drained" of energy.[1] Psychic vampires are represented in the occult beliefs of various cultures and in fiction.

Hybrids are cross-breeding of two or more different supernatural species. The term is commonly used to describe a werewolf turned into a vampire due to the fact that they were the first supernatural hybrid to be introduced in the series. However, since the werewolf-vampire hybrid's creation, there have been other cross-breed hybrids revealed in the series' universe, such as Siphoner turned witch-vampire hybrids, werewolf-witch hybrids, and, in the rare case of Hope Mikaelson, a witch-werewolf-vampire tribrid.

Hybrids possess both the strengths and some of the weaknesses of their parent races, along with powerful attributes unique to themselves alone due to their combined heritage. For werewolf-vampire hybrids, this includes Day Walking and being able to transform into a wolf without the Full Moon's influence. For siphoner-vampire hybrids, they retain their ability to siphon magic and their own vampirism as a power source for their use in witchcraft; as they did not possess their own magic as humans, this is a skill that makes them powerful.

The one disease most often suggested by scholars to explain vampires is porphyria. Porphyrias are a group of mostly inherited diseases caused by defects in making heme, a key component of the hemoglobin in our red blood cells.
