The people from the bright island were called 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 while people from the dark island were called 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨
While knowing full well the consequences of his actions The King of the Dark Island ,driven by hatered and jealousy, travelled with his army and attacked the bright island. However people there had never felt fear or unsafety before so they didn't have an actual army..... and they were defeated almost immediately.....
At the same time on the dark island the queen and their three months old baby were dying a painful death due to the curse , along with the loved ones of the army's soldiers.....
Back to the Bright Island: Sunlights where begging for their lives while facing the Shadows and they were willing to do anything to go back to where they were before they came...
Realizing that the King of the Shadows made a deal with the King of the Sunlight:
𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 - 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚
•In order for the Shadows to live the bright island and never return....every year one sunlight shall be send to the dark island to become a slave there and serve the King .
•If they refuse for some reason to send a new sunlight the Shadows will return and destroy the bright island for good.

Three days later the Shadows left the sunny island with their first sunlight slave .... the Sunlight King's daughter who later became the new wife of the Shadows....
Time passed and the people on the bright island started to forget about the dark island to the point where only a few actually knew of its existence and the original agreement...
People on the dark island on the other hand did not forget about the bright island .... a place where the sun rises and brightness is covering every surface and every soul..... it almost sounded like a dream to those one the dark island.... a small spark of hope

And there is a man sitting on a terrifying looking throne in the distance watching them....

and when that child turned 16 they took her away from her family for good and the family must pretend that that child never existed or they will be killed....
