The little girl looked at the village, that was burning right in front of her. Her eyes reflected the roaring fire as it rose. The crying could be heard miles away, but it keeps on disappearing one by one. They were diying, all of them! Xiaon Lu, looked back at the village and whispers, “I survived.” She was standing at the top of the hill, looking down at the village below her, that was once her beloved home. Her tears slowly failed as she remembered the last of her mother’s word. “You must survive. And find the truth. Here take this and go to the imperial city, where the Xiaon Lu clan lays.”

“Mom,” Xiaon Lu uttered. Her beautiful innocent face was holding the ashes of the fire, that was burning her home. She swore to find the person who killed he love once, and make them experience the same, or even worse.

6 years later

“Xiaon Lu, we are going to a party, and I brought you a dress,” Said Wu Qing lovingly. Xiaon Lu scoffed secretly at her as she knew this was all a lie. The person who was standing in front of her with that big, fake smile of hers, despised Xiaon Lu so much to the point she was going to explode.

Wu Qing knew even though she was the cucubine of Xiaon Jing, Xiaon Lu holds a lot of power in the imperial city. Her mother once used to hold a great power in this city, not only that she was also the second princess of the Bing Bin city.

Xiaon Lu holds a lot of power, so instead of going against her, it was wise to gain the favor of her. but it was clearly not working. Her two sister who were sitting at the table with their father secretly sneered at the way their mother was acting toward that brat!

Xiaon Lu acted along with her, since her father was present at the time and accepted her ‘gift’. “Oh, you didn’t have to trouble yourself, I-Xiaon Lu thanks Wu Qing ‘sincerely’.” Xiaon Lu bowed and made a funny sound with the word sincerely secretly. “No need for a thanks I am your mother after all,” Wu Qing replies as she knew the word ‘mother’ was her weak spot. Xiaon struggle to not yell at her, saying she never was her mother, and will never be one.

She try to keep her self compose as she didn’t want to make her father upset at the moment, specially not now as she didn’t have anyone to back her at the moment.

“Right” said leaving Wu Qing dump founded. She thought she was going to explode like last time, she called herself her mother. But she only thought. “ hurry and dress up we have to leave early” Said the father intrupting the two who were starting at each other intensely.

Wu Qing and her two sister sneerd at the back of her back as she turn around and leave.

It was night, and so many carriage could be seen in front of the castle. Of course, so many people were here, because it was the birthday of the crown prince, who was turning 17 this year. It wasn’t an ordinary party after all.

People were chatting and talking among each other, as more and more people name were being called outside, it was certainly a grand party. Every body knows the crown prince was loved by the emperor from all of his son, not only the emperor but the entire people loved him. He meet every aspect of a great emperor, handsome, caring, loving, anybody would want to get close to him!

The prince and princess were talking with each other but their attation drifted to the enterence [which was a little far away from the enterence since the party was outside the castle, And the enterence was at the entering of the palace], as they heard the surname Xiaon clan being called. The Xiaon clan wasn’t an ordinary clan, they were the top clan in the entire clan that was favored by the emperor. They hold the name of brilliance, and peaceful clan. They had the top medical expriance and school not only in the imperial city but also in other cities.

That was the reason why Xiaon Lu’s mother was married to the Xiaon clan. When the Bing Bin city became peaceful with the imperial city, they tied their realationship with marriage. The deceased emperor and the emperor of Bing bin agreed to marry the second princess to Xiaon city.

Not only that today they were going to see the daughter of Qain Que, who was known as the fierce and the most beautiful women in all of the city. The were finally going to see the elegance and skilled daughter of Qain Que today!

They were gossips among the imperial city that the daughter of Qain Que came back after her mother died. Since then no body heard of as she didn’t appear publicly.

One by one the Xiaon clan enterd. Every One gossip as they saw Xiaon Lu. Xiaon Lu looked at them confused but kept her calm and looked around. She certain lived up to her mother’s name, she was the most beautiful lady in the party. Added to that, she wasn’t even wearing high stander dress like her sisters. Even so, she was the most beautiful, elegant woman in the party.

The only one missing from the party was the crown prince, the emperor, and the second prince. The second prince was known for his cold ice personality, but the ladies seem to like that about him. The second prince was the most handsome prince in the whole imperial city, the crown prince appearance was like a star while the second prince was like the moon in the dark sky. Even so, the second prince was the total opposite of the crown prince. The second prince doesn’t stay here longer as he has to go back to to the border, for his training and protecting his city. The second prince was expected to become a great general which his father was proud was. Even though, the emperor loved the crown prince in they eye of the people but in heart he always loved the second prince who he was proud of.

The wind was making the beautiful dress she was wearing blow to the side, with her hair flying on air.

Xiaon Lu was enjoying the beautiful night that was filled with darkness. Even thought, the darkness was petrifing, it was still alluring.

The party was filled with guests from Bing bin city, she came outside a she heard her grand father might arrive soon.

Even though, her mother had no problem with her. He made her marry to the Xiaon clan with force. He made he do many thing she was against with.

Every body knew she could have refuse the marriage but it will make her father in a tight place. She did everything according to her father’s wish. Yet he still didn’t felt a little bit of gratitude towards it.

Xiaon lu knew every secret of her mother’s, but she never knew why she was so obedient. There must be something that leads to her death, maybe this has to do with one of them.

“Call the imperial doctor!! Hurry up!”

She came back to reality when she heard a shout from the back of her ear. She run to where the voice was coming from as she hurried down.

Xiaon lu gasped at the scene she was witnessing in front of her was a horrifing scene, three arrow were shot toward his chest.

“No! Do not take out the arrow.” She yell the bodyguard who was about to take out the arrow. He looked bewildered at her. Don’t take out the arrow?

“He will lose a lot of blood.” “Are you a doctor?” Xiaon lu stared at the guy who was shot, he is so luky to be alive.

“Please save my master!” The guy who was about to take out the arrow said as he looked at her with hope.

“From the shot he got there is two possible reason for the outcome. The first one is internal injury of the heart, the second one is just a little bit of injury. You belong to the second one” there was no way he belong to the second one because he would have died by now, let alone to be able to talk. the guard sighed relived before she attacked him again.

“But if it was just a mere injury there shouldn’t be any color surrounding it.....unless”

Xiaon li came close and tasted the blood, it tasted sweet that means the arrow was poisoned but what kind of poison even though it was sweet it was also had some water-ish flavor. Aha... it was IQIYI.

IQIYI is a special kind of poison, it wouldn’t be active until someone pulls the object it was contained in which will make it release in the body for awhile until it spread around.

“You have been poison.” She looked up as she met his eyes that just opened right now. Wow, he was really handsome. With his sharpe like a knife and soft like jade face. Anyone would melt.“Can you save me?” He murmured as they both came back to reality.

“It will be a shame if someone as handsome as you died now. So, I will save you.” The guard was blown away by the Darence of this person in front of him.

“There is a bag over there could you bring it.” He came back to reality when the beautiful miss looked at him.

“You will be rewarded greatly, if you succeed in saving me.”

“What will the reward be?”

“What do you want?”

“If I say I want to marry you, will you?”

“You..”

Xiaon lu wanted to laugh at the way he reacted, his whole face was red.
