'..I don't want to brag or make anybody jealous but...I can still fit into the earrings I wore in highschool.'

The entire room filled in laughter and applause as Virginia finished her speech.

'I would now like to invite Mr. Falcon to give a speech on this very beautiful day on reminiscence of Batch-13 of Leon M. Goldstein Highschool For the Sciences.'

With that Virginia, the former President of the student body got down from the dias. Mr. Falcon; our former mathematics teacher got on the dias. Man how much we loved his classes!

'Well I'm glad to be here today. Honestly after you all left I got no student to teach. Do you know why?...'

Mr. Falcon looked at us for an answer but we didn't know the answer. So he begin again..

'That's because after you all left I didn't got any dumb students like you all.'

The whole room filled in laughter once again. Casey stand up from beside me. Casey was once the most sarcastic clown of the class.

'Sir and you know what, after I left from here I never got punishment in the class. Because the lecturers of the college had more patience than you.'

Casey commented. Well the fact that he was once the most sarcastic, still didn't change. Even after 10 years the room echoed the same amount of laughter as of 10 years before. Maybe if it was 10 years before then he would have gotten punishment once again but this time Mr. Falcon wasn't angry. He laughed and then all of a sudden a tear trailed down his face. The whole room felt silent. Casey stood there with a grin, but his eyes were wet. Mr. Falcon continued again..

'With the passage of time, looks like its been 10 years. Now that I think about it I feel like I was more of a counselor for you than a math teacher. I still remember when you all bunked the class to go and watch The Proposal. But at the end you all got caught by the headmistress and got detentions and I had to save your sorry asses. Man I was really pissed at that time but now I really miss those days. I'm really grateful that I once had such an amazing batch.'

With the end of the speech the tears fall down from his eyes as if he was holdin' them for years. The room was filled with smiles of memories and silent tears.

Well now that I think about it..Highschool kinda sucked for us. There were people we cared for, people we hated, people who bullied us, people we never wanted to meet, again people we met but could never forget even if we tried a thousand times, people whom we aspired to be like and last of all people whom we loved. But actually highschool didn't just only sucked for us, it even sucked for the people who made it suck for us. We had to go through a lot during that time. But sure enough even if through hatred we all got someone beside us during those bad days, let them be friends or enemies. We made our bond strong through all of those and made a little world only for us. Now it was six of us back then right? Yeah..six. But look at the present. Its only me and Casey. Well maybe that's what happens. Life just went by. We were too busy to build our own lives that we never got the chance to take care of those little things like a meet-up. Sure we were still friends after highschool, but we never met each other that much. We had a group in social networking sites. But we even stopped texting that much after some months. Eventually we fall apart. Some promises that were meant to be kept weren't kept at the end. At the end no matter what or how strong our bond was we couldn't defy destiny... right?... At that time, we did everything we can so that when we looked back after 10 years, we don't have any regrets. But now after 10 years when I'm finally looking back even though I pursued everything I could in those 4 years but still there are some regrets. Regrets like..why didn't I pushed through to have meet-up every month. At least then we could have meet each other, at least then I could've meet Alex. Even though we promised that we won't forget each other and we will wait for each other even after 10 years. I'm still waiting but is he? Now... we don't even talk anymore... Not like we had a fight or something... w-we just fall apart...like that. Maybe we were a little too busy to make our dreams come true that we forgot the beautiful moments of those 4 years. At that time we were rushing to finish high school but now everyday we pray for only one thing 'If we could go back to those 4 years'. In the end we had to admit that those 4 years were the best years of our life. But now those 4 years are just a distant memory of our 'Youth', even if we want to get it back now, we can't. Even though we tried our best but in the end we had to prepare ourselves to say 'Long time no see' if we ever cross a familiar face from Batch-13 of Leon M. Goldstein Highschool For the Sciences, on the road side. How did it all even begin with....?
