"FINALLY im home " Kaia sighs deeply as she enters her apartment after a long day at her part-time job. It was an exhausting day for her after taking the last final exam of her high school she took her day off yesterday (yes she did work during her exams too) only ended up working extra 4 hours today because of the unexpected leave. Even though the owner of the cafe might be rich and good friend of her uncle he is little harsh to his employee. After changing into comfortable clothes not even caring about dinner and showering she lay on her bed to check her social media "right, nobody cares not even a single person remembered my birthday" she did receive a call from her Uncle but it was yesterday him wishing her in advance besides that there are no new texts from anyone, everybody in school talked to her so they can copy her homework or she'll be bullied by them but still she was expecting a message from one or two of her classmates whom she talked a lot in school but not even a single soul did. All she needs was someone talking to her about her day or just something that makes her smile? A sudden idea pop into her mind "oh wait! why I didn't think of this earlier I can always make an online friend at least it would not hurt me when they don't care" as she Installed the most popular chatting app excitedly and signed up in it as a Kai not wanting to reveal herself anything in a new app and setting her pfp with a meme picture which she had a whole album in her mobile gallery after that she decided to read the online books it was  9:30 already after few hours she woke up feeling something heavy in her neck....her phone as she realized that she slept while reading, she then turned off her mobile screen to sleep she needs good night sleep to wake up early to do her chores.

current time: 1:20 am

Kaia wakes up at the notification sound of her phone at first she thought to mute it but what if it was an emergency text from any friend of her? she unlocks the screen only to find a direct message from someone called mork in that new chatting app that she installed yesterday.

Kaia doesn't know why she even talking to this drunk gay dude at 2 in the morning but one thing was sure he was kinda funny and she kinda liked him like this even though she said not to text her but she knows that it's not true at all.

Kaia giggles as she received his supposed to be angry text, forgetting already that it was 2:15 in the morning she quickly closed her eyes to sleep, thinking that she should have installed this app earlier if it means for her to chat with anyone she wants to without any following and adding friend issues like, it requires in other apps.

Marc wakes up suddenly hearing a loud voice of his friend Felix who was screaming at the top of his lungs as soon as he realizes it's Felix he sighs thinking that Felix probably had seen a lizard again in the bathroom. He was about to go back to sleep but again he jolts up hearing loud bang sound of a door slamming open of the room "What the heck is your problem dude let me have my beauty sleep!" Marc yelled at his friend but instantly shut up when he saw Felix's panicked face. "MARC RUNNN!! WERE GOING TO DIE!! THE HOUSE WILL EXPLODE SOON!! I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MY FIRST KISS! I SHOULD HAVE KISSED THAT UGLY TOAD-LOOKING GIRL AT THE BAR YESTERDAY OHH MYY GOsH RUN MARCRONI!!" Felix was all sweaty and running around his room and packing his most expensive clothes whereas Marc was half laid on the bed just keep staring at his friend questing if Felix has lost his mind after realizing his crush was lesbian? "WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?!? OHoh, wait......wanna kiss??!" Felix asked Marc hoping that he could lose the virginity of his lips before he dies but completely ignoring his question Marc asked with a simple "what happened?" Felix just realized that he has been dreaming about losing his lips virginity that he completely forgot that the house soon going to burn down "oh! Back-your-pack as soon as possible and I'm ready with the car keys fast!! We don't have time- look, I....i...it was an accident! I just tried to make breakfast-" Felix tries to convince the kitchen incident to his friend but is cut off by "did you just fu**ing enter the kitchen?!" Marc asked shocked and ran towards the kitchen not even bothering to receive an answer. "Oh my goodness" the kitchen when Marc entered was all filled with smoke he turns on the kitchen fan and opened the windows and turns of the stove and put the frying pan which was still above the stove to the sink. But the smoke coming out from the microwave wasn't helping his efforts to lessen the smoke even after turning it off so he decided to take out whatever is in there. To his surprise, his boneheaded best friend had the food bowl melt in the microwave and the smoke was from the burnt styrofoam plastic bowl.

Marc sighed shaking his head as he saw Felix who was hiding behind the kitchen door peeking at him cleaning up the mess he created. "Don't just stand there help me out you dipsh¡t!" As Felix heard Marc scold at him he sprinted towards the opened window to clean them making sure to himself that there is enough distance between him and his mad best friend. Marc rolled his eyes watching his best friend avoiding him "you didn't just ruin your mom's expensive kitchen decor but also my sleep, my morning, and also my pretty hands see it's just so dirty like your face" at this Felix gave him an apologetic smile "I thought I could learn from my past experiences in the kitchen.... but thanks for saving bro I thought my this one will lead to the end of my life. This was the worst experience that I had in the kitchen, you do know why I make breakfast by myself right? I-" "I let the chef take his day off because I don't want him to know that I bring someone drunk in my home," both Felix and Marc said at the same time "that's why I help you because somewhere in your deed I'm responsible too," Marc says as If its the obvious thing whereas Felix busted out laughing at himself for repeating his same silly excuse as always do to experiment with kitchen equipment, "but dude I seriously wanna make food by myself for once in my life" Felix whines like those cute anime girl just for Marc to cringe at him "in your dreams" with that Marc left the kitchen to take a shower.

just as Marc walked out of the shower he saw Arlo, one of his friend has texted him.

Marc does remember he texted Kai last night but something in his mind is tells him that the Kai he thinks is not the Kai he texted how in the world he(Arlo) replied if his phone's battery was dead? was he too drunk to not notice that?

That's what Marc needs to clarify his suspicion, he checked his last sent texts hurriedly there were lots of hi's and a good morning's from random girls but the one dude name 'Kai' in another chatting app that Felix had Installed in his phone with a fake account in it left him on seen at 2:15 am. Marc read every exchange of messages between them while having trouble whether he should laugh at those memes he received or cry at his embarrassing sent messages he revealed not only his sexuality but also Arlo's secret to this kai dude. Marc took a deep breath massaging his temples while trying to memorize how he comes up with texting this unknown(kai) dude then suddenly it clicked in his mind last night he searched for kai instead of Arlo in his phone contact but when the search results showed nothing he then searched 'Kai' is another chatting app and this is how he ended up embarrassing himself in front of a stranger at 2 in the morning.

After talking to Arlo, Marc was curious about this dude why'd he keep texting him instead of blocking him or ignoring him? Not like he has his real picture in his pfp "Was he making fun of me? Is it because we had matching pfp? Or just genuinely enjoyed talking to me? Maybe he wanted to keep me company? No why would anybody do that, sacrificing their bedtime for a drunk person? What if he knows who am and my father?!" The series of unnecessary thoughts keep bothering him that he doesn't even realize it's half past one in the afternoon. At last, he ended up questioning himself why he was even bothered by his drunk texts it's not like they both know each other right? They are strangers who just happened to text online. But as a gentleman he is, he decided to say at least sorry to him for disturbing his sleep well 'beauty sleep'. He had never used this phrase until today and Marc knows well why.

the message he sent was straightforward but didn't get any replies for 6 hours until then he keeps himself busy with entrance preparations on preparing for the college. Kaia on other side walked out of the shower. Saturday is the busiest day of the week for her to work that she didn't even get time for a proper lunch. She smiled thinking about Sunday, tomorrow she can rest peacefully at her apartment, despite living in a small apartment it's all dark and silent at night so whenever she had to make dinner she plays music on the speaker to replace the creepy environment with hyped-up music. She unlocks her phone to set the music but the notification that says 'mork sent a message' caught her attention and she smiled thinking of the drunk texts she received this morning.

Marc's phone dings with the notification as soon as he realizes it was from Kai he immediately types to response.

Marc instantly regrets what he had sent just now 'I sound so desperate to convince her...sh*t!' he decided to delete it but it was already seen by her it's worthless now. He just wants her not to think of him in that way like some creep telling his origin of being gay when it's not even been 10 minutes of texting her and he already told her this much. Marc was scared of her getting the wrong idea again 'oh God! what if she thinks that I tried to convince her I like girls too and am interested in her?!' and the way she is taking time to respond is raising his anxiety level high. How just a stranger on the internet can make you feel panicked like this?

Marc was thinking of a way to respond perfectly without being creep this time before he sends anything he got another text. Where Kaia understands what he wrote was in all panic mode and she tried to make the situation less awkward with a fun question.

Marc laughed at the memes he was getting, he didn't know he would love memes while texting until now it's not like his friends don't text with the meme but why it makes him feel special receiving from this girl? 'whatever maybe because she is a thoughtful girl??' Marc thought to himself.
