I am Catherine Gales. I am the owner of JL Agency which has given the film industry most of the prominent actors and actresses. I have started this big company from a scratch and I am not going to let anyone ruin all my hardships. This company belonged to my dad but then it went bankrupt. It fell down and it was no longer considered to be an agency. But I, Catherine, have always been someone who is determined to do anything that was seemingly difficult and impossible. My dad fled away, leaving my mom and me in a run down apartment. I was almost fifteen by then. My dad never returned. Now, all I have in my life is my mom whom I love very much. I have worked hard all these years and made this company the best of its kind. But I never let the feeling of pride enter in my life and ruin my happiness. I never even once thought of living a luxurious life. Because wealth brought with it enemies in the face of friends. That is the reason I have less friends. The ones I have are the ones I trust the most than any other. Because they have seen me survive through the dark days and cold nights. I owe them a big deal for staying by my side all this time. I have never involved myself in any lovey dovey relationship with any man before. All my life, I had countless of man throw themselves at my feet. I have been called pretty and kind hearted by many, but all those people seemed not to know the difference between being pretty and wealthy. People try to become my friends. But don't they just love my money?

Love is something that humans have forgotten long ago. Even I have forgotten what it means to love and what it means to be loved. The only love I know is the love I have for my mom and my close friends. Because they my only relatives left on this planet. I have relations from my father's side as well, but they only aim at my properties. No way they are gonna get them.

My mom sometimes talks about my marriage but I just hate them. My mom even scheduled days for meeting some people, but I just delayed it off saying I was busy. The more I try to stay away from unnecessary people, the more they find ways to get near. I prefer living a happy life. Because I already have people I want to keep safe within my heart.

Getting down to business, the JL Agency, aka JL Corp. is the biggest company yet in country A, only second to Augutus Empire, which has its hands down to every possible business. They sure do earn a lot money. But they lacked a talent agency. JL Agency was offered to join hands with Augustus Empire. The CEO of the big foundation, James Augustus sent his assistant, Ed NiColes to have the contract signed by me. It was clearly written there that the company would be no longer be under my supervision, but I will surely be the head of that sector. Does he think that it's enough to allure me to join hands with the cunning fox, James.

Talking about James Augustus, almost everyone know that cunning man. He has deceived many and betrayed a lot. No one knows about what he's planning to do next. Far and wide, he's known to be handsome, arrogant, cold, bossy and heartless. Ruthless and merciless are the word people use to define him. I have him a few times in TV. He appears a lot in news as well. People talk about how much perfect he is, having both looks and wealth. He has countless lovers. Every week we can hear about him meeting a new actress or some girl from the royal family of country X, in front of a five star hotel. How many girl's virginity has he taken? And how many girl's life has he ruined? And I don't think those all those girls had problem anyway, having that worn out dustcan fulfill all their desires.
