"Claudia... You'll going to marry Vincent!" Father said ordering me to marry someone that I never even meet before.

"What the hell!Dad I even don't know who the f#ck is Vincent!" I said angrily throwing tantrums like a child.

"Sweetie calm down...okay!" Father said lowly and he close the door behind us letting no one hear our conversation.

"Dad I know Mom set me up with that guy. I don't want to get married with some idiot who doesn't know me!" I said looking at him angrily. I know this is my Mom's idea to get me married to who ever rich family that needs our help like just he did to my brother Arthur. My brother is like her puppy who doesn't know how to bark but I am different from him.

"Claudia... listen carefully your mother actually give you a choice to choose from would you get married to Vincent or move out of the house?" He said I know my father won't let me move out of this house even though I would like to.

" Father you know already my choose but you still ask me... I don't want to be like my brother who didn't make his own choose and follow Mather's word and now look at him that girl is just dragging my brother down! " I said angrily yelled at him.

" Okay, since you have your discussion now go! before your mother gets home." He said and I hugged him for the last time.

" Thank you father for saving me my life. " I said like I am going to die if I get married I don't want to like my brother who doesn't have his freedom.I know this is hard him to let me go just like that. My father is like my bestfriend who hang around with me and play videogames almost everyday.

I rushed to my bedroom and pack everything I could. I put everything especially my gaming gadgets and a little bet of clothes. I drag my bag to my car and drive away far as I could I know my mother will find me but she will need to catch me. I can't do anything about it because I am just a mere chess piece she can use to get what she wants.

I drive and drive until I get into a small city far away from home called Rochefort-en-Terre. I think I'll be fine here for a short period of time. I know this is going to be hard for me to start my very own life that I want no servants, no annoying mother and finally being alone. I know I am going to miss my father and my crib there but I'll get over it.

I park my car in the near grocery store and I get out to look how nice this city is. The air is very fresh like just in the mansion and the street are like inside a book you know very peaceful village with a lots of flowers there houses made out of cobblestones. There houses is like, there old but sort of nice and they are also colorful.

I hear my tummy growl. I remembered that I didn't eat my breakfast before leaving my home. A very delicious scent is calling me form a bakery just right behind me. I entered the bakery and everyone looked at me like I am a something that they never see, even once.

"Hi! I smelled something delicious from the shop. What is your newly baked pastries?" I said and smile at her. Ignoring her rudeness of staring at me.

"Miss, Hi!Are you okay?" I asked and waved my hand in the front of her face. What's wrong with her?

"I'm sorry about my daughter... We just don't see white haired people normally." A guy just get out from the kitchen.

" Ahh it's fine I get it... I just want some freshly baked pastries from here. " I said and look down to the floor. I know I am not normal just like them. "Why I am born to be an albino?" I questioned myself.

"I just finished baking the red bean donuts." He said to ease the awkwardness around.

" Yeah! Can I have a dozen of it please." I said and put up a smile.

" Okay, sure just wait in there." He said and point in the table near the window.

I sit quietly. I look around I really like to stay here but seems everyone doesn't like me. I forget that I am not normal how I wish to be just like them who doesn't have white hair and white skin. This is me I can't change just because they don't like me...they can like me for who I am. I see someone approaching me and it is the girl from the counter.

"Miss this is your order. It will only cost 3 dollars." The girl from the counter said.

" Okay, here keep the change." I said and give here 50 dollar.

" Miss this is to much. " She said and stop me.

" No, that's not to much. " I said and walk outside of there store.

" Sorry and thank you!" She yelled at me and I look back at here she is smiling at me.

I walk around the city and I see two beggar asking for food. I stop in front of them and look at them.

"Can you spare me some money to buy food?" She said and look at me like a wet puppy.

"Yeah, want some donuts?" I said and offer it to them. They both hesitate to answer.

"I'm not a ghost and I am also eating this before your going to tell me I put something on it." I said and open the box then I take a big bite.

"It's really taste." I said while eating the donuts. I offer them again and lucky they take one each.

"Why are you being good to us?" The boy asked me.

"Because I don't want seeing you begging for money to buy food. I also like to be friends with the two of you." I said and smile. I sit next to them.

"Do you want more?" I offered them.

"We can't accept it anymore because this donut from the shop is really expensive we don't have money to pay you back." The girl said to me and she look away.

" How could 3 dollars be that expensive?" I asked myself wondering this cheap food are so expensive for them.

"I don't want anything from you except to friends with you so get some more." I said and look at them while we all eat together.

"Older sister what's your name?" They asked me.

"My name is Claudia Diana Crimson. What's your name?" I said.

" I am Thea and this is my older brother Dan." Thea said.

" Where's your parents?" I asked them both.

" My father dead in the war and my mother just dead last year." Dan said.

" I'm sorry to hear that." I said and everyone is silent.

"Where do you live? " I asked them.

"We both live in a small house in the hill that's our old house that my father brought." Dan said.

We talked and talked the time passed by just like that and it is already night.

" Are you hungry?" I asked them and stand up from my sit.

" No... thank you but we're good. " Thea said and her tummy betrayed her by growling so loud.

" Come on. Let's eat at the restaurant. " I said and they shift there heads left to right saying no to me.

" Shssst... Dont you worry it's for free. " I sighed and smile at them I am quite disappointed that they won't go and eat with me.

" Come on..." I said and I help Thea stand from her sit.

They follow me slowly and I get to the nearest restaurant.

"No pleasant allowed in here!" The guard stop the two children I am with. I stop and look at the guard badly.

"Who said they are pleasant? I demand you to immediately call your manager. " I yelled at him. I know I can't just order anyone in this city but I can't stop my anger. They are my friends.

" Sister Claudia don't fight with them because of us. " Thea said sadly and they begin to walk away form the restaurant. I followed them.

"Hey! wait for me!" I said and they stop. I am catching my breath.

"Where can we eat without those bad person?" I asked them and smile.

"We thought that you'll leave us starving Sister Claudia. " Thea said with a low voice.

"How could I both leave you? we're friends. " I said and pat Thea's head.

" Sister Claudia we know a please were we can eat." Dan said and they but grab my hand then they start pulling me.

We stoped at the food truck who sales burgers. There burgers smells fantastic you can smell the onions, grilled cheese and the patties it makes my tummy starve. A kid looked at me like I am something and then she shouted at me.

"Ahhh... A ghost!" She said and I look around looking for the ghost.

I heard the kid shout at me so loud saying I am a ghost.

"Hey, kid I'm not a ghost... I'm just special." I said and smile.

The mother of the child grabs his hands and move away. I need to get use to people looking at me like I am a ghost. If I am a ghost then I can be Chasper the friendly ghost.

"Hey, do you like something?" The food truck vendor asked me.

"I'd like 3 champions..." I said.

"Are you sure you can finish it?" The man asked me.

"Of course, I can and I'm not eating alone." I said and look to Dan and Thea beside me.

"Hi! Dan... Hi! Thea..." The man said and wave at them.

" Hi! Uncle Frank... " The kids smile and wave back to him.

" Are you family?" I asked looking curious at them. If they're family then why is he letting this kids begging for food.

" No, but they're late father is my coworker at the army. I want to help them but I also don't have money to feed the two of this. I have family too." Frank said and I see sadness in his eyes I know his telling the truth.

"Can you be my Uncle too?" I asked.

"Don't you want to be my daughter? I have a son." He said making a joke at me.

"Nahh... I love being single." I said and smile.

"Ahh my son is unlucky... she won't have a pretty girlfriend." He said and he ruffles his son's hair.

"I'm sure your son will find one." I said making a glance at his son. His son looks cute with his long hair.

After a while the burger is cooked I thought it is just small because they all look small on the picture but it is really big that I can't finish this. The burger smells so good that you can really smell the onions and the patty.

I only pay 2 dollars for the three burger and I also leave an extra tip for his family. I can't really believe that the food here is so cheap that my money in my wallet can never make me starve for life. I don't need to much money to waste in this place.

We take a sit in the near fountain it's clean very one in this place is neatly arrange from plants to houses. I wish I'm not in my silly dreams again. I pinch myself and it hurts so this means this is real. I take a big bite of my burger and in my mouth I feel like my taste buds are having it's own little party. Patty is not so greasy and tasty and the cheese is melting in my mouth and the onions are making the burger a little bit spicy.

After eating and chatting, me and the children part our ways. They go to there house and I get back to my car. When I reach in my car I see a bunch of boys looking at my car snapping pictures. I know it's bad driving a Lamborghini anywhere it gets to much attention but this is only car under my name, I can't drive the Toyota it's under my brother's name and I can't get arrested for driving a car that isn't mine.

"Hey! can you move aside please." I said and walk near me.

"Why would we do that?" The guy with a blonde hair asked.

"Because I asked you to." I said with a little bit of sassy.

" How dare you asked us to move? This is my car!" He said and look at me badly.

" Your car then how is the key with me? " I said and turn on the alarm on my car.

" Were wrong sorry. " He said and they back out from my car.

I get inside the car and I hear them talking about me. Who cares what they think about me. I wish I won't ever see one of them but I guess I would bump into someone.

I drive the car around the city looking for a hotel or some apartment for rent. But this city doesn't have vacant hotel rooms or there hotels are just so small. I parked my car in the alley I'm just going for a walk to look some inns or apartments that is available.

I randomly see a poster that says apartment for rent. I call the number in the poster and they accept me as a tenant even though it is already 10:00 pm.

I look for the place and see the apartment. I hurried and talk to the owner.

"Hi! I just call about a minute a go." I said and smile.

"Ahh...you're the young lady that I am talking earlier." The owner said.

"Yes,Do you still have vacant apartment? " I asked.

" Actually this apartment building is just newly renovated so the apartments here are not so full. " He answered.

" How's going to live in the apartment? " He asked. He looked at me with curiosity.

" I am... the one who is going to rent your apartment. " I said and his eyes widen then he chuckles.

" You, kid this apartment is E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E... expensive." He said and spelled the word expensive in my face. How rude of him. Does this guy think that I can't afford paying the rent it maybe just cost me a couple thousand dollars per month. For me it's just cheap don't forget I live in a mansion before.

"Don't you worry old man I can pay for it. Does this apartment have parking lot? " I asked and give back the rudeness he just have me. I don't want to be rude but he just gave me the attitude that I don't like.

" You know how to talk Miss and Yes we have parking lot inside. " He said then he beeps the key card he is holding.

The huge gate automatically opened. The inside is so spacious and it looks like a hotel with plants and vines crawling in the wall. It have a lots of plants but they don't look like a jungle. It even looks like a paradise a valley of plants to be exact.

"Can I have that apartment?" I said and point in the second floor the last apartment from the right. It probably have a very nice view from there to look at the plants.

"Sure, but that apartment have 3 bedrooms." He said.

"Then I'll get it." I said without hesitation.

"Does anyone live in here? it looks like no lives here." I asked him while looking at the surroundings it so peaceful, not just peaceful it feels like a cemetery kind of peaceful.

"Don't you worry the first floor is full and the second floor have 3 tenants already." He said. The building is up to 3rd floor I'm afraid there's a ghost there.

" Okay, you said so. Give me the contact I'll sign it now because I want to move immediately." I said.

I immediately sign the paper after reading it the monthly payment is just low, it only cost me 5000 dollars I have tons of money isn't the problem. The problem is that where could I put my car that no one will see, they would say I'm a gold dagger and I mine gold with some old fart.

"Here's the key Miss Crimson." He said and pass me the key of my new crib.

"Thank you! I'll move in now." I said and move out of his office immediately. I still fell bad that he said the word to me earlier that I can't afford his apartment.

I walk through the hallway and it's really quiet here like no one is leaving here. I can say that because the rent is expensive as he say for a normal person but I am not. If there garden isn't so nice like a paradise I won't sign the agreement right away the garden makes my heart feel like I am somewhere in vacation. And if he doesn't provoc me to sign the paper.

I entered the apartment and turn the lights I see a fully furnished living room with a huge flat screen T. V and small sala set with couch, curtains, pillows and coffee table. It looks like a hotel for the first glance that you can see things are will arrange.

I walk past the living room and see the kitchen. I open the cabinet and see it already have pots, pans, knives, plates and almost everything you need, but the kitchen doesn't have exhaust fan I always need exhaust fan because I always burn the food I make. The counter is so nice and clean even though no one is living here.

Next I entered the rooms one by one but the room that I want is the Master's bedroom it's so spacious and it has a lot of containers that I can put my clothes. It also have a full body mirror and near the bed it has two small cabinets and lamps on top. The Master's bedroom is facing the garden. The bed is soft as a cloud. I look inside one of the cabinet and see couple more pillows and blankets inside. The glass window is sliding so I need to make sure that it's look so that no can enter my room.

I am done checking the place so I get out to get my car. I walk at the streets, the streets looks like a ghost town cause nobody is out and you can see a plastic bag flying in the road. Luckily the lights are still on so I am not that afraid to walk alone in the streets. I heard something whispering in my ear and a cold breeze blows. I walk faster as I could because I feel goosebumps all over my body.

"Where did I park my car?" I anxiously asked myself.

I keep pushing the button of my car key so it would beep if I am near it.

*Beep *beep

Thankfully I found my car and drive back to the apartment. I hurriedly get out of my car after parking it and tuck my self in the warn and cozy blanket in the bed. In that time I won't care if the bed is clean our not. I fall to sleep immediately after the long exciting and exhausting day of looking around this city.

*Knock *knock

I heard a loud knock from the sliding door. I try to open my eyes but the sun is already up it flashes my eyes and forced me to wake up.

It knocks again so I follow the noise and it leads me to the balcony in the living room. It's just a big parrot who is just interrupting my precious sleep. I look down and I can't see anyone. I think this parrot used to live here because it's knocking early in the morning.

I am planning to start my day when I see a guy calling the parrot from my balcony and it is the same guy that who claims my Lamborghini his.

"Shine....whoot...whoot.." He called it's name and whistle a couple more time.

"Is this your parrot?" I asked him while I am still in the balcony looking down to him.

"Yes, Are you the lady who owns the lambo?" He raised his voice at me. His like shouting I can hear him I'm not deaf or something.

"Yes, I am... And your the lair from yesterday, who tries to claim my lambo?" I said and chuckle while teasing him.

"Okay that's me... Now can you give me back my parrot?" He asked me nicely.

"Nah, I don't want to just leave it here and look for a new one." I said and walk inside the apartment. Ignoring him.

The parrot follows me inside. I just let it get inside my apartment because it doesn't look like a will trained parrot. I just leave my balcony opened so it can go later if it wants to. I get back to sleep since I am still sleepy.

A few minutes there's a knock disturbing my sleep again. As I try to ignore the knock gets more louder and louder. I walk up to the door then open it and give him a death stare.

"What the hell are you? Are you thinking about disturbing my sleep again?" I asked angrily.

" Did someone disturb your sleep miss?" A guy wearing eyeglasses said.

" No, sorry I'm just having a bird intruding my house. I thought that you are it's owner." I said and fix my attitude.

" Is it the white parrot?" He asked curiously.

"Yes, How did you know?" I said and look shocked that he knew it is a white parrot.

" It also interrupt us when where new in this building and the owner of that parrot is Gabriel." He said.

"Ahh okay! Are you friends with him? Can you tell him to get his parrot?" I said.

"Yeah, sure I can get that parrot out of your apartment." He said and get something out of his pocket.

" Cookies..... " He yelled and the parrot hurried flops it big wings and it lands on his board shoulder. He gave the parrot a cookie and it looks like it likes the cookie.

"Yummy.... I am cookies..." The parrot said and happily eat the cookie.

" Thank you for getting the parrot out of my apartment... I'm Claudia by the way." I said and offer him to shake my hand.

" I'm Wayne" He said and take my hand. I thought he would shake it but he kissed the top of it. If feel my cheeks getting hot.

" Wayne like batman" I said and smile.

" Yeah, btw before I forget my mother asked me to give to this." He take a jar full of cookies out of his backpack.

"Wow... Thanks a lot... And I'll return this jar after I finish it." I said.

"I need to go nice meeting you Claudia." He said and wave at me.

Is he not surprised that I don't look normal that I have white hair and pink eyes. If he isn't surprised he is the first person who see me without contact lenses.

"Wayne is such a cutie... he can be my lil brother." I said and eat the cookies.

The cookies are the best it's soft and the chocolate ships are not so sweet. I can finish this in just one meal. I turned on the TV and watch some movies. Some of the movies is not my language its Mexican just based on there accent. Watch the Secret life of chipmunks because it's english.
