After failing my first year this is my first day of school , I am not excited lol I feel bad for failing and resitting but at least I am not alone .

Almost everyone I know has failed , you may think it's strange but this must be related to the fact that last year classes were online and COVID-19 did cause some dommage to everyone's motivation to work .

Anyways my friend Marla is supposed to join me at the subway station at 7:40 Am so we can go in together since it's really close .

7:50 AM: she is still not here I am gonna call her.

she doesn't answer ,I hope she gets here in time ...

8:00 AM: Oh god the teachers must be starting explaining right now since it's the first day , what the hell is she doing ??? oh one metro is coming I hope she is in this one .

Marla gets off the wagon and she runs and we both start running to get to class as fast as possible , but as we are getting down the stairs this guy behind me steps on my shoe getting it off and I lose my balance falling to the ground. hopefully we were almost on the ground zone so I fell from two or three steps .

Marla rushes asking how I am and even tho I felt a little sore I was ok . So I said I am ok don't worry .

I was looking at myself checking for injuries when I see this the body of this guy kneeled down in front of me offering me his hand to get up .

I look up and sees this handsome asian boy looking at me sorry and relieved that I was ok .

"I am sorry I was in a hurry I didn't mean to walk on your shoe, are you ok ? , Can you get up ? "

He said calmly ,with a worried look in his eyes.

We were looking straight in each other's eyes and I honestly was completely lost in his . knowing my self I was probably a red tomato at that point hopefully Marla pinched me , so I snapped back and I said " oh don't worry , I am ok you should hurry to reach where you were going ".

He looked a little surprised at my response and said ," oh ok I am going then ,sorry again " and he went straight to uni .

Marla said laughing "did you forget how to talk? lol you were completely in awe 😂 " Wich I replied " don't even get me started lol he was breathtaking, too bad, he is probably not interested in girls like me 😂😭"

We then kept going actually I did hurt my wrist but I didn't want to tell him or alarm Marla since I thought it was nothing major.

we arrived in front of the auditorium on the upper entrance since we didn't want to pass in front of everyone . There was only one problem ... since we were the only two that late we really didn't have the courage to enter the auditorium but time was going so we decided to go through the humiliation and hope no one noticed us .

*pushing the door gently * we enter slowly and sit at the last raw hopefully the teacher didn't caught us ,or at least didn't tell us anything 😬.

The auditorium is almost full since it's the first day and Biomedical , veterinary , and medicine students are all participating at this lecture since it's the presentation and after they will tell us to Wich other class we should go to receive our respectful instructions about our respective degree.

Since I already know almost everything I am not really listening ,I am looking around hopefully to see the stairs guy .

And there he is ! in the same raw as us ! but on the opposite corner of mine , he probably entered from the other door .

I am so excited ,I wish I could talk to him ,but what would I tell him lol .

The professor finishes her speech and we can all go in different auditorium but actually bime students have to stay there ,so we were staying still until .

Professor: the two girls that came late please come see me a second down here .

my heart is about to stop omg , so embarrassing! will she yell at us ?

We get there and the teacher goes like ," I remember you girls both from last year so I think you should remember this time that if you are late to my class next time you should stay out . I will make no more exceptions "

"Professor I am sorry actually they are late because I made this girl fall on the stairs of the subway so I should be the one to be scolded , I am sorry "

"That's kind of you but but it doesn't change the fact that my rules stay the same , but did you get hurt anywhere ? "

" No , nothing major thank you teacher "

"ok then go sit at your places "

going up the stairs I tell him

"Thank you "

and says: " No I hurt you and you even got scolded that's the least I could do , I have to go now see ya around"

he goes up at the stairs and actually exits the auditorium.

Me and Marla sit back at our places

12:00 AM it's time to eat ! well we are not rich so we are eating things that we preapered from home but we want to get to the building F as fast as possible because there will be no place left at the cafeteria .

but we'll guess what ,it was already full so we went down to eat out on the garden but even the benches were all occupied

ah ! I remember a place that is a little hidden so new students shouldn't know about it so went there .

it didn't seem like there was someone so we head there .

O.M.G he was just there sitting and eating his luv h by himself , we were about to turn around and leave but he said ,

" you can stay I am almost done "

I replied " well you don't have to finish we can all eat together if you don't mind " ( I have no idea where on my body I found the courage to say that 😶)

But hopefully he said " oh it's fine by me "

se we sat down with him ...

We are sitting in silence ....

He is seated in front of Marla and I honestly think I am gonna die of embarrassment if nobody says something ...

I am generally talkative but not when a handsome boy is in front of me !!!

" in what year are you ?" kinda awkward but at least I said something , I was probably blushing at that moment .

" I am a freshman in Medicine and you girls ? "

Marla :"We are freshman too but in biomedical science "

Me :"you don't know anyone in here ? "

Him :" No ,not yet I just came back from my sabbatical year ,so I know no one yet"

Me :" well you can stay with us if you want ? "

until that moment I was keeping my eyes down because I didn't want to see his face and turn even more red , but I looked at him for a second and he was looking at me , our eyes locked again and my heart is beating hard ,like a mini heart heart attack ,

Him: " ok , I will do that then "

he said all that without breaking the contact with .y eyes , but I am not that cool and I was probably as red as a volcano by now so ,I looked down .and in a very awkward way 😭

He turns at Marla and says : "Your friend really blushes a lot haha "

Marla : " oh yes lol , she does in fact blush really easily don't mind her hahahah "

Him: " I don't mind " he looked down and softly said "she is cute "

at that moment I looked at him and he had a little smirk on his face and our eyes locked again , but I immediately lost contact because I was dying inside , I don't know how much more red I could become but my face was burning .

I got up and said " I am going to the toilet for a second "

both him and Marla started kinda laughing , I almost died of embarrassment , I went to the toiled washed my face hoping to calm it down but it wasn't easy , every time I thought of what happened my face would look red again .

after about 5 minutes I was able to calm down so I decided to go back

I found them talking comfortably , and joined them awkwardly 🙂

" what were you guys talking about ? "

Marla :" he is Korean and is 20 years old , and he has a good sens of humor lol "

he looked satisfied with the description Marla made .

Me : "oh we are all the same age , nice "

Him :" you are both 20 too ?"

Marla : " yes we failed last year so we are resitting "

Him " oh I see "

in my head I panicking because he might think we are stupid to fail .

Marla : " last year everything was online we had a very hard time and most of the students failed , also we graduated highschool without even having done our final exams due to Covid , we saw it coming "

Him:" yeah I know , that's why I took a year to study by myself and have fun at the same time , I excepted last year to be a mess "

Me : " yeah that was a clever choice "

it's time to go so we got up and separated.

he lastly said " see ya later" so I have a hope to see him later 🙈
