It was just a usual wonderful morning, I dreamt about my crush, we were dating -- happy, full of love. Other than that, it is the first day after the first school break. I am honestly just trying my best to have a better life this time -- I only have school, home and other friends and mom.

I lifted my cup of coffee, took a sip… Savoring my breakfast and wearing a happy face

I was dazed… Everything seems to be really perfect… Until --

Until my mom grabbed the wall clock, took off the lid from the battery box behind it and started removing it -- replacing it.

“Ahmm mom what are you doing?” I asked

“Well -- this clock stopped moving last night and I just grabbed the new pair of battery and replacing it now?” She said with her full pure innocence.

That moment I knew I was fucekd up 😅 😂 🤣

“MOM!!!!” I yelled… Rushed off to my room and started taking a bath.

I looked at the watch from my phone and saw that it was already 5 minutes before 8’oclock…

My first subject is by 8:30am Baka baka baka 😡 🤬 🤯

My mom -- she is amazing! She is the best and the strongest 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

She is the only one I have and I can't thank her enough. It is just that -- she is too amazing that she never questioned my decisions in life. Not even in the part where she should be alarmed that her kid is still having a sweet moment knowing that her class, MY CLASS would start in the next 30 minutes 😔😔😔

"Mom 😭😭😭 you should've at least informed me" I said while rushing my way to the car.

She was kind enough to give me a ride. It was really a neck on neck race I'd say...

I was able to get into the Uni, but for some fcking fortune my mom just dropped me at the entrance. I had to run and jump into the Uni service to get to my department's building.

"Wait up!!! 😱😱😱" I screamed my heart out and was lucky enough to be noticed by the driver. 

I hopped in and bumped into one of the students…

"Ouch 😢" The student gently said.

"Ohh shoot shoot 😨 I am really sorry" I held the student's hand but that person immediately snatched it.

"I am fine" The student stepped out and walked towards the registraition's building.

📍University Hallway

"Mickey!!! My LOVE!!! 🤗" Voice echoing the hallway.

"OMG!!! I super missed you! Let me see" The lady who was screaming faced me and searched my body.

Check -- still small

"Naya are you done?" I asked the lady who happens to be one of my closest friends. 

"I am very much satisfied! However, I need to be clear this time -- I no longer see you as my future prince 🤭" She said while smirking her face away.

We entered the classroom and she continues --

"So I went to the registrar earlier to si President Vince, my first love and check on him and then -- (she paused and looked out the entrance) then I saw my --" She froze for some reason and released an eekk sound.

"Oh holy SHIT!!! My love is here!" She yelled.

I looked at the back and I saw a familiar face. Naya was about to approach the student who just entered the room. I noticed that the professor was coming along so I did my very best to stop her.

"Oh **** Naya!! U r sooo energetic! Calm down, the professor is here!" I twist and stretch my arms a bit. 

You see -- my dear friend is a bit healthy and I love her for real… But, sometimes when she is too energetic I just can't stop her with just a pinch of strength. I have to go all the way with my might.

"My husband just entered the room Mickey, come on! Dude support me" She gave me a look of dismay while fixing her hair.

"Who? Professor Steban?" I laughed.

She just looked at me and rolled her eyes…

"You mean the student who just entered?" I said while looking at their direction.

"Yes! Yes! That's the one!!! I saw him in the register's building earlier" Naya's eyes were full of love… 

Like the usual…

"Alright everyone! Good morning! I hope everyone had a great quick break… Here with me is the new student who will be joining us -- 😊 Please introduce yourself" Mr. Steban gestured his hand and welcomed the student.

Everyone was quiet and waiting for the newcomer to speak.

I feel like some are a bit scared because of this student's look… No happy hormones -- too plain, no emotions…

So there… We were all waiting until --

"Hi! My name is Andy Park… I transferred recently and came from Shirigawa University. I hope we all get along" She smiled -- 25% kind of smile.

Like usual, the professor gave time for everyone to ask questions.

How tall are you?

"Ahmm 175cm I think 🤣"

Why did you transfer? I heard Japan is wonderful?

"It is -- but my family decided to transfer here because of the family business"

While everyone's busy asking their questions I was running around some thoughts in my head.

Is she a boy or a girl?

Is she straight or gay?

"Forgive me I have a lot to ask -- What is your pronoun? Are you dating someone? What is your major? What is your ideal type?" 

We were all shocked when someone asked a lot and it was just one girl who asked them…

For the very first time we saw Andy smile.

"Oh wow! That was a lot… Let see --

I go by she,

Not dating anyone,

I am still finalizing things before I can decide on my major and hhmm I am not really sure about my ideal type… Not that I don't want to share, I just go with the flow"😊😉

The girl who asked the question was Claire and she was analyzing the answer with her friend. What stood out the most for me was --

I knew it! I am 200% sure about this. She is a lesbian with androgynous face, just like Mickey.

Well yeah I am lesbian and yes I am categorize a girl with androgynous face. But, I became a lesbian not because I look handsome or something. Before I have learned the word androgynous I already knew that I like girls 😄😁👌🏻

"Will you sit beside me and become my friend?" 

I was sent back to reality with the questions I heard and to my surprise I saw Naya standing beside me. She definitely asked those questions.

She looked at the professor giving a look Can I sit beside her? kind of look and the professor nodded.

"Yes for both 😊" 

Narrator's POV..

📍Uni Grounds

“What the?” Mickey blurted 

Naya slapped Mickey’s shoulder for shouting randomly “Dude! What on earth is happening to you?” 😡

“I can smell lilac! AGAIN!” 🤯

Mickey looks really confused, she is actually allergic to pollen and because of that her nose became sensitive on flower’s scent. For the past few days she’s been smelling it -- in random places, instances etc.

“Don’t overthink dear… We are on the school campus and we have botanical gardens everywhere -- Just take a pill” Naya comforted her.

While they were walking Naya noticed that she had a jacket on her arms…

“Oh shoot! I forgot to return this to Andy 🥺” Naya said

“You were with her?” Mickey asked

“Hmm -- ahmm yep we were together, in fact I have a confession to make” Naya switched to a serious face “You see I find Andy as my husband even after knowing that she’s a girl. But, I don’t think I can handle her beauty anymore (took a deep breath) I will no longer be her wife and will just be a friend with her” Naya explained while clinging to Mickey’s arms…

While walking on to the main gate a good looking girl called Mickey and asked if she could go with her and have a talk. Mickey said yes without any hesitation not knowing that this could be a confession.

“Hey! It could be the reason why you smell Lilac” 😍 🥰

“What do you mean?” While checking her phone.

Naya explained the concept before Mickey went out with the girl.

📍Cafe

The good looking lady finally introduced herself.

“Hi! You may not know me but, I am Mizy from the department of arts -- 2nd yr and I’d been liking you since we were in secondary school. Please go out with me” Mizy looked down while clenching her lips waiting for Andy to answer.

Mickey looked around and found something that made her shiver to the core…

It was Andy, she got her hair shorter and still the same girl. But, for Mickey’s eyes she became more attractive…

Suddenly there’s a scent of Lilac again… Mickey recalled what Naya said…

They said Lilac is the scent of “Blossoming of Love” or “Love at First Sight”...

Mickey figured one thing -- she is smelling the scent of Lilac everytime Andy is close or everytime her heart is pounding because of Andy’s present.

“Mizy, I find you really attractive -- in fact you are really pretty. However, I don;t think I can give you the same thing or like you back the way you have it for me” Mickey looked her straight in the eyes and said those words...

That night Mickey visited the chapel and talked to his dad who passed away a few years back.

Mickey was caught off guard. Her mom hit the nail on the head as they say…

Prolly it was not really a challenge, in fact there’s nothing wrong for Mickey to feel such emotion. It is just the society that she worries about. Most of all will she be accepted by Andy?
