Historically, an orphanage is a residential institution, or group home, devoted to the care of orphans and other children who were separated from their biological families. Examples of what would cause a child to be placed in orphanages are when the parents were deceased, the biological family was abusive to the child, there was substance abuse or mental illness in the biological home that was detrimental to the child, or the parents had to leave to work elsewhere and were unable or unwilling to take the child. The role of legal responsibility for the support of children whose parent(s) have died or are otherwise unable to provide care differs internationally. Here is the story of such a boy who was born with some great divine powers granted by Lord Shiva to save the humanity.

A couple named Ganga and Shripat were great ascetics of their time, they worshipped Lord Shiva for hundreds of years and finally the Lord himself appeared in front of them. They requested Lord Shiva to grant them a boon and the Shiva replied to that, "Ask me whatever you want". The couple don't have any child as they were following celibacy through their life so they requested Lord Shiva to grant them a part of himself as a boy who shall be the bravest man in the mankind and he will always work for the good of humanity. Lord Shiva was impressed by the prayers of Ganga and Shripat though he fulfilled their wish but with a condition. Lord Shiva told them, "Dear Ganga and Shripat, I am blessing you with a part of myself as a child but I want you to know something that in future exactly after 5000 years the humanity will be at it's worst stage. Each and every person will only think about themselves and they will kill each other for money, if you really want this child to have powers of saving humanity then why don't I grant you this baby at that time period?" The couple said with full faith, "As you say Lord Shiva, you're our God everything you say is as command to us."

The story skips to five thousand years ahead in 1997.Ganga and Shripat were named as Monica and Suraj in this era and they were both married to each other but in this modern generation they both were not a good pair, they use to fight everytime even their neighbors were upset with their fighting noises. One night when Monica was sleeping in her bedroom she saw a dream where Lord Shiva appeared in her dream and made her remember what happened five thousand years ago when she was living the life of Ganga. Shiva said, "Wake up Ganga I am Shiva, I have came here to fulfill my promise I made you 5000 years ago when your name was Ganga and you worshipped for me. I am blessing you a with a baby who will change the world into a better place. Exactly after 8 months you'll give birth to him and you must name him Rahul." And the Lord disappeared, Monica suddenly woke up from sleep and thought that it was just a dream so she didn't tell anything about this to her husband.
