This is where I, Mei Gonzales study. Disregarding my name, I am a male.

This is the type of academy where it is hard to enter and easy to leave.

Yes, you get expelled if you often make mistakes.

This academy's full of rich kids, average kids and not so poor kids.

Every night, as I fall asleep, I forget everything, that's why all these feels new to me.

I've been here for 7-8 years now, and the headmaster still treats me differently.

In other words, he still hits me on the head every time I make mistakes, so I tend not to make any ever again. Thanks to my parents I was able to enter here, although they aren't my real parents, I love them so much.

This is an organized academy, each student is classified by their ranks.

Ranks are based on numbers, with it's highest 1 and lowest 100. 

Believe it or not only 1 student ranked 1 and 2, let me introduce them to you.

Santiago Lucas Rank 1, top of the whole academy. He is smart and popular, being famous is everything to this guy.

Tanya Campbell Rank 2, popular mean girl, I mean...if that's accurate enough.

She's the headmasters daughter, so anyone who dares to hurt her gets expelled. I'm sick of it, believe me.

She is abusing her power. She is the girl version of a playboy I guess...I see her with different guys all the time.

The others, still has a long time to rank up. Oh right! I should probably tell you how we rank up.

Our scores in every paperworks and activities reflects to our merit points. If our merit points drop to 0,

our ranks are demoted, but if you have lots and lots of it we can participate in activities using our merit points to achieve something. The more achievements we have, we rank up. I guess that's all....

If you ask, we have dorms here too. Students with the same rank stays in one room, be roommates or something like that. Since we only have 1 student who ranked 1 and 2 each, those lucky rascals have the whole room to their selves. I could've quit this school if it weren't for my friends. I mean where is the equality??

The only two reasons I'm here is because I want to help my parents after I graduate, and because my friends are here. I'll introduce them, 

Isabella Blackwell, daughter of one of the largest companies: Blackwell company. She's is rich, but that's not why I befriended her. She was kind and caring. I just hope our difference in status won't get in the way of our friendship.

Carlos Himes, Unlike Isa, Carlos and I are both average people. We relate to each other more than we relate to Isa.

I mean she's rich, were average. I don't get her sometimes, neither do Carlos, but we always try our best, because she's our friend.

Carlos and Isa were my childhood bestfriends. Isa's family though, they know nothing about our relationship. Isa's parents has high standards, we were afraid that if they knew, They would take Isa far away from us.

They specially hate my face whenever they come to fetch their girl for some events. For some reason, every time I go out after classes ended, they would see me and avoid me. Nah who cares 'bout that.

On the other hand, Carlos' family and mine were the best of friends. They even left us alone at home to go to a café when we were kids. What good parents they are, am I right? They stay at home most of the time though.

Back then, they would ship me and Carlos, and I hated it. I mean I'm just his friend, I'm sure some girl would ask him out when we grow up.

Please don't laugh when I say I looked like a girl when I was a kid....

Mom would make me wear dress and stuff, and I never ever eveeerr want to go back to that time...

Anyways, now I'm going to tell you how everything started here...this is the PEARL ACADEMY...
