My name is Sylvester Argrey I'm 22 years old and I graduate in archeology.
My father thinks that what I studied is useless for my future because according to him I have a future mapped out since my birth, that of continuing the management of the family affairs as he is doing at the moment,like his father before him and great grandfather before my grandfather and so on and as the eldest son it's my duty.
But I can not imagine myself in a suit in an office with pile of documents to sign and meetings that last for hours without a break,etc...Me l like to be outdoors and free like a bird.
I'm stubborn, I think that's why I was able to study what I like instead of what my father planned for me.
That day my sister and I after finishing our swimming lesson we were playing with Eduardo our youngest brother when we heard our father's car parked.

My left ear went deaf for a moment and my vision also blurred.
In those instants of a second that seemed to me like an eternity of sufferings,I was in daze.
I saw my mother came between me and my father while begging him to stop hitting me.I didn't understand why my father was angry with me.
From there I lost consciousness.Iwoke up after 3 hours with a terrible headache.

After the slap and beating I received from my father,I dared not come down for dinner that evening because I didn't want to meet him.
I wasn't even hungry.That moment was spinning again and again in my mind and I didn't succeed to close my eyes the whole night.
