The protagonist let it be and told him to run away.
She knows the trouble it will bring if the “secret character got caught”
The protagonist had just reported it as usual but without the child.
Later on the novel a character starts helping the protagonist which he was called “Bel”
Later discovered he was the child at the house of the witch and it was found out he was part royal blood part elven blood.
No witch blood he was stolen from birth.
But nobody believed him so…
