Once a beggar was roming in the street of bagdad while roming he stood in front a large and beautiful house and thought the owner of this house must be a rich person.I expect Good food from here ' Thus,he went straight to the gatekeeper and asked his permission to go in for food he allowed the beggar to go inside and also told that he would get anything he wished .so the beggar was pleased and asked,who is your Master?''. The gatekeeper said ''my master is very rich and powerful person .He belongs to a very influential family of Bermisai. The beggar went inside .He reached a big hall past a beautiful garden. he was charmed to see the beautiful paintings and other decorative pieces on the wall . There were colourful curtains on the Windows and doors . Across the hall there was a beautiful throne and an old man was sitting on it .He beard was long and black seeing the beggar the old man said., yes , my friend what do you want? The beggar said''I am very hungry .l have not eaten for the last two days. will you please give me some food ? The old man said , Of courses you will certainly get food.It is a matter of shame for me if anyone is hungry in the city . Today you will have meal with me''The old man then asked one of his servants , Bring water in a pot for my friend to wash he hands , But when the beggar got up to wash his hands he saw no pot of water but the old man was acting as if he was pouring water form a jug the beggar understood that he was being befooled but acted as if he was was washing his hands then the old man asked the servant to serve the food .All the servents began acting as if they were putting dishes on the table But no food was visible . The old man acted as though he was eating and even asked the beggar to start eating seeing all this drama,the beggar was very disappointed.But even then he acted as if he was having a delicious meal. The beggar guessed that this man must have befooled many other people in the same way.He concluded that he was fond of doing this with all strangers. Then he told the old man,I have never eaten such a tasty food in my life "The old man asked the servants to bring some sweets for the for the guest.The servant acted as if they were servent serving sweets to the beggar . The beggar also acted as if he was eating them thereafter ,he said to the old man that he had eaten enough and did not want more . But the old man said you have to take a glass of wine with me and asked his servant to serve the wine to the guest .The servants again acted as if wine was being served . The old man acted as if he was offering a glass of it to the guest .so the beggar also acted accordingly and showed that he was drinking the wine .He even acted as if had drunk a lot because he wanted to teach a lesson to the old man. As if acting like a drunked , the bagger gave a hard blow with his fist to his host and repeated it thrice.The old man cride with pain,Oh you rascal ! why are you beating me?" the beggar said , "you welcomed me and served me delicious food . That was good . But after drinking wine I have lost control of my senses but you are so greater and kind.I am sure you would pardon me." To this , the old man laughed and said , I have been fooling people for a long time, but no one dared to behave like this . However ,I am happy with you and want to make you my friend . We will really take food now.Then he asked his servants to serve food .The beggar enjoyed the food and accepted the friendship of the old man . Since then , they remained friends throughout their lives.
