Being a cupid is sometimes hard especially for me because I am one. In my entire life being cupid I never find someone that is willing to stay for one person for to long. The couple that my arrows land to always stay for one week, I'm actually lucky if they would stay even for a week with each other.

It's always irritating when the other younger Cupids are moving into an actual one which means that I am just a provesionary. When in my life can I actually find a perfect couple.

"Sofia Hannah Valentine!" A strong mascular voice called me through the lobby while I am passing by.

"Ohh... Mr. Cupid, what can I do?" I said and smile. OMG did the other couple that I just hit with arrows break up again.

"I need you to my office now." He said angrily.

"Okay, Sir." I have a bad feeling about this and my hands are having cold sweat. They don't just called any provesionary employee except me.

"Sofia your a good employee but you seems to luck knowledge about love... and this is going to be youre last assignment. You are going to be fired if you can't make your last couple love each other until the end." He said with a fierce eyes. I see a lot of disappointment on it.

"Sir, Last assignment? but my family have been Cupid ever since the beginning." I said while holding back my tears.

"Sofia you have been keeping on making mistakes being a Cupid and the industry can't take any problems. Everyone knows that you Valentine's have been Cupid for decades but maybe you will be the end of it. I hope you understand and you only have one day to make this assignment." He said turn around his back at me. I know this time that I can't take anymore wrongs.

"Yes, sir." I get out of his office immediately before my tears are starting to fall from my face making me look miserable. I run out of the temple.

I suddenly bump into someone's hard chest. I slowly look up into his face and I see Damian. One of the son's of Voluptas. Voluptas is the only child of Eros ad Psyche.

"Yeah, What happened?" He asked me with a smooth and soothing voice.

I didn't answer him and just cry. I cover my face so that no one is going to see me crying it's so embarrassing.

"Don't tell me my Grandfather wants you out." He pats my head.

"Sofia he can't do that I'm sure he give your last assignment. What is it?"

I calm myself down and wipe my tears.

"He wants me to find a perfect couple." I said.

"Easy... come I'll help you." He smiled at me.

"Easy?easy for you to say." I said and look down.

He hold my hand as we go to the human world. The lights on the streets are lighten up as the moon rise above the sky. We go into a dark alley and he guide me into a bar with full of people in different colors and fashion styles. The music is loud as always and the people around is fill with lust and passion. This type of place people only find one night stand relationship so I don't go here as often.

"At the bar?!" I raised my voice on him.

"This place isn't bad... and maybe you can find your perfect couple here. " He said with calm tone.

"You know I don't like this such a place. " I said and look him in the eye.

"Sofia this place is the perfect spot for you to look around not all people on the bar just like one night stand. " He points in a girl that just sitting in the counter.She wears a long dress and a jacket. I study her for a while she looks sad I can feel that she has been cheated by someone she loves the most. I move near her so I can study here more as I can read in her demeanor she is a innocent and kind on. She takes a sip from her drink and I can see that she doesn't drink so much as her face frown when she takes a sip.

"Now, you find your female target then I'll let you choose what men she will have to end with." He said and walk leaving me alone in a crowded place. I feel anxious even though no human can see us angels.

"Which man should I choose for you? " I said and look around at the bar.

I see a lonely man sitting just in the counter and he looks sad and lonely. I wait and set just next to him to study but he is like a book that is coded and unreadable. So I just wait until he would calm down and be just like the others. You know who is always open when they get drunk. I have been sitting next him for all most an hour but he is still unreadable even though he have drank a lot of whiskey. I stand up and look for an more easy target with I feel his eyes looking at me like he could see me. I just ignore him and move to another man.

I see a man so happy but yet still sad in the inside he could be a good match with her if he isn't a jerk. He have girls wrap around his arm and taking sip from one glass to another.

I move and see a guy with eyeglasses he maybe nerd but a handsome one he looks cute and a perfect match with her. I take a sit for a while and see he doesn't have girlfriend as I eavesdropp in their conversation. He is innocent and have pure soul.

I hurriedly take a bow and shoot them both with an arrow of desire. There eyes meet as the girl is still shy and try to avoid the guys glance. The takes the first move and sit next to her. They're have a good conversation which is a good start in every relationship.

I am going away from them but the first man I choose stoped me by pulling my hand.He grip at my hand so hard that I can't barely move it out of his hand. I turn around and I see him looking straight into my eyes. This a mistake did he just see me. No human can see a cupid nor an angel.

"Congratulations, Cupid." He said and give me a devilish grin.

"Thanks and now let go of my hand, human." I said and try moving my hand out of his grip.

"Leaving so soon?" He said.

"Yeah, so can you move your hand away from me mister." I spoke to him rudely as my hand is really hurt.

He let's go of my hand all a sudden when I see Damian walking near me. I hold my hand as I covered the red marks from the guys hands.

"Are you done?" He said and look at me.

" Yeah, I'm done. Would you like to see my new couples?" I offered him so I can more away from that guy just now.

"Sure! " He followed me as I walk pass through the crowd.

My new couple is having fun by chatting with each other. The sadness on the girls face just went off like she isn't sad before. You can see in there eyes that they well stay forever as long as no once going to interrupt with there peaceful life.

"You did well, Sofia!" He said and look at me smiling from ear to ear.

"Thanks!" I said.

"Can we go now?" I said in a hurry so I can't see that man that just hurt me. I covered my hand so he won't notice anything.

"Are you going anywhere?" He asked me. Wondering why I am such in a hurry.

"I am feeling unwell and I need to rest for a while." I said and walk out of the bar. The smoke is making me dizzy and the loud noise are starting to hurt my ear I feel like it's getting louder and louder every second.

"Sofia, I'll take you back to Olympos." Somebody said and I feel my head getting heavy, and my eyes are starting to sleep. I fell into someones arms because I can feel it's strong shoulders carrying me.

I slowly open my eyes and I see I'm back in my bed. My soft pillow makes me sleep again.

"What's wrong with her? She's been sleeping for the past days... I'm starting to worry about our daughter." Mother said.

"I never see someone with this symptoms before. Its like she is the first one." The doctor said while checking on her.

It's to noisy my head is waking me up. I wake up and sit down in my bed. Watching everyone look at me with an expression that they are surprised that I woke up.

"What's wrong Mom? I just take a nap and why is there a doctor?" I said and I wonder why they called the doctor.

"You didn't just take a nap you are in coma for 2 weeks. " Mother talked to me softly.

"Huh!? Yesterday, me and Damian goes to the human world for my mission." I said shocked from what I heard.

"Sofia, Damian was carrying you back from the human world." She said seriously.

I shut my mouth and try to remember what happened. My memories are too vivid and I can even still feel the pain mentally. I look at my hand and I wearing a gold bracelet that is never been there before. I try to remove it but my hand hurts the moment I take it off from my hand.

" What's wrong?" Mom asked looking at me worried.

" It hurts so much, Mom." I said and cry like a child. I give her my hand and doctor see if there's something wrong.

"I'm not in any cult but I read about this from the old textbooks. You are chained by someone that is different from us." The doctor said.

" Someone chained me and it is different from us? What do you mean different from us? a human, a god..." I said.

A sudden knock from the door.

"Sofia, I heard you just wake up." Damian said and enter my room.

He asked me if there's something wrong with me. He looks so worried like everyone else. Everything is settled and the pain went off when I put back the bracelet.

"Sofia, Would you like to get some vacation? I'll arrange it for you." Damian said and he is still worried about me even though the doctor said it's nothing much.

"No, I'm fine I'll go back to work after I get ready. Can you wait for me at the headquarters." I said and smile.

Damian followed my request without asking. I'm sure he is going to suspect me.

"Doctor, Thank you for not telling him. I would also like to keep it a secret for a while." I said and the doctor nod.

"Don't worry I'll keep it a secret but you better tell Mr.Cupid." He said and walk out of my room.

"I'll leave you alone, Sofia. I'll tell your father that you are fine now." Mom said and leave me alone.

I get up of my bed and take a holly water bath puring all my sin. Making me sinless and pure. I change my clothes and brush my hair making it silky and soft as my feathers.

I walk into the headquarters and Mr. Cupid is there standing with Damian it's normal that they talk but not out here in the lobby. I walk near them and signaling me to go away. I slowly retreat but Mr. Cupid still see me and called out my name and said. "Sofia!! Go straight to my office."

"Yes, Sir." I said and follow his orders. I walk straight to his office.

I wait and take a sit in his office. Not so long and Mr. Cupid is in his office.

"Sofia, I heard you collapse from your last mission from my grandson. I'll give you a vacation, you can't say no." He said.

" But Sir... I don't need a vacation." I said and he takes a vacation contact.

I forget he said that I can't say "no". Everyone is following him I don't want to cause a issue and I don't want to tint more my name. I just sign the paper after reading it carefully.

"Stop, Sofia. Where did you get that bracelet?" Mr. Cupid said and stare at my arm. Looking at me with curiosity.

"Sir, I don't remember clearly how this bracelet go to my arm... but this bracelet just come out of nowhere after I wake up." I said what's true to avoid more conflict.

"Did someone hurt you? When you have your last mission?" He questioned me.

"Sir yes, he just grab my arm the same arm where this bracelet is." I said. I report and tell him everything that happened during the mission.

"Sofia, I'll send you to the human world to look for that guy and make him remove your bracelet. That's an order." He said.

" Okay, sir but aren't Cupids allowed in human world with mission?" I said and look at him.

"Sofia, this is your life but I can make you a human for 5 olympian days that's equivalent to 5 years to look for that man as a human being. You can do what ever you want but when the 5th day comes you need that man to take of the bracelet himself." He seriously said.

"Can I keep my name and body?" I said because I don't want to be somebody else or go to live in those dead bodies.

"Yes, of course if that's the only wish you have." He said and he takes a different contact.

The contact states that I can only be a human within 5 years after that I will vanish if I can't complete the task. I hesitate for a second and think about what will happen to me if I don't take of the contact. In the second page I can read what will happen to me if I don't remove the bracelet as soon as possible. In the second page it well hurt me day and night until I just decided to kill myself because of the pain. The pain will spread not only spreed although out my body but it will also harm people around me. I can't put my family's life in danger, so I signed the contract.

"Get this medicine from the pharmacy." He passed me the paper.

"That medicine will ease the pain and lastly drink this table after you arrive in the human world." He give me a heart shaped table.

"Okay, Sir.But what will happen if I drink the table here?" I asked out of curiosity.

"You will go to someones body but if you drink that in the human world you can keep your body and everyone can see you." He said and explain even more further.

I do down to the human world to find that bastard who chained me. I am not his pet that he can just chain and I don't want to be his pet nor his prisoner.

I got to the human world and drink the capsule that Mr. Cupid just gave me. I didn't see that I am in the middle of traffic until a loud noice of horns beeping on me.

*Beep- * Beep-

"Hey, miss if your trying to die wear some proper shirt!! " A in the car in front yell.

I see my reflection in the mirror that I am almost semi-*****. I did really get used to just wearing my daily clothes that is made of thin silk. I hurry and cover myself the best that I could cover. I run out of the traffic and look for a shirts that I can use.

I walk and walk until I see some hanging clothes the same that what everyone is wearing. I put some shorts and I tie my silk fabric into my neck and into my ****** putting it like a sleeveless and try to put it like the girl that I just see.

"Sorry, for stealing your shorts." I yelled then I walk with barefoot until one man try to talk to me.

"Miss, your feet will hurt if you walk without shoes." He said polity. I can sense that he is just like every man I see a playboy who likes to hook up with everyone that wears skirt.

"Yeah, it does make my feet hurts a lot." I said although it doesn't hurt that much but the street is like I'm walking on fire.

"Do you want to go with me?" He asked me and smirk.

"If only you can buy me new shoes. " I said he is probably a man that have a lots of money seeing the way he dress up himself. It won't hurt if I just scam him a little bit for asking some shoes and money as far as I now money in this world is everything.

"I am buying you shoes my heart hurts seeing you being hurt walking barefoot." He sounded like he does care about me but I don't forget that man are good on sweet and flowery words. He carries me like a princess and bring me into his car. The car ride is quiet that he didn't talk and just look at me.

"I'm just curious what's your name Mr. Handsome?" I said and use hallucination on him making him hallucinate for what he desire. Luckily he doesn't have a driver because he is the only person who can see it. The other person may think that he is crazy.

"I'm Lucas Dela Vente, what's your name baby?" He said. My ear feel disgusted from the word baby.

"Don't call me baby, I'm not yours... BTW I'm Sofia Valentine." I said and act friendly at him.

"Sorry, I'm not claiming you Ms. Sofia... What job do you have if I can ask?" He spoke to me with a calming voice it makes me think if he is going to make me drown from the hallucination that I just gave him.

"I don't have a job, would you like to recommend me to some jobs?" I said so I don't need scam him, I still have heart you know.

"Well you can stay with me in my house and I'll give you anything you need." He said and look at me again with full of desires.

"Hmm... I can't do that. I can't keep on troubling you." I spoke with a cute voice and look at him with puppy eyes. I can't use my hallucination power again because that we'll make me weak for the entire day. I tried that before on Damian and I keep sleeping after.

"You're not a trouble, Sweetheart." He said and wink at me.

We arrive on a big shopping mall. I hope they have something that I liked.

"Sofia, let me carry you. " He said and open the door of his car. He slowly carry me like a princess.

"Should I stay with him? " I asked myself thinking that maybe I can use him for looking for that guy but what would I say. I even didn't know his name.

I snapped out of my thoughts when he asked "Sofia, what's your shoe size. "

"Hmmm.... " I don't know because I float and I don't need to wear shoes before.

"Sir, Madame I think your a size 9." The saleslady said and look at me.

"Get me that shoes, the exact same one." He pointed at the high heels in the window. It's pretty and it has diamonds it looks like it well cost him a million bucks.

"Yes, sir." she hurry and go.

After a while the saleslady came with the sandals it looks really pretty. He knee in front of me and put the sandals into my feet. He reminds me of the story Cinderella where there is a prince who looked for the maiden because he feel in love with her.

"Give it a try." He said and hold my hand.

I slowly stand then I walk. It hurts a bit maybe I just need to get use on wearing shoes. After walking a while it doesn't hurt anymore I feel like I'm walking on the clouds.

"How does it feel?" Lucas asked me.

"It feels comfortable... Thank you!" I said and smile.

"No, worries... Can you also get me all at the second aisle her size." I can't believe that he is going to buy me more, more than what I need.

"Lucas, you don't need to buy me to much." I said I feel so grateful already. I can't abuse him.

"It's only the beginning darling." He said and walk to the counter. I didn't say anything, I'm grateful already that I can't say anything that contradicts his words.

We walk and enter almost all the stories that have clothes and shoes. We even eat at restaurant that he owns at the mall. We walk out of the mall and it's already night. The starts are blinking they look like a ocean of lights.

"Where do you live, Darling?" He asked me. What we'll I say I don't have place to live in this human world.

"I... I don't have place to stay." I said.

"Then let's go to my house." He drive us to his house. It's very big that it looks like a castle. The maids lining up to greet there master. The butler even opened his car door. He walks towards my door and open it. He seems that he isn't so bad and spoiled by his parents.

"Everyone, Sofia Valentine treat her will." He said loudly that everyone can hear.

"Thank you, Lucas." I said and give him a sweet kiss on his cheek.

I heard maids talking about me. It's not bad to hear because there talking that I'm the first woman that he brings at him house. I since that his a playboy who likes to fool around but maybe I am not right.

" Mr. Fin please guide Sofia to her room." He said and ask the butler in a nice way.

"Ma'am I'll escort you to your room." The butler said and guide me into a very bedroom.

"Thank you." I said and smile gratefully.

He leaves me after saying that it's surprising that the master brings some girl into his house after so many years.

I run my finger into the table and cabinets it doesn't have dust. It's surprisingly very clean even no one's staying here. The servant's did really do there jobs well.

I go find the bathroom and take a bath. I turn off the shower and suddenly I feel lips kissing the back of my neck. The kiss is like butterfly sipping nectar in the flowers. I can't let him dirty me by doing sex. It's forbidden to do that as an angel of love, I still want to go back where I belong which is not the human world.

I push him on the bathroom wall. I tried to seduce him using my power and try to use hallucination on him but somethings seems not fine. My hallucination is only going to work when the prey is willing to be seduce by my seduction. It really doesn't work on him.

"Lucas, What are you doing?" I said and stop him.

"What am I doing? Isn't it clear.... You send yourself into my bedroom." Lucas said with the devilish smile. He makes me remember that guy from the bar who chained me.

"You're not Lucas! Who are you?" I asked him angrily while frowning my brows.

"You are not as stupid as I think you are little angel." He said and change his face into a handsome man with green eyes. His hair is brown just like the tree branch. If he could be a place he'll definitely be like a forest but his presence is like a lion who can eat me alive.

"You! Get me out of this chain!" I yelled at him.

"This chains are beautiful on you... Don't you agree?" He look at my arm like the chain he gave me is a bracelet.

"Why would I like it?" I said.

"Because I have given it to you." He said and smirk.

*Knock *knock

A loud knock from the door distracted and when I look back at him he isn't there anymore. He just vanished from the thin air.

"Sofia, Are you alright? You have been yelling. " I heard Lucas voice from the door.

"Yes, I'm fine Lucas." I said and put on a bathrobe. I open the door and look at him.

"Lucas, do you have a brother? because I just see someone who just look like you." I asked with hesitation.

"Well I don't have a brother I know I am the only child of my parents." He said and look at me curiously.

"Okay, maybe I am just tired." I said and look at him. I can see his rock hard abs forming from his wet shirt. I didn't see it earlier because of his suit that his wearing.

"Okay, rest well and if you keep staring at me I'll eat you now." He said shamelessly. I quickly look at the different direction avoiding his eyes.

"Sorry... and thank you for checking on me." I said shyly.

"No problem." He said and walk out of my front door.

I locked my door preventing someone or some kind of element to get in here. I continue on taking my shower and thankfully that shameless demon or what ever he is didn't show up again. I rest into my bed after making my hair dry. I can't fall asleep I am thinking if he would pop out of nowhere.

The sunrise hits my face and I slowly open my eyes. I see Damian standing in the window. I tried to called him but no voice came out of my mouth. I tried to hit him with pillow but it just went through him. I snap out of my dream when a someone rudely close the door.

*Bang

I open my eyes and sit in the bed looking at the window hoping Damian is here.

I hurried and get out of the bed when I looked at the clock and it's already 10 am. I should make Lucas some food as a sign that I really appreciate his help. Humans need to eat at least 3 times a day.

"Good morning, Sofia." I heard his voice while I am walking down the stairs.

"Good morning, Lucas." I said and smile.

"Come here let's eat." He said and order the maids to get some plate for me.

"Thank you, Lucas." I said.

We eat breakfast like I am a human. I tried some of his food and all of it taste delicious because it's different from what I used to eat.

"Sofia, Don't go outside there's a group of reporters looking for you." He said and get to his work.

"Mr. Butler, what does the reports have to do with me?" I asked the butler.

"Miss Sofia just watch this." He said and a black box suddenly became a magic box it have small people inside it.

"Flash Report: A goddess suddenly appear in the Town square. Does this have to do with YSM brand collection? Clearly the girl is wearing the same design from the brand did they just give a teaser for there upcoming new clothes for this session." The reporter said and there is a girl yelling.

"What the hell happened? I just get out for a day and YSM is already in the T.V." She seems yelling through her telephone.

"Madam, Good morning!" The Butler and all the servants greet her.

I walk upstairs and suddenly she noticed me. She walk near me and stare.

" Ohh...The goddess from the reports." She said and look at me up in down. Scanning me.

"Not bad, you just need some work and you'll be that goddess from the T.V reports...Who are you in the first place?" She said.

"I am Sofia Valentine... Madam I think you are Lucas's mother." I said.

"So you already know my son, Do you know how much damage you make for the company? What are planning to do to compensate us?" She said angrily.

"Please calm down Madam... I'll do everything to help because Lucas did so much for me." I said and look at her eyes.

"Good, I thought that you won't help my son. I don't know what happened both of you but you can call me Mom." She said and hold my cheeks. I feel like I am welcome to there family.
