17 year old Lily steps out of the black lemo. Her long brown hair blows gently in the breeze. She lets out a sigh, and takes out her notebook. With a beat up pencil she puts a tally mark, right next to the others. She silently counts them all. 13. This is her 13th home. “ Mom, Dad... I miss you,” She says tears welling in her eyes, “I wish you could see how these people are treating me, you wouldn’t stand for it.”

“ This way please Miss.” The butler ushers her into the gianormous house. With her head low she silently walks into the mansion. Her footsteps echo in the large house. Lily follows the butler up the stairs and to her knew room. “ I do hope you can settle in quickly, if you need anything just tell me it is my job!” He laughs, “ Thank you.” She says quietly. “ ... I don’t know if I should say this but, be careful. Okay? Especially around Haley, she is quite, how do I say it um distrustful? And, well she won’t treat you well, okay?” The butler informs, Lily nods , “Ok.”

Lily sighs and flops down on her bed. *Well I think I might have to take care of Haley,* she smirks at the thought, *if she thinks she can bully me then she must be stupid! I’ll just have to show her who she’s dealing with!* Lily tilts her head in thought, as she looks up at the ceiling. Lily has been through too much to be nice, and tolerate crap from mean people. She looks over at her dresser that has all of her unpacked stuff. The design was extravagant. She rolls her eyes *Rich people* Lily pulls out a picture of her, her mom, and her dad. A small sad smile settles on her face. “ What would y’all think of me now? I know y’all would me disappointed in me, I mean this is my 13th home. I’ve made trouble in all the others.”

“Wow! Hahaha! You Are a weirdo, I mean talking to picture? Haha!” A snobby voice says,Lily quickly sits up to see a girl around her age leaning in her doorway her hair is red and she has a disgusting smile on her face. Lily looks her up and down with a fierce glare. Haley had red hair, green eyes, and a good shape she was beautiful and Lily had to admit that but Lily quickly spotted her weak spot. It may have only been one weak spot but it definitely was a big one. Her ears. They were big and Mack her resemble a monkey! Lily opens her mouth to say something when she hears footsteps approaching her doorway, she quickly closes her mouth. A woman with red hair around her late thirties steps in with a sweet smile on her face, “ Lily! You’re here! Ohhhh I couldn’t wait to finally meet you I just couldn’t!” She runs over and hugs Lily tightly. “ This is Haley,” The woman says finally letting go, “ and I’m Mage Parsley but you can call me Mrs.Parsley or Mom! But you can choose. Ohhhh I’m so, so happy you’re here!” She sighs and walks out. Lily looks up at Haley and smirks.

Lily sits quietly at the long kitchen table. Picking at her salad she looks up at everyone else. To her right there is Rosie, she is 11 years old with chestnut blonde hair and wide green eyes, beside her at the very end of the table is Mr.Parsely he has brown hair and kind green eyes, to her left at the very end of the table is Mrs.Parsely, in front of Lily is Haley head down and glaring at her. To her left is Jacob, he has auburn hair and dark green eyes he is about 15 years old. He too, is looking at Lily with a scowled over face. She raise her eyebrows at him at plaster a sarcastic smile on her face, and stifles a laugh as his head shoots up and anger fills his eyes. “ Jacob! Where are your manners! You don’t just burst up at the table.” Mrs.Parsely scolds, “ B-b-but...” Jacob stutters. “ Ahem... so Lily tell us about yourself!” Mr.Parsely says. Lily thinks for a moment and say, “ Well my full name is Joy Lily Kensuke. I go by Lily now because it was my mom’s name. Um I’m 17, my favorite color is yellow, I love animals, my favorite food is steak and I have a huge hate for bullies.” Lily says and then looks back at her plate. “ Wow, that is all interesting!” Mr.Parsely said thoughtfully, “ Yeah it is!” Rosie says looking up at Lily with huge eyes. “ Well what was father’s name?” Mrs.Parsely asks, “ Jack.” Lily says quietly. “ Well since we’re all asking questions,” Haley says, “ why did your parents abandon you? Oh wait heh I forgot they died right? Just how exactly? Hmm?”

Lily slowly looks up fire in her eyes, “ Never talk about my parents again!” She growls, “ Or what? What will you do? It’s not my fault your idiotic parents died!” Haley laughs, everyone else at the table was has their jaws to the ground. Except Lily. She lunges across the table, taking Haley, they both stumble to the ground along with the chair. Lily quickly gets on top of Haley and starts punching her. Haley squirms away but Lily throws the chair on top of her. Lily grabs Haley’s arm and twists it behind her back. “ Ahhhh!” Haley screeches in pain. Once Lily let’s go Haley’s arm is broken. Mr.Parsely quickly grabs Lily and starts carrying her up the stairs. “ You should have died with them!” Haley shouts at her.

In her room Lily is crying. She looks up at the door, then out the window. I never should have come here Lily thinks. Down stairs Lily hears a lot of talking. After a while the door opened and Mrs.Parsely and Haley were standing there. Mrs.Parsely had a stern look on her face. “ Sigh look Haley I’m sorr- .” Lily starts but is cut off by Mrs.Parsely saying, “ Go on Haley.” “Ugh, fine! I’m sorry! I’m sorry for what I said!” Haley groans, “ Good now you can go.” Mrs.Parsely orders. Haley stomps down the stairs. Mrs.Parsely sighs and says, “ I’m so sorry about her!” Shocked Lily says, “ W-w- wait you aren’t getting onto me?” “ No! Of course not! Haley deserved that!” Lily looked at her wide-eyed and speachless.
