I am forever grateful to my parents, my dad who sacrificed all material and social pleasures to give me a sound education, my loving mum who against all odds believed in me, and stood by me when no one else was there, my siblings who believed so much in me by not discouraging me, I salute your support.

PROLOGUE

To attain ones purpose involves an unflinching tenacity of an ebullient and profound character. The threshold to ones purpose is enmeshed with maladies, endurance, disappointment, rejections and due process; no wonder the numbers of people who found out their purpose and are living in it are few, very few. It is a popularly said that “everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die”. Human beings instinctively jettison sacrificial living, forgetting that we are on earth to give. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The quality of profundity is not gotten in a day; but it involves a gestation period of years. It is almost impossible to make it to zenith of success with a poor self image. A healthy self esteem precedes the attainment of greatness.

For once purpose to be achieved form any vice or shackle requires some strength and determination. It is appalling, the number of people living under the assumption that noting good can emanate from them and at the same time wishing to be famous. I don’t write to entertain, but to address and solve serious problems. I believe there are too many real problems to be dealt with been that one’s purpose is critical and fragile, which therefore needs to be protected, so my aim in this book is to address the serious problems of mediocrity and poor self-esteem in other words lack of understanding courage to get to their purpose and also maintain been in their purpose. It will amaze you the number of people perishing in penury and obscurity, is due to lack of knowledge of their self worth. The number of people making history will keep dwindling due to the pervasive mediocre mentality. Most people think they are what people call them, or what their situation reveals; but you are more than what people think you are, or your situation. You were created in the image of God; your self-worth is in alignment with the worth of your creator. There is no human being on earth that is worthless, there is something unique and special about every human being. Lou Holtz said, “What I can’t believe is that God put us on earth to be ordinary. What lies behind us and what lies before us are trivial compared to what lies within us. Being worthless is manmade. So is the atomic bomb. The only reason anyone would feel worthless is because he/she has being programmed to feel so; but once you get the knowledge of your worth, you on the way to greatness.

I want to use this book to equip people suffering from low self esteem to make it through their dreams and live their life to the peak. To sufficiently do that, I will have to expose my losses and my struggles. Nobody can take you through a problem he/she has not solved before, I will tell you, there was a time I thought nothing good could come out of me. I thought I was born a loser. I thought successful people were destined to succeed while others like me were destined to fail. My life was pathetic, but the good news is that I realized my purpose in life and it is left for me understand it then live in it, and then to me there is no one that cannot find theirs. Whatever is possible for one is possible for all. This book will teach you ways you can find that purpose of yours, struggles, challenges that comes finding it, and ways to overcome them, I left no stone unturned, and I used the holistic approach. I really over flogged the problem of low self-esteem, because a healthy self esteem is a prerequisite to your purpose. You can figure out that purpose of yours and live in it with a poor self image.
