Episode 1
Katherine
I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing from my phone.
Katherine
It’s been a few weeks since I moved in to this apartment and today’s my first day at a university as a transfer student.
Katherine
I sighed as I took the time to look around my new room.
Katherine
I was happy that I moved to a city I’ve always wanted to go to.
Katherine
Although I didn’t know anyone here, it wasn’t that much of a change for me.
Katherine
Neither of my parents were at home, always working at their office or overseas.
Katherine
I grew up with the caretakers of the house that I now consider my own family all my life.
Katherine
I miss them but I’m glad to finally be able to spread my wings and become more independent.

I groan as I get up and finally start getting ready for class, nervous about the new university.

I felt refreshed as I walked through the university grounds.

It was bigger than the previous campus i attended but luckily, I have a pretty good sense of direction.

It was nerve wracking but I was excited to attend classes.

This university was known for their arts program and my passion is music and arts.

I'm a cello major but I enjoyed singing and dancing as hobbies.

" You can do this, Kat..” I encouraged myself.

As I walked towards the arts building, I noticed that a lot of cameras and people were crowded at the front.

" Um, excuse me..." I asked the people crowded in front to move.
Katherine
They didn't listen to me at all, only focused on the car that had pulled over.

"Excuse me!" I raised my voice, wanting to pass through but couldn't because of the pushing.

" Ugh, go away! I was here first.” A girl sneered at me.
Katherine
“I don’t care which moron you guys are all waiting for!” I was getting really annoyed. “I just wanna go inside.”

A whole bunch of girls looked back at me as soon as they heard what I said.

" Arthur isn't a moron, you psycho. You better watch what you say.” one of the girls said.
Katherine
Before they could say anymore, the so-called Arthur had gotten out of the car, making everyone pay attention to him.

I frowned as I took a good look at the guy everyone's been obsessing about.
Katherine
“He’s not even that cute.” I muttered quietly to myself, rolling my eyes.
Katherine
As I turned away to finally get to class, I saw him stare at me for a split second. A faint smirk was on his face.
Katherine
I shook my head and started to speed walk to class or else I'd be late for the first rehearsal.

The orchestra was playing for a couple of the huge sponsors as well as the freshmen aiming to play next year.
Katherine
Even though this was supposed to be a practice, everyone had to be on point.
Katherine
Especially me, who had gained a grant as a solo cellist for the school.
Katherine
I had to give my all to make sure that the sponsors were happy about picking me.
Katherine
Despite the pressure, I was having a lot of fun doing what I loved to do since I was a kid.

The school of music was never afraid to do performances that weren't usual

This year one of the rock bands joined the rehearsal performance to earn more funds.
Katherine
I was very usual for me but i definitely love how different it is.
Katherine
Apparently a certain group of sponsors encourage creativity that isn't conventional.
Conductor
"Ladies and gentleman, The AMI, the August Brothers, and Ms.Katherine Pierce.”
Katherine
I bowed in front of everyone very happy about the first performance of the year even if it was a rehessal.
Katherine
The conductor called me over to talk with the sponsors about the performance.
Katherine
As I reached the panel of people who clearly looked wealthy, I noticed a group of boys my age.
Conductor
" Katherine, come meet the leading sponsors of the school... "
Katherine
I was shocked to see that the gentleman my conductor was talking to were a bunch of boys in their 20s, like me.
Katherine
One of them was that annoying Arthur guy from this morning.
Conductor
"Genltemen, I'd like you to meet our star student this year, Ms. Katherine pierce."
Conductor
"Ms. Katherine pierce here is the recipient of this year's grant for gifted artists."
Conductor
" With her representing the school, I have high hopes we'll win international trophies again this year."
Conductor
"I'll let you all get acquainted while I talk to other students." he smiled and left.
Katherine
I felt a bit nervous being around these guys... They were only my age and there's something naturally intimidating about them.
Edward.
"We're very pleased to meet you in person Ms. Pierce!” a tall, broad shouldered guy shook my hand.
Edward.
"My name is Edward. I really loved your performance. "
Katherine
"Hi." I smiled and shook my hand, not sure what else to say. Everyone looked like models.
Alex
"Hey, I'm Alex! Do yo wanna collab sometime? " he beamed excitedly as he shook my hand.
Katherine
"OK, sure??" I was surprised by how hypes Alex was but I was happy some of them seemed friendly.
Mikel
" Hi, I'm Mikel... Sorry about our cousin.." he smiled sheepishly. " he doesn't know boundaries."
Katherine
"It's ok! I think it's always fun to collaborate with different people so I don't mind." I smiled.
Oliver
" Alex's a classical music junkie so he's a bit much sometimes." another person chimed in.
Oliver
"I'm Oliver. It's nice to meet you!" he smiled politely at me.
Sebastian
"Sebastian Moy... Pleased to meet you." I noticed how cool and laid back he was compared to everyone else so far.
Louis
"Hi, I'm Louis! Nice to meet you, Katherine." he shyly smiled at me.
Katherine
"Nice to meet you too!" I can tell he doesn't seem to be too comfortable with people.
Katherine
I finally turned my attention to the last guy I was looking forward to meeting.
Episode 2
Katherine
There was something about the way he looked at me that made me feel unsettled.
Katherine
His eyes almost looked predatory as he looked at me and I can't help but feel nervous.
Arthur
"Aurhur... Nice to meet you, Katherine." his voice sounded like velvet as he offered a handshake.
Katherine
"Nice to meet you too..." I sent like there was static as I held his hand.
Katherine
I took a deep breath, trying to calm down my beating heart before everyone could hear it.
Katherine
"If you guys don't mind me asking... Aren't you a little too young to be sponsers?"
Mikel
"Oh, it's our families who are the sponsors..We stand as their representatives coz they're always busy.
Katherine
"Oh, I see... Please extend my thanks to your families for giving me the opportunity to play here."
Katherine
"It's truly an honour and I'll do my best to not let you guys down."
Alex
"No worries, Katherine! You have our full support!" he beamed at me.
Edward.
“Ok, guys we need to get going.. See you around Katherine!" He waved as he nudged everyone.
Katherine
I waved back and watched as everyone walked away.
Katherine
I shook off the strange vibes I was getting from everyone, especially Aurthur... I needed to focus.
Katherine
This University was big so I was sure I was probably not gonna run into them often.
Katherine
I walked in to my intro composition class, excited to try out a new course.
Katherine
As I take a seat at the edge of one of the tables, a girl next to me introduced herself.
Davina
"Hi, I'm Davina! I don't think I've seen you around here before..." She smiled.
Katherine
I smiled back and introduced myself to her, happy to see a friendly face.
Davina
"I don't usually introduce myself to people but you seemed nice.. I hope we can be friends."
