Today was my so called 18th birthday or should I say the starting of my "Nightmare". which I never knew will happened today.

My parents send me off to the so called "Chosen Zone". Which is every woman who turned 18 today will be send off there. As me and the other chosen one's stand on our each places wearing a white dress that only covers half of our thighs as we waited for our mate's, which I don't believe that exist.

as I tried to think about how to escape as time flew fast. I suddenly thought about a risky idea to escape which is almost impossible but I don't have any choice left I can't just stand here waiting for my death.

I hear some noises around the place while my parents started to cry quietly.

After a few seconds there's some people and werewolves started going out of nowhere, "wait people?" as another question pop inside my head.

The werewolves turn into their human form and started to go to their mates and those so people or whatever they are, did the same but I guess my calmness didn't last long as one of the so called people smiled showing it's fangs as everyone's eyes widened with shock that when we realized those people are not humans they are vampire's*!

Everyone was so terrified as I take the chance while my mate haven't arrived yet as I secretly run towards the forest. I run towards where my feet could bring me. I realized someone was actually following me!

I keep running and running but he is coming closer! I'm not ready to die yet!

The wind is cold, my feet is tired but I still keep running faster. I accidentally trip over a fallen branches. I struggle to get up but I felt someone lift me up.

And pinned me down in the tree. as I feel someone's breath under my neck. I wanted to escape from his hold but I can't it's to tight. I struggle again to escape.

He look at me eye to eye.

Which terrified me. As my eye's widened in disbelief. His pupils are red like blood! but most importantly is he has fangs!

He sense my gaze as he hold me tightly and then he smelled my neck near to my collar bone. He place his fangs to my neck to where he smelled it. I started shivering as I tried to struggle but still no effect.

When I was about to stop struggling from his hold. He quickly sucked down my blood.

I pleaded him to stop "Please stop!" I said while tears started streaming down my cheeks. I tried to push him away but I can't I'm too weak. He whispered to my ear saying "The more you struggle the more, it will hurt."

It felt like my neck was pinned down by countless of needles as tears stream down to my cheeks. I close my eyes to relive the pain. I hear him mumbled something under his breath but I can't comprehend it. I feel dizzy I tried to open my eyes but I can't, my eyelids is too heavy. I can't see anything, I don't have a choice but to let the darkness took over me.

STRANGER'S POV:

I saw her trip over a fallen tree branches. She struggles to get up but her small fragile body is to weak to do so as I walked towards where she is. When I get near, she froze after sensing my presence as her blood's aroma called me to come to where she is. I gritted my teeth to control the blood thirst but I can't. So I took the chance and lift her up.

As I pinned her down to the tree and lifted her long straight red hair to her back. As I once again smelled her blood's aroma and let out my fangs that is ready to bite her.

I let the thirst control over me as I sucked her in the neck near to her collar bone, I didn't waste any drip of her blood as I enjoyed tasting her sweet blood bit by bit as I lost control I knew she would collapsed if I keep sucking her blood so I slowly remove my fangs against her neck and licked her neck gently until there's no more traces of blood left.

l watched her as she tried to open her heavy and sleepy eyes as she lost her consciousness in my arms.

l carried her in a bridal style as I run fastly throughout the forest. Soon enough we reached my car. I opened the door of the passenger seat and gently placed her there. I close the car's door slowly wanting not to wake her up. I got in and stared at her for a few seconds before starting the engine and I drive my car.

After 2 hours we reached our destination as I stopped the engine and got out of my car. Once again I slowly opened the passenger seat's door as I opened the car's door. I saw her sleeping beautifully. A small curve formed into my lips as I carried her in a bridal style and slowly sneaked into her room throughout the window as I gently place her to her King sized bed after removing her shoes.

Her small fragile body laying in a king size bed comfortably. I stared at her for a while realising she looked like a beautiful lost Goddess. She have a beautiful dazzling face and a long dark red beachy wave hair with a long curled eyelashes and a perfect shape of body. I heard her tried to mumbled something as if she had a nightmare.

After few minutes. I decided to go back to my place since the sun is almost setting up. I gently carries her reddish cheeks as I carefully kissed her in the forehead not wanting to wake her up I slowly left her bed and walked towards the window I once again stare at her sleeping posture before completely leaving her room.

ASH'S POV:

Some loud noise ring beside me as I tried to open my heavy sleepy eyes. I looked around and I was surprised why am I in my room, the loud noise keep ringing beside me as I turn my head to the side where my phone keeps ringing.

I picked it up and check the caller's ID. I couldn't help but chuckled softly, it turns out it was my bestfriend Lexi. Who was calling me. I quickly answer her call. As she said loudly "Hey, dumbass wake up! I've been calling you since early in the morning but you never answered the phone!" I couldn't help but giggle softly before responding to her sentence "Well I'm sorry I've been pretty busy lately that's why I forgot to answer your calls." I said hoping she won't find out I lied. she responded quickly saying " Oh really huh?your so bad at lying it is obvious that you had just woken up because of your husky voice" she said while laughing at me as I couldn't help but laughed at myself too and she added " Well you should get ready before I barged into your house wildly!" but before I could respond she quickly hung up the phone.

As I looked at my clock realising it is already 4:30 in the afternoon as I tried to remember of last night's event but I couldn't the only thing I could remember is when I run fastly in the woods. I still have many questions in mind that is hard to answer as the questions keep ringing inside my head driving me crazy.

I sighed out of relief as I said to myself "I should calm down beside the only thing important is that I successfully escaped from that nightmare." I said to calm myself down as I remembered that I still have to attend some Charity ball since I take on our business yesterday. When I turned 18. I remembered leaving my parents alone in the chosen zone while I was escaping. I quickly open my phone and texted my parents to let them know I was safe and sound. I quickly got out of bed and head towards the bathroom as I hold the cold doorknob and opened the door through the bathroom and head inside.

As I looked at my face in the mirror I couldn't help but smile, after staring at myself for a few seconds. Then remove my clothes and soaked my small body inside the tub full of water and rose petals with candles around it making the view looked more gorgeous.

after taking a nice bath. I got out the bathtub slowly and gently wore my silk bathrobe as I walked passed the mirror.

That's when I realized there's some kind of hickey or bite mark on my neck near my collar bone on the left side I walked towards the mirror with wide eye as I got closer to the mirror. I realized it was a vampire's bite mark!

I almost jump out of my bathrobe because of shockness as the memories of last night started to appear inside my head. I started to remember one by one as my eye's widened.

Questions began to pop into my thoughts, questions that is hard to avoid. I tried to calm myself down and decided to forget about those negative thoughts. I walked closer to the mirror and touch the bite mark and to my surprised, it doesn't even hurt a little I decided to cover it up with a concealer.

After covering it up and then I walked towards my closet and look some clothes to wear after picking a dress to wear. I let my red silk bathrobe slip down to my clear white skin as it falls on the ground softly without making a sound.

After changing I look at myself in the mirror I couldn't help but smile of satisfactory knowing that any of my relative will not recognise me in this outfit.

I was wearing a red silk dress that showed my curves and my deep cleavage that almost make my boobs pop out of my red silk dress. That can only cover up half of my thigh as I paired my red silk dress with my red high heels.

After staring myself in the mirror for a few minutes. Then I applied some scarlet red lipstick on my plump lips as I stared at my tattoo in my collar bone which made me look more good.

I got out of the bathroom and went outside to my room and went down stairs and saw my bestfriend waiting for me in the living room. I smiled at her as I walked towards her direction. Her smile are ear to ear when she saw me walking towards her direction.

She walked towards me happily with a huge smile on her face saying "Wow! girl, I almost couldn't recognise you!" She said in a praising tone with a tight hug. I couldn't help but chuckled softly. I knew she couldn't wait any seconds to talk to me and then I replied to her saying "You are becoming more beautiful day by day" She laughed shyly while we're walking out of the mansion.

As we make our way towards my Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Car.

As I watched Lexi's face full of surprise. I chuckled softly while saying "This will be our ride tonight" Then I added "Just the two of us" Her smile becomes wider her eyes filled with excitement after letting her stare at the car for a moment. I decided to head in as I said to her "Hop in! I said before starting the engine. I was sitting in the driver's seat while she sat on the passenger seat.

After 2 hours we reached our destination successfully without any problems or accident.

I turn off the engine and got out of the car and head towards the passenger side to open the door for Lexi as we both make our way towards the ball's entrance

but before entering some man approached me asking "Are you Ms.Anderson?" As I looked up the man Infront of me up and down.

He has a good shape and a

handsome face, he is also young and tall as I once again looked at him. Up and down as his outfit for tonight caught my eye.

He was wearing a luxurious black suit with a Montblanc Héritage Chronométrie Watch on his wrist that is paired with an Oxford Shoe.

MAN'S POV

As she hurriedly respond "Oh yes I am" She said in a curious voice as she look at me. Up and down thinking deeply about something.

I couldn't help but be curious about what she was thinking as

I broke through her thoughts as I introduce myself "I am William Mill-" as she broke through my sentence saying "Let's discuss business inside" after saying that. She turn her head towards her friend's direction giving her a sign to come here.

LEXI'S POV

I walked towards Ash after seeing her giving me a sign to come.

I couldn't help but sigh helplessly.

Knowing that William Miller was here today. These few days there is some rumours going around saying that his wrong doings to Ash had been discovered by the public. I knew what he is planning. It is written all over his face and he still dared to come to this Charity Ball even after being exposed to the public!
