It all started on the first day of the second year of high school. Kathleen was on her way to school as she normally did, when a boy apparently the same age as her, runs by so fast that it messes up Kate's hair, she can't even see the boy's face.

Kathleen- Hey! Look where he's running!...tsc, because of the speed he went through he must already be halfway around here. How can anyone run so fast?

That said, she gets up and makes her way to school. She arrives at school and finds her old friend from the 1st year.

Kathleen- Leena!?

Leena- Kate!! I was looking for you, how was your summer?

Kathleen- Normal even, and yours?

Leena- I went to my mother's beach house with my family

Kathleen- (Oh yeah, I had forgotten she's the richest in school) Cool, now let's go in if we're not in big trouble

They enter the campus on their way to the main hallway.

Leena- I had forgotten that the campus was so big.

Kathleen- Yes, and beautiful too

They keep walking until they find a bunch of people whispering as someone passes in the main hallway, a boy apparently.

People- "Wow he's so handsome lol"

People- "Yes, I think we already know who will be the most popular in the school this year lol"

After all that fuss, Kate and Leena wanted to take a look to see who was the boy who was causing such turmoil at school. They passed in front of him as they were going the opposite way. They can see his face for a moment, and at that moment he looks at Kate making her heart sink, as if she's known him for a long time. After that he goes through them normally as if nothing had happened.

Kathleen-Leena, did you feel it too?

Leena- Felt what?

Kathleen- A feeling... powerful... almost as if he was superior to everyone here...

After saying that she looks at the boy's back still walking

Kathleen- No, not only from here, it's like I'm superior to everyone...

After Kathleen says this, Leena is scared and confused

Leena- What?... what do you mean?

Kathleen- I don't know, I just... feel

Leena- Okay...this is very strange. Now let's go to class because we're already...10 minutes late!!Kathleen- Really?! I didn't even realize the hallway was empty!!

Leena- Neither do I!! Let's go!

They enter the classroom and everyone looks at them

Kathleen- Sorry teacher, I got dizzy in the hallway and my friend helped me

Leena- ...Can we stay in class?

Teacher- Ok, since you've admitted the mistake I'll let you in. Sit in the empty chairs next to the windows

Kathleen- Ok thank you

The two walk towards the chairs when they notice that everyone is looking at someone behind them, and when they turn to see who it is, they run into the boy in the hallway

Kathleen- "It's that weird boy from the hallway!"

Lian- I am what?

Kathleen- (Did he hear me?!)

Kathleen- Nothing

They sit down and finish that class and all the others in the morning. At lunchtime, they visit the cafeteria and take their food and sit at an empty table

People- Lian, you don't want to sit here with us, rigth?

The boy walks by and pretends he didn't hear them and goes to an empty table

Kathleen- "So his name is Lian..."

Leena- Earth calling Kate, wake up woman

Kathleen- Sorry Leena, I'm really tired for some reason, I'm going to sleep for a bit and then you wake me up ok?

Leena- Alright...

In Kate's dream, she wakes up in a forest at night and someone starts chasing her.

Kathleen- Help!! Someone help me!!

The stalker soon catches up with her and catches her from behind. She on impulse, tries to push him with her hands and suddenly someone appears, not an ordinary human being... it was a wolf, with red eyes and sharp claws

The stalker soon lets go of me and runs away. The wolf in front of me scared me more than the stalker. Looks like he realized my fear and starts to untransform and turns...a human? It was very dark so I could only see a small part of his face. But you could see that he hid most of his face, you could only see his black hair and his red eyes

He reaches out to me like he wants to help me...I take his icy hand and he pulls me into a...hug?

She wakes up quickly after that. Which makes Leena a little scared

Kathleen- Oh!

Leena- Is it ok Kate?! You scared me, wow...

Kathleen- Sorry Leena, I had a weird dream...

The bell rings and they go to classes for the rest of the day. After the bell for the end of the last class rings and everyone is leaving to go to their rooms, Kate ends up bumping into Lian and almost falls when she sees the dream person's face for a split second

Lian- Are you alright?

He said holding her waist so she wouldn't fall

Kathleen- What... what are you?

Lian- ...

He lets her go and she straightens her clothes

Leena arrives and pulls her by the arm to the dorm

Leena- Don't tell me you're into the most popular boy in school?!

Kathleen- No...I think he's very different from us...humans...

Leena- Wow, I never thought you were like that Kate...

Kathleen- No no! It's not that, it's just... I saw something strange on his face...

Kathleen- Oh! Forgets. Sorry, I think I'm too tired

Leena- Ok...let's sleep then, we'll talk about it tomorrow. good night

Kathleen- Okay good night

It spent three weeks normally, the next day, at break, Leena is talking to other friends while Kate is sleeping at the table and again she has that weird dream, only she starts with the boy reaching out to her and then hugging her

Kathleen- W... what are you?

Boy- ...You just know how to ask that?

Kathleen- What do you mean?

Boy- You'll know when the time comes, you still don't know what you're capable of

After he says that he lets go of her, turns slowly and walks away

Kathleen- Wait! What does that mean?!
