Adrian was a model person. He was intelligent, tall, with a slim and handsome face. But there was one thing about him that he never said to anyone before. He is in love with this game called Dungeon raid. He was playing it whenever he had free time. Despite being a handsome guy he never had friends or a girlfriend. Not because he couldn’t make them, but instead he didn’t see why he should. He thought that they would only waste his free time. His father was killed when he turned 16 and his mother abandoned him when he was 5. He had to work on his own but he managed to get a pretty good job.

It was a day like any other. Adrian went straight home after he finished working. Today was kind of a busy day so he decided to lay in the bed and probably play Dungeon raid. He went straight to his room and sighed. "Why does work have to be so hard?" He asked himself as he was putting the disk into the game console. He grabbed his controller, seated on the couch, and started playing 

While playing he feels how his eyelids start to feel heavy. “I’m so tired. I should probably go to sleep.” he starts thinking for a bit then decides that he should go to sleep but not before finishing this quest that he had worked so hard to complete. Without noticing he was already half asleep. He could barely keep his eyes open. He slowly closes his eyes after finishing the quest. Before closing his eyes completely he sees a message in the game saying: What is it that you desire? "My desire?" He thought. "I guess having a life like the protagonist from this game." He said before fully falling asleep 

The next day when he opens his eyes he sees that he was in bed. It felt strange for him since he definitely remembers falling asleep on the couch. As he slowly tries to fully wake himself up he feels another presence next to him. He looks around confused."This is not my room. Where am I?" He asked himself while trying to remember what happened last night. As he looked around he noticed a young beautiful lady sleeping on the other side of the bed. Adrian can't help himself but just stare at the lady. She has nice long hair with a thin and charming face. "She is so beautiful." he thought. He keeps staring at her wondering what happened last night. 

The young lady suddenly opens her eyes. Panicked Adrian jumps out of the bed and falls. The lady looks at him and smiles. "Good Morning." she said while rubbing her eyes 

"W-who are you? Where am I?" Adrian asks 

"I'm Rose. And this is my house, or you can say the Royal House. " she replied with a smile on her face. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions to ask but first let me get dressed" 

"Uhh...yeah, sure" Adrian replied. He turns around and covers his eyes as well as closing his eyes. Rose looks at him for a moment and giggles. 

She puts some new clothes on her and taps Adrian's shoulder."Ok let's go. Follow me". Rose opens the door and goes downstairs. Adrian follows her while looking around. The house looked pretty strange. It didn't look like a modern one, it looked rather old as a design but fancy as hell. Rose leads Adrian to the kitchen and tells him to sit on a chair. 

While still looking around Adrian decided it's the right time to get the answers that he wanted to hear. "So, why am I in your house?" He asked 

"Well, yesterday I heard a noise coming from outside. I went to check it out and when I arrived I saw you there on the ground unconscious. So as any normal human will do, I took you home and put you on my bed." she replied and orders to her butler to make some tea 

"Since when do normal people take strangers inside their house and sleep on the same bed with them?" 

"Since yesterday. Because I did it yesterday." The butler pours some tea in Rose's cup. "Kinda cold". Rose makes a flame appear from her finger and uses it to warm the tea 

"I'm so sorry M'lady. That will never happen again" The butler said scared

Rose smiles and looks at him " It's ok. Everyone makes mistakes"

"WAS THAT MAGIC?!" Adrian screamed, being surprised by what's going on. "How did you do that?!"

"Uhhh. Just like anyone in this world. Why are you asking?" She looks at him.

"Oh never mind." He goes back to sipping his tea silently while thinking about what the hell is going on and where the hell is he. "Am I just dreaming? Yeah, that's gotta be it" he thought. He looks at Rose. "Hey uhh, Rose right? Can you please punch me?"

"Why would you ask something like this?" she seemed surprised but she didn't hesitate tho and punched Adrian right in the nose 

"Ah! Mother fuc-" Adrian puts his hand on his nose and tries to fight against the pain "What are you? A freaking gorilla? What's with this strength?"

"Who are you making a gorilla?! You asked me to punch you and I did. So where's the thank you?" She crosses her arms waiting for an apology 

"Yeah, you're right. Sorry. Anyway I think I need some time alone to get all my thoughts together, so I think I’ll go outside" 

"I mean it's understandable. I'll leave you alone but after that, you will have to answer some of my questions as well" She shows Adrian, where the door to go outside, is and waves at him as he walks away. 

Adrian sits next to a tree and looks at the sky thinking. "So what's the next thing I've done before waking up here? I know I was playing my game but I don't remember falling asleep." He holds his head. " Was she using magic? Was I hallucinating? Ahhhh! I can't answer" 

A feminine voice appears inside Adrian's head and answers his questions" She was indeed using magic" 

"Who said that!?" He looks around but sees nothing. "Was I imagining again?" He thought "Jesus I think I'm going insane"

"You weren't imagining. It was me that was speaking to you. I am your personal helper. I'm here to help and guide you through your new life in this new world" the voice replied 

"New world? Can this be-". Adrian didn't even have time to finish his sentence because the voice answered 

"Yes. You have been transported into a new world. As your personal helper, I'll provide you with all the details that you want to know"

"I see" He holds his chin thinking of a question to ask the voice. After some time asking the voice questions, he now knows some things about this world. This world is entirely built around magic. They spend more learning and understanding magic than science which leads to a civilization that looks more like it's from the medieval period. The magic is converted into skills. They are common skills that everyone can use and skills which are only available to a specific person. This world is also surrounded by demi-humans and monsters."You know this world might be nice" He said 

After he found out about all this Adrian was curious if he had skills as well or if he could at least use the common ones but before asking a sound is heard from the bushes. Adrian slowly backs away starting to run thinking it might be a monster. He was right since out of the bushes came out a giant wolf that started running after Adrian.
