" Help! " I scream as I catch my breath.

" Try shouting or I'll kill you! " He threatened me as the gun was pointed at me.

" Try calling the police or else I will kill this woman! " He said as he pointed the gun at the people around us.

People were shouting, some ran away and others hid.

Just calm down, Briana. Keep calm.

I calmed myself, and thought of what my father, a General, had taught me.

I grabbed his arm at the wrist. I've decided to disarm the criminal because it's likely I will be shot otherwise, i spined the gun away from me.

I make sure that the gun is pointed away from my body as i grab it, and spin it away. I continued the energy I've created by twisting the arm with the gun around me to the right as i face away from where the criminal was originally positioned. I flipped the gunman on the ground as i spin to the right while holding the gunman's arm. I keep my hand on the attacking arm, and take the gun.

I grabbed the gun directly from the hand. Twisted the gun down, breaking the gunman's finger as i do it. I twisted the gun to the right. All of these maneuvers are dangerous if the criminal is stronger than you and also risk the gun firing and striking other people in the area.

I take the gun from the gunman's wounded hand. I used the right hand to stop the wrist as i use the left hand to bend his wrist before twisting the gun down. This is crucial. If you don’t grab their wrist before twisting the gun down, you will risk them maintaining control of the gun.

Humans only grab one way, with their thumb and forefingers. When the grip is primarily based on the thumb, attacking the thumb with an elbow strike, fist strike, or a twisting motion going against the thumb with leverage can break the grip.

He shivered running away but I was faster than him so I even caught up with him. I held his hand and grabbed him and just as the police arrived, i guess they were called by witnesses to what had happened.
