'KIDS PACK YOUR BAGS! WE'RE GOING TO KOREA!' I was woken up by my moms yelling and had no other choice but to get up and start packing. Our flight wasn't until the next day but we needed the time to pack our precious belongings.

' dad how long is the flight?' I asked trying to be the one that has braincells among the kids. ' about 18 hours sweetie, but it will go by faster than you know it ' my dad replied. ' dad how long will our stay be?' my twin brother asked leaning back with his feet on the table.

' 1 year, the reason is because we want you all to create a bond with your relatives over there'. what?! so that means leaving my friends here and going to another school where I know nobody and legit don't speak Korean?! I looked at my dad with a 'are you serious look'. my dad sighed ' look it's a great way to socialize ' my dad said. pfft that's the last thing I want to do. I rolled my eyes ' dad! I have to leave my friends to go to a place I don't even know the language of! I won't survive! I got up and went to my room to do as I was told. ' let's get this bread ' I said as I grabbed a textbook and started studying the language I'm going to be surrounded by for a year. 'THIS ONLY TEACHES ME THE FORMAL WAY OF SAYING THINGS ' I get up and go to my dad. ' dad, teach me the informal Korean '
