I am Atalia, a Grade 5 student. Today is the first day of school and I'm sooooo excited! I will be able to meet a lot of new people and I will also be able to have new friends...

*went to school early*

*says all names and leaves for the teachers meeting*

*Teacher comes back and introduces herself and we also introduced ourselves*

(Turns out that (future way of thinking: a**hole's) guy's name is Hanley.. rude of him to not introduce himself properly though)

*Teacher starts talking about Buddy systems (your seatmate is your buddy)*

(Oh, so he's my buddy? I don't care who my buddy will be anyways)

**Hey, my buddy! Let's go to the school cafeteria!

C'mon, it's my treat and teacher also said that we must take care of our buddies/seatmates!

*went to the canteen and holding his hand.... In other words, dragging Hanley to the canteen without feeling anything cuz I only thought of him as the "buddy" our teacher assigned to me..no romantic feelings*
