Ellison Fei is a half american, half chinese person. She is born in New York and lives there with her parents but the ties with the other culture aren't cut off. At the age of five, her chinese mother takes her on a trip back to China to meet her grandparents. At that time they were living near a small provincial town. There she spents the most beautiful summer vacation and falls in love with that place and its people.

She makes friends and swears to return when she will become a grown up woman.

When they come back to America, she starts feeling lonely without that far away land but luckily her younger brother is born and she doesn't feel emptiness anymore.

After twenty years, when her studies are over and she manages to take her design degree, Ellison tells her parents the decisive news. She intends to move to China and in time to start her own fashion business there. Her parents are against her decision at the beginning thinking that it will be an impossible dream but they approve it into an end. They don't have the required financial power to help their daughter in pursuing her childhood dreams but her mother advises her to visit her grandparents and maybe live in the old house for a while. She agrees and the next day the enthusiastic girl packs her things and starts searching for plane tickets.

Madam Fei calls her parents to inform them about their granddaughter's decision. The old people are more than happy to hear the good news and they prepare for her arrival.

In two days she's already on the plane waiting for it to take off. It's going to be a tiresome trip Elly, she says to herself while adjusting her safety belt.

"It's going to be a long trip!"

She travels next to a young man, dressed in a black suit, who wears a sleeping mask the entire time. This guy emanates quite a mysterious air but it doesn't bother her too much.

"The man must be very tired", she thinks.

When the plane lands on the airport, her heart starts beating fast and she barely can keep her emotions under control. Elly is over excited about her new life from now on. She knows that it will be a difficult time and she must overcome many hardships but Elly doesn't regret her decision.

In a short time the luggages are back in her possession and she can continue her trip from Beijing to her grandparents place.

A think that attracts her attention while she was sitting down near that man is his mole from the top of the nose. Elly found it very amusing.

She remembers that she has seen this thing before, back when she was a child and she was playing with one of her friends during her vacation at her grandparents. It was a good time back then, almost the best.

Elly asks herself if she will meet the same people again and if they still cultivate sunflowers.This time she will thank them properly for taking care of her in the past and offering her the best memories possible.
