The year is 2090

Lia was annoyed. Sleeping in a bed was Logix. He signed in reaction to Lia, and said

Logix mumbles in his sleep

Lia furiously storms out of the room

Logix gets up, sits on his bed trying to wake himself up and get a grasp of reality just as he woke from his slumber. He stretches his body, and yawns. Logix speaks out loud

In Logix's mind he speaks to the A.I

In the year 2090, phones are a thing of the past. A device called S-Stem is a government issued device, which by law everyone should have as it is ones identity, passport and device of communication. S-stem is neuro-linked device. S-stem is operated and implanted to new born babies behind their brain. S-stem is a norm in this day and age, and it is used for other multiple things. Communications such as call and texts, recordings using your very own eyes, internet browsing and many more things. S-stem also serves as a A.I (Artificial Intelligence) Assistant. S-stem is directly connected to the brain which allows the individual to talk, use and listen to S-stem as well S-stem related things in their conscious mind.

Logix gets up and goes to the washroom to freshen up

Lia, who is downstairs shouts at Logix.

Logix heard Lia. Although, he does not reply back to her. He knows that Lia most probably does not care if Logix heard him or not. He knows she has probably left already.

After Logix freshens up, he heads downstairs to the kitchen

He puts the pizza slices in the Oven, and it is ready and heated within seconds.

He takes the hot plate of Pizza into the dinning room and sits on the dining table.

While eating his lunch he decides that now is the best time to call his best friend Escabar whom he plans to watch a movie with later on this evening.

Escobar starts the conversation with a thrilled greeting

Logix and Escabar have been good friends since middleschool. Logix likes to refer to Escabar as Esca.

Escabar replies in shock

Logix says, with excitement

Escabar hangs up the call

Logix finishes up his lunch and puts the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Heads upstairs back to his room and gets ready to depart to Escabars house.

Logix gets in his Stang, and prepares to depart to Escabars house.

The car makes a faint noise. In front of Logix, the dashboard opens a compartment from where the steering wheel emerges.

Logix places his hand firmly on the steering wheel.

With excitement, Logix said

Annoyed by the S-stem notifications, Logix exclaimed in his mind

Young adult Logix couldn't resist the thrill of testing his brand new car, that was gifted to him. His speed ranged from 200 km pushing all the way to 280km on the empty highway.

Logix panicked into complete shock as soon as he heard the warning notification from S-stem go off in his head.

In confusion, says Logix

Logix kept repeatedly hammering the brakes to no avail. The brakes were completely useless. The S-stem that Logix heavily relied stoped functioning properly as well. He tried his best to drive on the highway with the speed of 210km.

Screeched Logix loudly from the top of his lungs.

Logix approached a sharp bend on the highway. With the speed he was proceeding there was no possibility that he could make the curve. Logix lost control of his car attempting to make the sharp curve on the highway. He made disastrous impact on the curb which sent the car flying down the hill near the river bed.

Very faintly Logix could hear the sound of the River flowing in the dark gloomy night.

Logix opened his eyes faintly. He grasped the situation he was in. In that state he felt his life go through like a film roll. Contemplating every action, and every choices he had made. Thoughts flew throughout his mind about his family, his friends and the people he probably wont get to meet. His eye's slowly creaking shut. He knew... this was it.

A voice murmured in Logix's head.

Voice sparked in Logix's head again.

The voice ignores the question brought forward by Logix

Wheeps Logix as tears start to leak from his eyes. His eye showed the realization of the situation he has now been put in. He couldn't stop thinking primarily about his family the most, he cries uncontrollably.

Logix recollects himself

As Logix finished saying that, he wipes his tears off his face and prepares his proud face looking at light that is speaking to him in the white lighten up room.

Before Logix could finished saying his sentence, his eyes slowly start to shut uncontrollably. The light starts to fade as his eye lids slowly close shut. Then there was complete darkness. Complete silence. He could not even hear himself breathing.

In the darkness there was a faint light widening very slowly. Its was so bright that it stung the eyes, yet it was unavoidable and Logix could not help but keep his vision set on widening light in the dark room he was stuck in.

His eyes widen past the light, stinging his eyes, yet unable to blink, in reaction he puts his hand on his face

Logix can finally see clearly. He gazes up, and stares at two giant looking people standing in front of him. Unable to grasp the situation he yells!

What Logix is trying to say is not coming out as thinks.

Baffled, he gazes back up to see the two giant people.

The two couple are conversing with each other with excitement. They look down on Logix

Logix looks down on his hands and feet. Realizing his hands and feet are indeed small and underdeveloped. At the moments he looks around to see his surroundings. There are toys everywhere and across the room he see's a mirror directly reflecting back at him. That's when he realized that he indeed is a baby!

Logix starts to cry, unable to control his emotion The two couple start panicking

As time passes into days, Logix finally comes to terms with the setting he has been placed in. He realized that this is most definitely not a dream, but rather the cold hard reality. Coming to terms with that, Logix has time to himself to get a grasp of surroundings and contemplate the situation he is in.

Looking at Logix, he seems to be stuck in cage, which seems like a playpen. The cage structure seems to be built using wooden material, and seems to be hand-crafted by someone adept. In the wooden cage, Logix has toys around him. He is sitting on soft, warm and fluffy blanket with feathered cushions on each corners of the cage. Logix has enough space to walk around in the wooden cage, but length of the structure is too tall for him to climb over. Therefore Logix is indefinitely stuck, left to his thoughts for the time being.

Out habit and reaction Logix says

Logix tries to feel back of his head to feel the scar from the operation. As he reaches to the place of operated wound, he realized that the scar from the operation is not there. Logix is baffled by the discovery.

Logix feels curious of the S-stem functionality, in its offline mode.

Logix still in confusion with no other option he agrees to accept the update prompt from S-stem.

Logix realized that the update will take couple of hour's at least. Few hour's go by, Logix's new parent's come by and greet and play with him. Logix's mother feeds Logix and cleanses him through bath.

Later that night...

Both of Logix's parents take turn and kiss Logix on his forehead and tuck him in the bed. Logix pretends to shut his eyes and sleep. The parent's then close the door to his room and leave.

In curiosity, Logix asks S-stem

Still confused, Logix asked S-stem another curious question.

A world map appears in front of Logix in front of him in his eyes. Logix bewildered... he realized that he is not on earth anymore. The map shows that he is on a completely different planet structure

Logix spends the whole night figuring out what where he is and what the new world entails. As the night progresses... Logix baby body unable to keep up with his brain, he tries out. Succumbing to sleep naturally, due to him being exhausted.
