When you told me about the offer you got from the Smith's I was happy , but then you said ten million’s for you never thought you would be worth that much . I never excepted that you would go that far not even for money.

The first thought that came to mind was already, it’s only been a day. I felt a tear slowly falling down my face , and more and more tears. First now only minutes away my future husband. A stranger , of course I have seen his face on pictures and billboards. But I know nothing about him only things I’ve heard , it’s not the same pictures and reality. I wiped my tears and started packing my things.

I took my bag and put in some clothes. I took the teddy bear that dad gave me before the accident. I checked if everything was there my phone , charger , clothes and the most important thing the teddy bear. An small fluffy cute bear. I don’t have much things mum said to only pack the most important things. I know I will have new things when I reatch the Smith‘s mansion.

- Noah are you ready?

- Yes I’m ready!

- Good because they’re here now!

It was almost like she was proud of it. I took my bag and walked down the stairs , it has never taken that long to walk down a stair.

When I reached the end and walked to the living room , seeing my mom , another lady and a tall handsome man looking at me.

The way he looked at me was not what I expected the coldness in his eyes was hoorifying. I think he noticed I got scared but he didn’t seem to cere. The coldness didn’t disappear.

The lady sitting next to him seemed to be happy she stood up and walked towards me with a big smile on her face. She started talking an introduced her self. She said

- Hello! I’m Sofia Smith , but call me mom.

- Hello! I said back.

She started introducing me to her son my future husband.

- This is my son Derek. Derek say hi to him.

- Hello

- Hello I said back “ with a low voice “

Not long after we sat in the luxurious car on the way to the big mansion.

When we arived Sofia asked if I wanted a tour of the mansion. But I said no thanks I’m really tired where can I sleep? It felt like a dumb question to ask. She answered with your going to get your own room until the marriage and then asked a maid to show me my room.

The room was big and empty. But I didn’t cere I was tired of progressing all the new things that has happened to me today. After awhile I fall asleep thinking about the serous and cold glance he gave me today. Not what I expected but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be either.

I woke up by someone knocking on the door. I slowly opened my eyes. I heard the knocking and said

- Yes , who is it?

- Me Derek! “ with a cold voice”

- what do you want?

- Mom wants me to spend time with you! “ cold voice “

- ok “ I got scared of the cold voice “

He opened the door and said

- just so you know I don’t want to marry you! It’s just my mom who want me to get married with you.

- But I thought you wanted

That was enough to make him angry he grabbed my neck and yelled.

- JUST SO YOU KNOW I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!

- It hurts so much please stop.

He grabbed my neck even harder and clenched his fist and hit the wall. And then he left the room.

I was so scared. I took out the teddy bear from my bag and started talking. Dad why can’t you be here.” I felt tears falling down my face”. Dad you would never had let mom accept the offer. You…

The tears has taken over me now and the feeling of homesickness. I tried to brush it of but it didn’t help. My eyes were swollen and red. And the first real impression of him was not good. And I was scared.

I tried to think of something else but. The face of my mom showed up. My mom isn’t that bad she has always cared for me but , her obsession was more important then anything , it all got worse when dad died. Most of the income was from dad and almost nothing from mom. She works at a fast food restaurant , so she doesn’t earn much money. And when she gets money she spends it all on clothes. I work at a small cafe , I work there because I want to eat to.

I went towards the straits and started to go down it. When I came down I heard a voice

- Noah your here , you want breakfast.

- Yes I do want breakfast.

- Noah didn’t I say to call me mom?

- Yes you did

- Then call me mom

- Yes mom

- Good!

She showed me the kitchen , and I was amazed by how big and beautiful it was. She gave me an bowl with milk and cereal in it I started eating. But she started staring at my eyes. I looked up. And she took the opportunity to say

- Has something happened

- No

- But your eyes there swollen and red.

I didn’t answer and started eating again. She looked concerned but kept silent. She looked up on me again and this time she saw the red marked on my neck. I thought she would say some thing but she didn’t. I stood up and said I have to work. She just said ok.

After awhile I reached the small cafe and started working. I called my friends to tell them what happened yesterday.

They came after twenty minutes. They were all happy and came up to me and said ,Noah you said you wanted to talk?
