"HANNAH",mom called,"get down what are you still doing up there I'm running late!"

"Coming mum!",I yelled packing my stuffs into my backpack.

"What took you so long?"she asked as I walked down the stairs.

"I'm sorry".

"whatever".

I giggled and mom laughed.

She held my hand and we walked towards her car laughing.

My name is Hannah Aidlers,a seventeen year old.I live with my mother just the both of us.My father abandoned or I'll rather say left us when I was eleven.I am in the second year of high school.Mom works so hard to feed both of us after dad left it has been difficult,mom is also strict about anything relating to relationships especially with guys.Gosh my mom and guys are a big opposite she always sites dad as an example.She tells me when I'm eighteen I can have a boyfriend but having them before you are an adult is useless and pointless she says always.

"Guess what?",my best friend friend, Clara said as we walked down the class

"what?"

"I finally have a boyfriend!",she replied happily.

I shrug ,well she's a year younger than me so I guess my mom's rule apply to her(lol)

"Come on Hannah you should bend the rules at times, it's fun "she said.

I smiled.Suddenly screams filled the hallway and girls ran towards a direction.Clara asked a girl what's going on to know if we are safe or we are in danger so we also can join the running.

"JAYDEN WHITE IS HERE!"she screamed and she continued running.

"Jayden!"Clara exclaimed"Can we go please?"

"Who is he by the way?",I asked

"Seriously,you don't know him?well he is a model,an actor,a musician and he is also the owner of the top selling biggest music industry "JAW",she replied.

"I'm not interested,you can go",I replied flatly.

Actually I don't have interest in all of these music and movies stuffs.So seeing a music celebrity and being excited and all is not my thing.

"Please",She tried again.

"Okay I'll go with here for me",she said and she hurried off.

I stood in the hallway waiting,only me is here everyone has gone to see him.I felt the urge to pee and I quickly went to the restroom.I got there and a guy dressed in black from head to toe is standing in front of the mirror.He is wearing a facecap and a hoodie.

"Excuse me?,what are you doing in the female's restroom?"I asked him.

He pulled off his hoodie and his facecap,he turned to look at me.

"You perv!what are you doing here?are you here to look at the ladies in…"I was cut short as he pulled me into one of the toilets.

"Shhhh"he said putting his hand to my lips.

my eyes grew wide.Such audacity.

My arms are on his chest and his other hand is wrapped around my waist.I stared into his eyes,his blue eyes.He looks familiar but I can't seem to place his face anywhere.

Footsteps sounded close to the toilet we are in.His hands slowly moved to the back of my thighs and he lifted me up wrapping my legs around his hip.My eyes grew wider.

"Not here either, let's leave"a voice said.

"Yup,there's only a pair of feet here",another voice added.

Soon the sound of the footsteps gradually faded.I quickly got down from his body.I can feel the heat in my cheeks rising.I turned away from him and went to the sink to rinse my face.

"Hannah Aidlers",he called.

I stood rooted to the spot surprised how on Earth did he know my name.

"Marry me".

I walked down the hallway thinking of what just happened in the restroom.That was really scary,how did he get to know my name and he asked me to marry him!was that a prank or what.Whoever he is,he is really scary.

"Where were you?"a voice interrupted my thoughts.

I quickly came back to reality(well that was also a reality).

"The restroom",I replied."By the way were you able to see him?",I asked.

"Yup but not for long",she replied."he just 'poof' disappeared when we all were not focused on him".

I nodded.

"let's head to class",I said.

Throughout all our classes I couldn't concentrate.The weird guy and the weirder question got me thinking and a bit scared.

"...and that's for today",our final subject teacher for the day said packing up her books.

"Finally, today's lessons are over", Clara said stretching.

"Hannah are you okay? I noticed you have been looking bothered"she added looking at me.

"I'm good,just a bit stressed out",I replied smiling and trying to put the weird thoughts aside.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded.

"If you need anything or you need someone to talk to I'm always here okay?"she said giving me a big hug.

"Alan and I are going to a party tonight, care to join?",she asked.

"Sorry who's Alan?",I asked.

"Oh, I didn't tell you his name,silly me, he is my boyfriend",she replied.

"Sorry…no, I'm sorry I can't",I said flatly.

"You need to break the rules at times I'll keep saying this to you",she said giggling.

"I'm heading home ",I said standing up."Aren't you?".

"Alan is coming to pick me up", she replied happily.

"Okay then see you tommorow",I said leaving the class.

I got home feeling tired.Mom takes me to school but I take the bus back home.Mom isn't home yet so I showered and I brought out my e-reader.I enjoy reading books a lot.While reading ,my phone sounded,I checked it and a message popped up.It is from an unknown number.I read the message and it says

HANNAH, YOU'VE NOT GIVEN ME AN ANSWER,YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME ONE BEFORE THE END OF TODAY.

TIME:9P.M.

VENUE:DAN'S AMUSENT PARK

I stared at my phone like it was a foreign object.How did he get my number?,what does he mean by seeing mom in danger?,what do I do?so many thoughts ran through my mind.

I tried calling Clara but she isn't picking.I also tried calling mum she isn't picking up also.This is 8:30p.m. and the required time is 9p.m.I sighed and I stood up to get dressed.Another message popped up

MOTHER DEAREST'S TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

"No not mom please"I muttered to myself as I hurriedly got dressed.

He said if I come nothing would happen but now he is changing the rules.

I got to the amusement park 8:55p.m. and I ran around calling mom.No one is here and I wonder why, an amusement park is meant to be filled with people.

"Well welcome, miss Hannah",a voice said.I turned around and I saw the guy I saw earlier.Mom is standing behind him with her face a bit bruised.

"Hannah why did you come?"mom said in whispers.

I stood frozen to the spot, surprised.Who on earth is this guy? and how did he get my mum?.

Mum's hands are tied behind her.

"Well,welcome",he said smiling.

"Let my mum go",I said.I am really scared and I don't have the slightest idea of what he is planning to do.

He chuckled and he walked closer to me.

"You know the condition",he said.

"Let her go first",I said.

"Okay okay fine",he said.

He clapped his hands and two men from nowhere walked towards mum and one of them gagged her and the other carried her on his shoulder.

"Let her go please"',I said trying to go to her but he held me by my arm firmly.

"You know it,you know what to do",he said.

I stared at mum as she struggled against the man's grip.

"Fine, I'll do whatever you want,just let her go",I said.

"Let her go",he said.

The man put her down and removed her gag.Mom ran towards me and she touched my cheeks.

"What did you just agree to do?",mom asked.

"Mom please just go home okay, I'll be fine",I said to her."I promise I'll tell you everything when I get home"

"Take her home",he instructed.

She was about to say something but she was pulled away.

"Tell your men to respect her".I said to him.

"Of course",he replied.

I watched as mom was lead away and put in a car.

"So, where we were we?",he asked sitting on a bench.

"What do you want?,"I asked him.

"20th of March 20xx,does that date ring a bell?"he asked staring hard into my eyes.

That date,that month,that year isn't what I want to remember now.

"I have no idea of what you are talking about",I lied.

He chuckled and he stood up.

"You can't lie to me,you know that",he said walking towards me.

"I'm not lying",I said with my voice a bit shaky.

"Your mom is in my car and anything can happen to her",he said smirking."Tell me everything you know about that day",

"I don't know anything about it",

"This is your last chance,tell me everything you know about that day"he said with a dead serious tone.

"I said I do not know",I stood firm.

"You asked for it",he said.

"Wait....",I tried to talk but it was too late.

He snapped his fingers and a loud explosion sounded in the distance.

My heart pounded furiously and tears welled up in my eyes.

"No not mom",I mumbled running towards the direction the explosion sounded.

A pair of strong hands pulled me back.

"Where do you think you are going?",he asked.

"We are not done here",he added.

Tears streamed down my eyes and I struggled to break free from his grip.

"I said I don't know anything about that day!",I yelled.

"Lies",he said."I'll dial for an ambulance now if you tell me where they are hidden".

"I said I do not know what you are talking about!",I replied yelling and crying at the same time.

"What did you gain now that you've killed her?",I mumbled amidst sobs.

He let go of my arms and I sat on the bench.

"Yes,an accident just occurred close to Dan's amusement park,yes thank you."he said.

I didn't look up to check if he was truly dialing for an ambulance or not.I couldn't think properly.Mom is dead because of me,mom is dead those were the words that rang in my ears and my mind.

"She isn't dead, she'll only sustain some injuries which could be fatal",he said calmly.

I stood up and I begun to walk away.He watched me as I walked away not saying a word.Whoever he is I really hate him.
